Sainsbury's Café in South Gloucestershire

The price was somewhat acceptable, but the place was not clean at all. The spoons were dirty, the forks and knives were dirty as well, and the tables were dirty. The place in general was not clean and indicated poor hygiene.

No fault of the person serving in the cafe as she was on her own and clearly stressed , no notice to inform early closure off cafe and the short staffing situation, waiting for 25 mins in line , a lot of food not available, again no notice or anything to inform people waiting as this (could have saved some waiting ) seen a lot of staff

After a busy shop I settled down to enjoy a simple lunch of egg & chips and a mug of tea! I was served quickly but the chips were cold! A member of staff apologised and brought me another meal with a smaller portion of chips that were marginally warmer and an undercooked egg( white watery). Chips should be freshly cooked and very hot. It’s not much to ask….. C’mon Sainsbury’s pull your Christmas socks up…

Nice café inside Sainsbury's. Always good service with food at reasonable prices. Sometimes lately their coffee machines are on the blink but overall a great stop off for something to eat or just a cuppa. Easy parking outside and lots of other shops in the area.

The food is lovely, however the cutlery I have found on numerous occasions to be very unclean. Disgusting hygiene!!!!

Ordered an all day breakfast and it was cold .it had clearly been sat around for hours and they just reheated.the only way I cat describe the egg yolk was crystallised. Beans tasted 3 days old the hash brown tasted like gone off oil and it was all cold !!! Do not waste your time going here as it is absolutely horrible

Great Cafe, very busy but the wait to place the order was still quick and was still easy to find a clean table. Had only been sat for a minute and the breakfast arrived. Breakfast was pleasant as was my latte. There was constantly someone clearing tables. Busy cafe but very well run, the best supermarket cafe I have been in by far

The chips were disgusting half weren’t even cooked and the man across the way complained and was told there was nothing they can do. I was there 20 min and 6 people sent their meals back. Avoid

We used to go to the cafe in the Emersons Green store before Covid, when it sold a good choice of excellent quality food for a reasonable price. But now the main meal offer is much more limited, the cafe closes early and the quality of the food is very poor. Today I had fish and chips, this used to be cod with crispy batter of the same quality as a good fish and chip shop, but today I was served with fish similar to a large fish finger with soggy batter and a small portion of unappetising chips. My wife had ham, egg and chips with thin, 'plastic' processed ham. The excellent currys previously sold here are now no longer on the menu. Very disappointing.

Handy for a quick bite while shopping. Prices are very reasonable.

Excellent cl clean, tidy, will return

Went there for a lunchtime snack. Fancied a bottle of water with my meal.....sorry, no water (it's a supermarket) go get some. Jacket potato and prawns. Sorry no prawns. Ok, I'll have tuna. You guessed it. So cheese it is. I've stood in the queue at the till, for about ten minutes while the staff mess around between taking money and making coffees. The whole thing is a shambles. It must be the easiest job going to run a cafe next to an endless supply of customers and raw materials, so how do they get it so wrong. Oh yes and additionally, when we got to our seat, it was filthy, with the floor covered in chips and pushed up cake, and the seats smeared with sauce or something. Appalling place

Food is okay but a little on the expensive side for what it is. Gave 1 star score because of service. Average age of employees must be under 20 and none of them know what they are supposed to be doing. Massive queue, slow service, they get orders wrong. Tables are sticky and most of them have piles of trays and dishes left from previous guests. Meanwhile i was watching three of them happily chatting away behind the counter...

Dirty cutlery, Luke warm cottage pie that looked nothing like the picture on the menu , I complained but nothing happened, young inexperienced staff dont think I will be going back anytime soon😕

Greasy dire breakfast undercooked bacon semi raw sausage cold beans AVOID

Ordered a sausage baguette, very early in the morning. Baguettes weren't ready yet, so they got a baguette from the supermarket shelf and asked if that would be OK. I was more than happy with my fantastic crusty sausage baguette with brown sauce and a coffee. Thanks!

The menu was lovely before they changed it, completely different now (The new menu is not even nice)
