Came here to buy a seedling greenhouse. As soon as we came in Haden, a member of staff took me and my elderly mother to where the item was and helped us to select it from the range displayed there. The staff were so helpful, we had a lovely lunch in the cafe. I would recommend to anyone to come here for the product range and helpful staff, as well as the excellent food.

It's a friendly place. Everyone is really helpful and nothing seems to much. She's are always present. All stuff is brilliant quality. And - tell me where one can go nowadays and all will be loaded in your car for you.

Meet with friends on a Monday every month, our Diabetes Grp., staff recognise us with a warm welcome. We always enjoy coffees and cake or the delicious Bacon rolls. Never disappointed. Always have a look around the Garden Centre and shop. Staff are friendly and helpful. Always enjoy a trip over to Chepstow Garden Centre too. Well worth a visit! Restaurant has been renovated, really lovely!

I don't come here very often but lives the changes they've made since I was here last - mainly layout to the outside plants area. It was the first time is needed to find the "facilities" which need better signage. The ladies is only easily seen if walking from the opposite direction if the door is open (which is a dead end) and the arrow to the loos is misleading and I ended up going to the staff only bit. Staff are lovely. Place is tidy. Didn't use the cafe this time.

Really helpful guy in with the plants today (Sunday), who answered every one of our questions with knowledge and a smile. The lady on the till was kind and helpful, especially with my elderly mum. Another older man was also on hand to answer questions and take our trolly back. Thank you 😊

Friendly and helpful staff, with a good range of fruit, veg, shrubs and trees, as well as garden accessories & equipment.

Very helpful staff. Disabled parking outside, I think it's all on one level ( no steps). Make sure you have a big car. When you see all the plants they have, you will want to get them all. From a coffee shop ,plants ,compost, bird baths /ornaments, garden furniture. Lots to choose from.

Lovely garden centre. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. They have some amazing garden furniture, although it's expensive it's very good quality. The cafe is brilliant as well, with a selection of scrumptious cakes.

Just visited the garden cafe for a late breakfast with a friend. Ordered two bacon baguettes and they were very good. Generous amount of bacon. However the service was sadly lacking. The cafe was freezing and had no atmosphere. The lady that took our order had no interaction with us , not even a thank you. The young girl who did the coffee obviously didn’t want to be there and was completely detached! Our food order was placed in front of us , no mention of where to find cutlery or condiments. Just plonked there. Very disappointing, at least have a smile!

I had a trolley full of pebbles,so instead of tromping around the shop and crashing into things I requested if I could leave the trolley at the exit. Well I wish I never asked I was greated buy a female Victor meldue. She was rude, abrupt, and plain right arrogant, No wonder this place is always empty over priced and rude staff to boot.

Went here with my mum and sister and were served in the cafe by some very hard working, smiley staff. We were advised of a little wait for food because they were busy. Totally acceptable. Complete contrast to the rude woman asking for a refund for a toastie when she had no receipt, demanding to see a manager. When staff are busy, it's because they are BUSY, accept it or move on. Thank you to the staff working hard for us. Remember we are not out of the pandemic yet.

Cold, pricey and the wait for a coffee was ridiculously long. One coffee was Luke warm before the other was made and the service poor. The only saving grace was the young lad out front who was friendly and helpful.

Difficult to find a better garden centre than this one

Friendly service, good range of plants and sundries, clean loos, convenient parking. On a recent visit my mother and I both ordered quiche in the cafe. We both found lumps of ice in the centre, which spoilt our meal, so I don't recommend eating there.

We stopped in for coffee but, for the second time the coffee machine was out of order, we tried the tea and scones instead, very nice

So many plants to choose from and I have so little garden to plant them in!

Visited yesterday when it was moderately busy. It took 5 minutes in a queue of 2 to place order for 2 teas and 2 toastie sandwiches. We sat with our cups of tea and waited 50 minutes for the food to arrive. 1 couple ahead of us asked for their money back and another table of 3 stood up to leave when their food arrived after a 55 minute wait. The people on the next table had their food in a reasonable time but didn't have any forks. They ate their cold food with their tea spoons after waiting 20 minutes. Having said all this, the coffee shop was clean and the food was good when it eventually arrived. The staff were trying their best but were out of their depth

This garden centre is well stocked with all the product you would want from a garden centre a wide range of bedding plants fruit trees and shrubs of all kinds garden lights and ornaments bird feeders and garden furniture pond supply hose components seeds and much more it also has a very nice cafe on site

Good Choice, reasonable prices.

Went here for dinner, ordered 2 "toasties" 1 was a little toasted, the other was like a sandwich, so I took it back, but when they gave it back to me, there was hardly any improvement and the filling was still COLD. only coffee ☕ available was filter (very strong) and long waiting times for: being served, and having your food delivered, then having to wait again for it to be "toasted" again. Will NOT be returning. They have lost my custom.

Lovely little cafe, good team, and they understand and provide for those of us who are gluten free. And what is more they give us the choice of more than one thing! How enlightened. Will go back again. Thank you Been back today for a good gluten free breakfast. Great stuff!

My local Garden centre is in Iron Acton and I needed to buy some plants, so I thought I'd have a breakfast at the same time. The Garden Centre has a Cafe but I usually avoid these places. They aren't really 'proper Cafes, they tend cater for older people who fancy a 'slice of cake and a coffee' after buying a few bedding plants. They dont really offer a huge Fry up with all the trimmings, so the Full English Breakfast tends to be a bit half hearted. Not the sort of breakfast to fill up a hungry HGV driver or a builder who has been on site all morning. The Cafe is un-imaginatively called the Garden Cafe. It looked clean and welcoming and felt warm given the wind outside, though at 11 in the morning it was almost empty (by the time we left it had filled up considerably). I ordered a Tea (£1.90) which came in a small pot and held two cups and a Flat White (£2.50) which was very good. I explained we were waiting for company so would be ordering Breakfast later. It was extremely difficult to hear the server who was stood behind a Perspex screen and was wearing a face mask . The rest of our party joined us and after looking at the' basic' options available on the menu, I went back to the counter to order. However, when I tried to order three breakfasts (£5.50) and a Bacon sandwich (£4) I was told we couldn't as it was 1134 and they stopped selling Breakfast at 1130. Why didn't they tell me that when I ordered the drinks? However, after some discussion they agreed we could order breakfast but it would take a while as they would have to cook the Bacon and Sausage from scratch ! We were happy to agree. We tried to access their Wifi but when we had logged on it was too slow and too weak for us to use Instagram. When the breakfast came it was a bit disappointing. (Full report can be found on my Blog site). It was, as I had feared, a bit of a token effort. To start with the ingredients weren't great quality. A commercial Sausage (there are some amazing artisan products available locally) which was under cooked, tinned Mushrooms cooked to a mush. The egg was over cooked. The Hash Brown was reasonable though not very crispy and why serve 'half a pot' of baked beans, they are cheap as chips? The toast came on the same plate with a pat of butter that had started to melt and wasn't enough to spread on both slices of toast. The bacon was fine and the Granary bread made good toast but really, they missed the mark on every level. Overall, this was a very disappointing breakfast (even though it was cheap) but it didn't need to be. Source some good ingredients, cook them well, present them nicely and people will come. (You only have to look half a mile down the road to see the proof). Sorry guys, I wont be coming back again any time soon, unless I need more Dahlias?

A small but well stocked garden centre. I like the fact that it has stayed focussed on products for the garden. Some garden centres in the area seem to have have turned into gift shops. It also has a very good range of seeds and house plants too.

Always lovely plants and served by lovely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Nice to have a browse around the shop.😊. Wasn’t so keen on the cafe visit. Leek and potato soup was orange and spicy 🤷‍♀️ Friend and I Would normally have cake too. Liked the look of the apple pie (£3) didn’t like to have to pay 50p extra each (£1) to warm it up for approx 30 seconds in the microwave🤔. Would have presumed with custard, would that have been charged to warm up too?? Had cake elsewhere. Sorry.

love this place. .. got all our plants from here and our fish /food from the Tropical shop located through the store . all staff are friendly and polite .. the storeb is well stocked with gifts and at present Xmas lights /decorations and to finish off your visit a lovely cup of coffee cake or snack in Cafe. well-worth a visit.

Great little garden centre with wonderful gifts

First time visit. Very clean tidy cafe with pleasant helpful staff. A good choice of food, snacks to more substantial eating. Also a good range of hot and cold drinks at competitive prices. I went for the Festive Turkey sandwich on brown which arrived with a good filling of turkey plus stuffing and Cranberry sauce all warm accompanied by crisps and a small salad. All for 5.50. An absolute bargain. I whole heartedly recommend this gem of a place and will broadcast to friends and colleagues. I will be bac Many thanks.
