Costa Coffee in South Gloucestershire

Small cosy service station, good for a quick pit stop en-route to Cardiff.

Great coffee also staff are brilliant, reason not five stars as the actual service station is getting very old now. But it was easy free parking with great disabled access so it's all good. Seating in Costa was comfy and clean also.

This must be the worst run costa in the country. Staff not communicating, the shop manager complaining out loud and snapping and the kids, 20min wait for two hot drinks, counter disgusting, staff returning from break not washing hands, half the orders incorrect and needed redoing. Absolute shambles.

Cup of cappuccino was half after mixing.

Came in at 8 o clock on a Tuesday night and they told me the blenders were off so couldn’t provide me any cold drink despite it saying on the sign outside their seating area that it doesn’t shut till 11

Coffee coffee ☕️ but it wasn’t what we have expected , bitter coffee taste although such a perfect place to stop before you get into Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿, clean toilets and clean dining area with plenty of seating.

Great service and we had some lovely toasted cheese and ham sandwiches and great flat while. Very small services but it all works!

Slowest service ever… 10 minutes watching a guy on his own faff about with a blender

I've heard it said that a company survives because of its staff... this is very true of this Costa. The POS card machine had failed, and the staff dealt with it so very well. Lovely chatty people who made the experience worthwhile. The coffee was the usual good standard Costa.... and the cinnamon bun was a perfect accompaniment.

Dean and his staff are amazing. I always have a laugh with them and a chitchat if they have time. Otherwise, it's just a quick hi and go. Coffee is always good ,food varies to your taste buds. As for people saying about prices , it's a costa so what did they expect. The team don't make the prices they just serve and smile. Keep up the good work all.

It was a services. We walked in after walking across the Severn bridge. Would have been nice to have a short cut in. We only had coffee.

Shocking £8 for 2 bacon rollssauce was extra. Absolute rip off

I am not sure they can all this a service station. Every time I attempt to call into Costa to get a drink its closed. Yesterday commuting and it was a busy M48 so stopped off for a brief rest and drink… closed. Spoke to the 3 staff there that were cleaning and asked “its 18:25 why are you closed when the website states 10pm” Their reply was “we dont have any staff”. Uhh there are 3 of you.. got a blank stare. Can I also comment there was no where to sit when this is shut. How can this justify as a service station when you cant even rest or refresh. WHS smith and burger king are never shut.. always costa.. Dont waste your time stopping there.

I wouldnt bother - its probably closed despite what the website says. I am a regular visitor and sick of seeing signs like this

Breakfast wrap was awful, they offered to heat it, took a long time and yet the sausages in the wrap were freezing😂 and the bacon was more bacon-less fat. Staff were a tad useless, only one person that seemed to know what he was doing and the poor couple infront of us had their order served when it was only half done.

7.30am on a Saturday and closed despite website saying opens at 7am? Disappointing

Dreadful. Drinks made really badly and missing ingredients and food is stale. The staff look about 16 and don't give a * **

Just need to learn to listen to what we order. Wanted a large vanilla cappuccino. Got a normal cappuccino, no vanilla. Said yes to chocolate sprinkles twice and still didn't get any. I would be better of getting my drinks out of the express machine's

Popped into Costa coffee at the services at severn view this evening on the way to work to pick up a good to go magic bag the staff were very friendly and even though it was a very quick visit to pick up the magic bag and as its Christmas/new year I wanted to give the staff a tip so I asked if they had a tip jar I could put something in, I was gobsmacked with the answer that they were not allowed to accept tips and could get into trouble with bosses if they accepted one . Come on Costa coffee bosses wake up and smell the coffee ( excuse the pun ) but if I receive good service I like to reward good service or are you paying them too much wages they don't need to receive tips

Always seems to be closed whenever we try to go in on a Friday evening.

I wish I had a photo of the breakfast wrap that was bought for me to put up on here. Not nice at all and my work colleague felt the same way. If you do buy one open it before eating it.

Cant beat a costa coffee but nice to help smaller cafes in the area so dont always go here take it in turns

Fab coffee today. A simple flat white, but made with care. Two ladies serving and both giving very good customer care. The only reason I did not give a 5 was due to the table i sat by being rather sticky and a lot of cake crumbs. I moved to another table and that was a little better. I may have just missed a rush, but I still enjoyed my superb coffee.

Nice place a tad expensive but nice.

What an absolutely wonderful place. My experience was made so special by worker Sarah. Just pure class waitressing. My god Costa are really making the effort to employ good people.

Quick and easy costa with nice staff

Friendly place, bit basic inside but that's ok. Coffee was very weak, they must be economising with the coffee beans ☺

For a service Costa this is definitely a good one. The people are friendly service is quick and efficient and coffee is good and hot.
