Awful - Over an hour to be delivered. Food was ordered at 18:03 but wasn't delivered until 19:10 - ice cold food, tracking system didn't display correct information, tried to call 5 minutes after it was actually delivered to be met with no answer 20 calls and 25 minutes later still no answer

Staff just stood around gossiping my order was ready and sat on the shelf for 5 minutes before staff realised to give it to me if they wasn't busy gossiping maybe this wouldn't happen

Undercooked mess. Ordered a stuffed crust half and half and half of the pizza had no base with most of it undercooked. Don’t bother with the dough balls either, they’re just pizza crust. Only positive is (the 1 star) is the delivery drivers are hard working and polite. Overall, I wouldn’t bother with Papa Johns Yate.

Never received the Ben & Jerry’s ice cream ordered online neither the 2nd dip that I paid extra for. And this is the bacon garlic bread with only 4 tiny pieces of bacon (half of it don’t even have any). A real joke, I will never order from there again.

WOW...WOW...WOW All I can say is that I loved our pizza tonight, it's the best pizza ever that I've ever had and definitely will be placing another order in the future Thanks for all your help XOXOX

Shocking. Got there and they said they don't do in person orders so I had to sit in the waiting area and order online. I get why some places do this. BUT it would seem the reason they do this is to swindle people into accidently sign up to a £15 subscription service. Also it took ages to just make one margarita pizza (there were no other orders or deliveries on the board). Pizza was nice but doesn't make up for them trying to screw people over.

Don't order anything from here! Placed order, app said it had been delivered but no delivery ever arrived. The 'store manager' was no help at all and stated they couldn't give any refunds until their Manager was back in.....in 3 days time! But quick enough to take money up front, sounds like a company going under to me.

Walked in to Yate store and was waiting for around 10 minutes before I was told they where closed. They door was open so why wasn't it locked all this before they actually closed at 10. Went maccy D ln instead which is right next door

The 11pm closing is a lie, they close before then ilas i tried to order at 10:40pm. Ive worked at a pizzeria before and know it would take 10-15 minutes to make a pizza so it would be made before 11pm. Awful just go to dominoes who actually are open

We got the gluten free pizza the base was ok but the pizza was bland with not enough toppings.

The last couple of times I've ordered from them the food took an hour to get to me. Half of that time was from dispatch. This is despite the fact I live in the same town. The food came and was lukewarm at best. Really wasn't worth the price I paid for it.

Fantastic pizza's always top notch we've always enjoyed having Papa John's Pizza's and we've always enjoyed every mouthful whilst watching a movie and I always have few bottles of coke - we're very, very happy with Papa John's good customer service I highly recommend them 10/10

Unfortunately my dinner had been 'wrapping up' in the restaurant for over an hour and a half until they finally closed. Had been calling them twice while they were still open, no answer. Now I'm left with no food because everything is closed. Never buying from this place again!

I had a bad experience with an Uber driver last night and wasn't sure what to do so I called papa John's as this was where my order came from. Even though it had nothing to do with them, the man I spoke with with extremely empathetic and kind. He gave me a credit on my account despite them not getting any money back. He was sincere and so lovely! Thank you for the excellent service.

Pretty good pizza, toppings all taste fresh. Very filling so well worth the money, wished there were better bundle deals or smaller deals because of the amount of waste.

Called up and made a simple request, ‘please swap one dip with another’ The order came with no dips at all. I can’t think of a more basic request to receive over the phone and someone still managed to screw it up. Just put the option to change dips on the app as clearly humans aren’t capable of such basic requests, my meal wasn’t as nice and I’m £1 down. Not good enough

The past couple of pizzas I’ve bought here in the last few weeks have been quite bad, burnt, not greatly prepared, long wait for delivery. I’ll stick with dominos from now on.

Always deliver on time and nice and hot. Nosmally papa johns isnt that nice but from this store its always beautiful

Just had 2 rubbish pizzas. Toppings all over the place and undercooked. I'll stick to domino's in future.

Food is really great unfortunately we waited 2 hours for our food as the wrong address was noted and the original delivery address falsely accepted our order.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Kept waiting for 2 hours to be told the driver couldn't ring, he could have walked from the back of the house to the front and knocked the front door. We were in the front room. 2 And a half hours later still no pizza, told me had just left. The shop is less than 1 mile from my house. It's now another half an hour. Seriously the service is absolutely pathetic

First time at this joint. Pretty good. Not perfect but not bad. Staff are friendly but not 100% on the same planet. lol

Better than domino's, their pizza is bigger and much more tastier, also their delivery guys are always very friendly and always arrive on time

Meat feast pizza very nice. Wedges poor quality with some rotten bits. Speedy service but not the best value for money food.

Been 3 times now has been OK price is reasonable compared to other places. Service and delivery was good 8 out of 10 I wud say pizza was big for 12.99 thanks.

Unidentified pizza it was that bad

Initial estimate of an hour and a half for delivery wasn't great but wanted to try it out. It was still 20 minutes late, although marked as delivered on Just Eat app on time. Only saving grace is that the pizza was pretty good.

Bristol Yate branch when they first opened the delivery times were not good. Now they are absolutely fantastic. Well done great job thank you far better than dominoes

Always delivered by a friendly member of their team. Quick service. The new marmite scrolls are to die for, the pizzas are so much nicer than the leading competitor. The giant cookie is incredible! Looking forward to trying more!

Absolutely horrible customer service. The driver tried to deliver to the wrong house (a half hour late) and instead of calling us to get help to find our address they said our only option was to collect. When I tried to explain this was our pizza to make up for a previous mistake already they had made on a past order, the guy on the phone just hung up on me. We now do not have our order and will never purchase from Papa John’s again.

I have given one star, purely on the fact that I can't give a 0 score. I walked into the store today and stood there waiting to be served, one guy looked at me and then started to fold boxes with his back to me. Not so much as a hi. The other guy who was making pizza, also just continued to work as if I was a ghost. I stood there for several minutes with both members of staff completely ignoring the fact that I was there. I walked out the store and did not buy pizza. Great customer service guys well done.

Ordered a bbq chicken pizza. Got a tomato pizza with 5 bits of chicken on. Paid extra for pineapple. Got 7 bits of pineapple. Not even one piece per slice. Will not order from here again.

I have ordered food for delivery from here before on many occasions but usually it is missing something or it's late. So then I just went and collected it instead. Now the staff are usually polite so that's a good point but unfortunately I have stood waiting for my pizza to be made several times and then either a red convertible car comes pulling up to the store front with music blazingly loud or it is a green ford car that has loud music and wheel spinning away from the store and unfortunately these people are staff members who deliver the pizza so for that they lose a point.

Not very happy waited over 1hour to find out that they miss parts of the order off on delivery. phones up to be told that they would send the missing food out we are still waiting for it over a hour now what a joke !!!!

Sound place. No eat in or toilets or whatever. Small little store but very tidy :)

Pizzas are going down hill. Deliveries are getting longer and longer too. Says its delivered, even when its not. App and website are full of bugs and sometimes gone without because payment options mess around!! Not a brilliant service.

This Papa John's pizza has very fast service and like all Papa John's the pizza is of good quality. I've noticed that the place doesn't draw much attention and have not seen many people go in there since it opened.

Took an hour and 30 minutes to deliver!! was not informed of any delay by the store and pizza was also cold when it finally got here. Terrible service, will not be using again!

Ordered two pizzas and sides via the website at 7pm this evening for delivery. By ten past 8 these had still not arrived (even with us being within walking distance from the store). My husband called for an update, to be immediately asked to hold while the staff member spoke to a manager. When the individual came back on the phone to say that the pizza had only just left! My husband asked to speak to the manager and the staff member attempted to deter this request. He eventually was passed to the manager after having to repeatedly insist. My husband then relayed to the manager his frustrations about having to wait this long for our food when we lived within walking distance, to which he responded with vague excuse about being busy. It was suggested to the manager that it is only common courtesy to contact customers to manage their expectations and let them know of their delays, however the manager responded “well it probably wasn’t busy when the order was initially made”. No excuse! As way of apology the manager offered my husband store credit, however he refused this saying that we would never use Papa Johns again as we have always had much better service from Amicos or even Dominos at which point the manager then hung up on my husband!! The food eventually arrived 5 mins later and was lukewarm. In a nutshell I have the following to say about this store; Unreasonably slow delivery times, Rude staff and cold food. Avoid!

Brilliant service, Tom was very helpfull and full of charisma even whilst working on Christmas Eve Food was great and would definitely recommend to anyone.

The pizza is average. Two awful things tho; the dipping sauce is disgusting! Also deep pan crust smells and tastes awful.

Waste of time don't bother rang them on my day time phone they asked me for a contact number gave them my personal number I waited for 2 hours no one came to the door rang them back they said they tried ringing me but the number I rang on not my contact number I gave them but unfortunately it was my mistake yeah it was my honest mistake ordering from a bunch of cowboys

Very poor experience, different staff members say different wait times for collection, then get your name wrong so have no idea where your order is! Im aware they have only just opened but this is very poor.

Great food however even though we ordered online and were told 30 minutes we ended waiting 1 hour 20 minutes and there were other people who were waiting up to 2 hours, we understand that they only opened this week and were going to be busy however we find this wait time unacceptable, as they were still taking more orders even though they were telling everyone that the wait time was due to too many orders, I've had to recommend that my friends and family don't order from this branch for 2 weeks when the mcdonalds next door is scheduled to reopen, when we first arrived to pick up the order the man we spoke to first time didn't seem apologetic even though as he was saying sorry all the time as (I've worked in retail for 13 years I can tell when someone is not being sincere) he didn't even check to see if our order was ready he just said we were going to have to wait 30 minutes, The woman we spoke to after the first 30 minutes was much more apologetic and actually went to check the order and even tried to move our order up the queue even though she was dealing with all the phone complaints and getting shouted at by other customers (she even thanked me for not shouting at her), in the end while the food was good the wait time was much to long and we don't feel 'sorry we've just opened' is an acceptable excuse
