Miss Millie's Awesome Chicken in South Gloucestershire

Not sure why there is still a miss millies in yate to be honest, driest chicken ever, shocking staff, I place an order through uber eats an hour before they close and they cancel the order and turn their phones off (twice this has happened now) all the good reviews are definitely from friends of staff because not once have I had decent customer service in there, no one ever looks like they’re happy to help let alone want to be there. I think yate would benefit from having a Burger King again instead of this sad excuse of a fast food chain, they are also no where near busy enough during the day to have run out of items on the menu to be cancelling orders placed at 1050pm when they close at midnight. Pathetic service.

Usually they’re decent but I put in an order on uber eats and waited almost an hour for the food to leave the kitchen. It never did and the store closed. Had to cancel the order.

Just ordered 2 classic chicken burgers on uber eats for delivery which is literally 2 minutes down the road, food turned up cold but not only that the chicken was so chewy and dry seemed like it was cooked last month. I know you can have a 28 aged steak but never heard of it in a chicken burger form. Won’t be ordering from them again. Worst £13 I have ever spent. Don’t know how this place stays open serving food like this.

I had an order that was wrong, spoke to the manager Tracy who was very good and redone my order for me with no hassle absolutely great manager.

Please be careful from the shop because a lady her name ( Tracey) called herself manager she is doing fraud with Delivery drivers and have a rude behaviour As I picked a order today form her and i ask her that please check your order is complete or not she said yes complete when i go to deliver customer check the order but it was not complete When i come back to store to ask her your order was not complete she was not going to accept her fault she was totally misguiding the driver intentionally so please be careful from her

Although we come from Oxford whenever we are around Yates we ALWAYS go to Millies for something to eat and are never disappointed. Yesterday we were served by Tracey who greeted us with a smile and chat then insisted in bringing the food to us! Highly recommend Millies to eat just a shame you do not have an eaterie near Oxford?

Went to Miss Millies on 9th November 2024 at 3.45pm food was OK cooked from fresh but the only thing spoiled the whole meal was the staff member said no you can not have salt sachets for takeaway food HOW WRONG IS THIS ITS A TAKEAWAY. Do they expect you to go to a supermarket for salt ? Please let me know your thoughts,go to a chippy always offered salt & vinegar NOT HAPPY.

First time of trying, impressed with the flavours; return visit on the cards when I'm hungry again 😀 Served by Tracy, very polite and courteous and even gave me directions back to the car park. Such a help and fantastic service on top of it all, order was ready in approx 5 mins from arrival. Thanks

We decided to try this place after a very disappointing meal from Miss Millie’s a few years ago. I can now say it’s great quality food, well priced and the churros are delicious! This place is under new management from a few years ago, so if you had a disappointing experience, try again.

Tracey that served me was great today nice and polite and served with a smile would recommend and be back again

£12 for a pretty basic burger meal and got a sundae… the food is really disappointing, felt more like a kids meal… ice cream was poor and the advertisement was very deceiving in size. No one in here place is dead and can see why there packed out at McDonalds around the corner. Poor and disappointing honestly feel ripped off.

I've popped in on my lunch break a few times now and I always know I'll get a warm welcome from Tracy at the counter. The food is great, the chips always piping hot and the chicken is delicious. Definitely recommend 🍗🍟🔥😍👍

When it's good it's amazing. The hot wings are proper hot so be warned.

The superior KFC. Nicer food, friendly service, clean facilities, good menu, all for decent prices. If you're in the Bristol area, definitely give it a shot!

Absolutely amazing experience all food was hot and tasty ! Tracy the employee behind the counter was very friendly and kind was a lovely overall experience.

We don't really go in much, but we went in on a Saturday night, the place was really quiet, there were no drinks on tap, the chicken strips were stone cold, the burger looked like someone had stood on it and it took much longer than usual for the food to come out even though it wasn't busy, for the £47 we spent on 2 adults and 2 children it should of been much better.I'm not sure this place will be here for much longer, sadly.

I was greeted cheerfully by Tracy & she even brought my order to the table for me! I enjoyed a BBQ Bird meal, which was delicious; the fries were better than other fast-food parlours & the sandwich was packed with yummy flavours & textures. Great to have interesting salad leaves instead of the sad / boring /wilting lettuce that some places fob you off with 😉

Lush chicken, perfectly hot. me and my sister enjoy popcorn chicken, they supplied plenty of ketchup and were super friendly, I was served by tracy, she is lovely

We liked the bbq burger along with churos and sundae. It was very yum and delicious. We enjoyed sitting inside with the lovely food and staring outside on the sunny side of the day from the huge windows.

Dined in for lunch today and very happy with friendly and welcoming service from Tracy and Feroz. The food was delicious and good value for money! Will definitely be coming back again soon.

Yate’s best kept secret if you’re looking for fried chicken. Millie’s has always been way out in front of KFC for food. This venue is clean and sparkling and super fast bringing your food. Was served by the delightful Tracy 😁

Visited today with 4 young children for lunch. Wow food was so quick, fresh and tasty. Never seen my kids demolish food like that. I was most impressed with customer service here (Tracy) what an asset to your company!!! So helpful with the menu and checking up if all was fine with food. Person serving was paying more attention on her phone while serving me food was stone cold and rubbery wouldn't eat in hear again.

I have been here quite few times and I have had mainly positive experiences with food and customer service. Most of the time I have been served by an exceptionally polite Indian gentleman who really couldn't do enough to help you, and would probably go above and beyond to make your experience a good one { Give this man a promotion } Another time I was greeted by your typical council estate Karen who was around 50. She was racist and derogatory complaining about the Indians taking over the store / franchise. All of this was in front of my 6 year old daughter, she even had the cheek to ask me for a review and to mention her, so here I am. Sack this women..

Turned up at 10.55am today. Waited until opening time the person inside not opening at 11.10am just looking at the till we knocked on the door and nothing not evening looking up so we left. Terrible customer service.

Vile. Fries - Firstly, we need to congratulate Millie's; anemic, flaccid, soggy and flavourless fries like KFC, but somehow even worse. I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to get reincarnated as a potato, to then end up as a Miss Millie's chip... truly sad and pathetic. Gravy - Imagine a scoop of oil from a fryer that hasn't been changed in a year, mixed with cornflour, dirt and foot scum. Onion rings - Noice. Fried chicken - Perfectly fried crispy chicken, salty with subtle hints of the exact vomit inducing aftertaste as above. Pass me the bucket Bruce! "Fillet" burgers - 2 tiny chicken selects and half a teaspoon of slaw in an untoasted bun: a £1 mayo chicken BEATS this. "Loaded" Cheese sauce x2 - Less than 20% of a cheese single sneezed on your bun. They'll put the 80% on your other burger right? No. Financial crisis and all that sorry chaps. You've had your £2 worth. Sauce pots - Choose wisely: Your 85p pot of sauce is mighty, but can save only 3 fries. SERVICE - My rider, let's call him Brucey, cycled there after 1hr only to have the order cancelled at his feet. Hangry, I order again. Brucey cycles back like Tour De Yate, but, alas... The food arrives colder than my heart after waiting 2hrs to experience that gravy above.

This woman called Tracy, she was very helpful. She told me where the toilet was the other day and was super nice. As a Black - Polish lady she didnt do anything against me like normal people do. This girl deserves a promotion. Miss millies yate, do not lose this woman. She is very good as her job and she is super talented. She worked as fast as she can to give me and my kids food. Thank you Tracy.

Stopped off in here for lunch yesterday. £4.99 for a chicken burger and chips. Had to get a pot of thier gravy as a side, which was a triumph. Much better than KFC in my opinion.

As seen in the photos the food is not well cooked. Meat is raw on the bone. Had to put it in the ayrfrier to avoid throwing to the bin.Will never order again :)

I had tonight a megabite burger, plus a chicken fillet, french fries and gravy. The burger was correct but the fillet tested horrible, I don't know if it was coocked today or 3 days ago and yhe gravy was absolutely disgusting. The fact its that I come from toilet right now, I'm sick. Your chicken fillet and gravy made me being sick 2 times already. Your food is contaminated. How do you do this!!!!! Absolutely unbelievable Just to let you all now the managment team dodnt get in contact with me. They dont care costumers and they just write what you can read above to me the people think they do.

Made us wait 30 mins for food, served 3 other customers whilst we waited, food was then so vile that we threw it away

I haven't been to Miss Millies for quite a while tending to frequent kfc instead. However, I was really impressed with my southern fried chicken and chips. Polite and friendly service, but I was the only person in the place!

Personally I am not a fan of fast food , but the food surpassed by expectations. We had a lovely server called Tracey , who her presence alone improved our experience greatly. Food is fairly priced with a lot of deals and promotions going on. Clean atmosphere and genuinely a relaxing lunch out.

You've gone down hill alot, you might aswell just close the door now instead of ruining miss millies brand even more. Just picked up a boneless meal, the chicken was dry, tough and tested like you cooked it hours ago, the chips were definitely cooked in black old oil, and the gravy well you can call it that it was thickened water. At least the Pepsi was cold I suppose well done for keeping your drinks fridge cold atleast.
