Long time waiting for basic order, order screen in the wrong place so everyone stands by the desk.

Fast food it wasn't and I swear the burgers are getting smaller!

It's what you expect for a fast food place. Nice food, slow service

Hot chocolate machine always off, McFlurry always unavailable, the place is a joke.

Order took 15 mins for nothing special

Really impressed with this place! The store was clean and well laid out, making it easy to find what I needed. Staff were friendly and professional, and the overall experience was smooth from start to finish. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to others.

Quality of food is always decent, availability of milkshakes however can be problematic. Service can be very slow at peak times causing queues out onto the road from the drive-thru, and long waits inside

I want to 5 star to this lovely lady carol I was there today as me and Friday both have learning disabilities. She was good with my friend who a bit anxious. She made him feel comfortable in mcdonald's and once of nice staff there Give her pay rise she deserves it

It's McD's, you know what the food is. But this one is pretty bad compared to others in the chain. There only appears to be 2 bays for carpark app orders, the configuration of the drive through is bad, and the layout inside is cramped - with collection window, WC, bins, napkin etc counter all being in the same small area. The building is also just a bit nasty. I was hoping this would improve after the renovations in 2024, but it honestly felt like absolutely nothing changed. For some reason, app orders barely ever work at this location either.

The food could have been served quicker, had to wait for 15 minutes, a bit disappointed

Been excellent for several years but it has lost its reliability as I think the food is not to the past standard just being honest as a regular customer.

Initially, I ordered a meal and noticed a hair in my carton of French fries. It really grossed me out and made me question their cleanliness. Next, I tried the chicken mayo with bacon, and it had a strong onion flavour, even though there were no onions in it. I suspect this might be because the ingredients like lettuce, onions, and tomatoes are too close together when they’re being prepared for the burger. It was definitely not a pleasant experience. I thought about not returning to eat there, but I wouldn’t mind stopping by for just a coffee.

Very abismol establishment...kids throwing coins at the staff...got my order wrong 3 TIMES..saw a man disapear into the bathroom and never return....very strange place...wont not go again.. 🤦‍♀️

Very hard seats. All wooden. Why are McDonalds doing this in all their restaurants in the Bristol Area. Due to my daughter ordering in the Filton restaurant. The order went through to Emerson Green. The Filton restaurant would not help her out, refusing to give her a replacement meal free of charge. My daughter has raised the issue to the head office, and she will get a refund in a week to 10 days.

Not sure why they bother asking what dips you want with your food as I’ve not been given any in months

Hit and miss this McDonald's.but breakfast was good this morning (sunday) and saver by two super friendly members of staff.

Forgot 4x items of our order and all 3x side salads had a token amount of tomato and cucumber (one piece each) but an absolute tonne of red onion. Certainly won’t be paying a return visit (apart from the breakfast menu)…… Yate, Uk.

Ordered for delivery and yet again they don't put the whole order in the delivery in Yate. They clearly don't check the order before giving it to the delivery driver.

Alway no one work,everytime wait over half hour

Although it was quite busy the wait was approx 10 minutes and the staff were pleasant and helpful

Steady McDonald’s food! But the standout for my visit was a lovely chap who was cleaning tables and ensuring the environment was tidy and fresh. He was also very sweet with all customers coming in and very politely chatted. It made such a difference and made me smile, I didn’t catch his name, but this was about 5:30 on Monday 13th of Jan.

Always fairly busy decent service

I order quite a lot from this macdonalds and usually it's been pretty good. Especially as I have it delivered. However the past month has been absolutely shocking that whoever packs the order needs to learn how to read the order screens. I only order 4 items and the last 3 times I have ordered they've forgotten the biggest item (sharebox) which i then get sent in circles and told to hold for 1 hr to the number they request you to call to then get nowhere. All because someone can't check 4 items? Please sort it out.

Out of all the McDonald's I have visited the Yate store is by far the best, staff really friendly and polite, restaurant was very clean, little wait, and food was fresh and hot

Delivered to table using app. Super hot, never had McDonalds so fresh before it was so nice. Burger not greasy and good amount of ice cream in galaxy mcflurry. Best McD's I've had in years

Nice decour does not hide the dreadful wait times for people coming in. Deliveroo just swarm this place so you have to wait, and wait and wait...

I really do not think this establishment has grasped the meaning of fast food. A 25 minute wait for a luke warm beef flavoured mudflap, encased in a bun that looked liked it had been warmed between fat persons buttucks. Save your money folks.

Once a typical easy experience fast food place now tiresome with traffic jams caused by the location not suitable for the added drive thru a few years ago and now crazy wait times due to the over populated area’s excessive order for home delivery. I like a McDs but not this one any more.

What a disaster. A refurb and already much less leaking, more pouring it through and straight onto the floor no less. An accident and an injury claim waiting to happen. Understaffed and way too busy, waiting nearly 40 mins for our order is not really on....

30 minute wait for food. The service was very slow, and employees didn't seem interested.

Awful. me and my misses ordered food and we noticed one of our items was wrong so I asked a Nigerian lady if she could sort it out for us unfortunately she couldn’t understand a word I was saying just staring at me she then disappeared for 15 mins with my food on the side getting cold. They was walking past me with other orders, so I spoke to a girl with red hair who was very helpful she replaced what was cold and sorted out our meal all this over a small burger complete joke a kid next to me was asking for refund because he was waiting for 25 mins for his order and was only being ignored this place was better before the grand opening just look at the reviews speaks for its self. I’m sat here now and theres people in this cheque when I came in they’ve been here waiting for around 35 mins

I come into McDonald's Yate around about twice a month, ordering the same thing. The fries are always crispy, evenly salted and super tasty. The McPlant is wonderful, probably my favourite food item on the menu! I visited today after work at around 1pm (18/11/24) and sat down to eat my food. It was piping hot and served much faster than it was a month or so ago. The renovations done to the building have made it so much more comfortable and quick to order! I wanted to point out how hard-working one of the staff members was today. A young chap was sweeping the floor and taking care of the tables when people had left. Wore his usual uniform with the cap and a black maybe bomber-style jacket. Had brown mid-length curly/wavy hair. Didn't catch his name as I couldn't see a badge, but I was honestly so impressed with his efficiency, so I hope that this can be passed on to his management and he can get the praise he deserves! He was so sweet and friendly too, helping me to figure out how to leave a review. Unfortunately, I was not able to leave a review with the code on my reciept as it printed out blank! That's why I've come to Google. Overall, I would always recommend McDonald's Yate, as it is the best McDonald's in Bristol!!! 🙌

25 minutes in the queue (drive-thru) and got cold food

Honestly the worst eating experience I have ever encountered waited 1hr 40 mins for cold food and half an order some computer system issue apparently where they could serve endless amounts of cars and delivery and ignore all the walk in customers in front of them when I finally got my food it was missing 3 burgers.

Waiting in the drive thru since before 10:30 for a breakfast, only to be told they are no longer serving it as it’s past 11. I have been to some pretty terrible McDonald’s restaurants, including one in India but Yate has got to be by far the worst. Don’t waste your time as I certainly won’t be again👍

This store seems to have an issue with missing items off delivery's and takeaways. This has now happened a couple of times with both services.

Big ol' NOPE full of kids throwing stuff around, vaping in the loo and staff unable to do anything about it. And the sauce tasted of mainly vinegar.

Getting worse, poor quality food,why now are the table cleaners preaching to the younger customer about gambling, drugs and such?

We did an order on the McDonalds app to collect. Part of our order was mossing that we didn't notice until we got back home. Had yo drive all the way back to say and get it . Thankfully, there was no problem with this, though no apology for our inconvenience

To be honest some times i eat ok some times the food is bad.. specially the bacon in side the burger disgusting!!

Incredibly dirty, there was nothing in the burger we ordered except a cutlet and a slice of cheese. I returned it, the staff was surprised, apparently such negligence is standard here. I guess it's better to go to KFC.

Ordered many times muffin-jam and never received the jam . Paid £2.50 for a muffin. They never care about the order. Every time they will forget something, useless staff. And now you can't even contact McDonald's ffs

Doesn't matter if you order a delivery or use the drive through. This yate branch never gets the order right. Always missing something, and no one gives a dam. You just get told to call customer services, who can only refund you, not rectify the missing food! Never mind the kids are missing their meal!!! I'm not one for negative reviews but this store has messed up too many times to not say something! Update.. it feels as though the drive through has improved!

Typical McDonald's, staff friendly and polite. Food as expected, always have to wait as just want plain cheese burgers, not sure why, you would think it would be quicker mmm

Got my usual breakfast, Hashbrown and a toasted tea cake with Jam, They didn’t have any butter and didn’t squirt any of the usual butter they use, when asked for butter they didn’t understand us because the lead desk person wasn’t good at english and then said they were out. Really sad because that’s the best bit of the tea cake.

These no spark to McDonald's its just mundane corporate food. Can't put my finger exactly on it, but one is not a customer, one is just a number. Are the others any better? Probably not. There's just no spark, no excellence, nothing outstanding, just blank corporate numbing food.

McDonald's... Cheap and cheerful. Your not going for anything special. Fast food that kids love. I always leave feeling lacking. The rotating menu always leaves my favourites as a seasonal special. But the food is cheap and the kids love the toys so you can't hate it.

Its a maccies nothing really else to explain really but very fast and prompt you get exactly what you order and or was all warm which is a plus will visit again.

Under staffed and too much pressure on them regarding serving cars and Just eats. Feel for staff and needs looking at how the take away drivers pick up food and not just push past people in the queue. Again not blaming the staff just badly laid out store.

I was very disappointed with our order, as we went through the drive 🚗 thru. That part was great, but it was when we got back home that the food was luke warm and the distance from McDonald's to our house was about 1 mile. If we went there again, we would sit inside so we wouldn't have this problem, fingers crossed 🤞 XOXOX

I order for takeout. quite often there are omissions, confused orders and spilled products. the hygiene of the place is appalling. for this price so much

I would give a zero but not possible it cost 19 pound for 2 breakfast wraps the prices have gone up mental 10 pound delivery we had to pay the wraps came with mold inside of the egg and stuff on the wrap absolutely disgusting

Awful. If you are ordering via a delivery app your food will get to you cold every time. Not sure what the employees here do but it's dreadful. Luckily Deliveroo offer a refund if you report items as cold.

These guys always do a great service, they want customer satisfaction and even called me when I placed an order for delivery to check my order was correct, if they hadn’t I would’ve paid £8 for a patty in a box lol, most fast food places would’ve just served and not bothered knowing it was probably wrong. Yet again another order missing items, called and was given a number to call for Uber. Number was wrong and still trying to report. McDonald’s claim the fault is with Uber but Uber driver did not pack the food incorrectly. Rubbish service

This place is just what you can expect from a fast food restaurant. Average quality, average/impersonal service and fast paced atmosphere. The prices though have massively skyrocketed in this chain and portions have been made way smaller so I would personally not recommend it.

Standard McDonald's, only downside is it can be quite busy here. Parking is usually very difficult due to lots of cars. I drive a van and occasionally I cannot find any spaces that I can fit into.

Tables are dirty and staff don't clean then when people have left.

Typical mcdonalds, and standard food. The place was extremely busy and absolutely filthy. Food and drink had been spilled on the floor and little had been done to clean it up. I appreciate that this is difficult during peak times but cleanliness in a food and drink environment is paramount.

Food was cold and the waiting times was ridiculous

This is the 3rd time in a row I've had my order and its been wrong cold or I've had trouble with the app getting to be a pain now granted I do get a reply after I've emailed them eventually but please just get it right the first time and sort the app out?

To long a wait especially with young children to the extent of somebody fainting.
