Absolutely awful to be honest , there were a few people not many . Many tables had not been cleared and there was so much food on the floor. My husband and I had pizzas which were 6.50 , I thought ok that’s fine , well they were tasteless , dry , tough bits of cardboard! The chips were nuclear hot but not cooked inside . Will definitely not be returning.

Actually shocking how bad this place is, they've whacked the prices up so you're paying £7-8 for a burger or pizza, but the food is absolutely horrific. Pizza was clearly just a £1 Asda basics one from the freezer aisle, halloumi was so overcooked it was basically charcoal and the beef burger was so hard we couldn't even cut it with a knife. We're not ones to complain usually but this was so awful we had to say something.

The sausage is disgusting, the waiting time is an hour. I do not recommend

Sales assistant was lovely all good manner. Breakfast was lower then basic, my 14 year would have done better cooking the breakfast. We then had to contend with flashing photography the whole time we were there, someone who was taking pictures of every meal on you menu, and what was being brought out to be photograph really needs to pick up a food filter. Will never eat there again.

Rubbish "cafe". Always running out of food early on in the day. Run by staff who are rude and impatient. Tables covered in dirty plates. Staff don't care. Coffee was cold and certainly did not taste like coffee. The smell of sewage is disgusting. How Asda can leave it like that for so long with food in the building is beyond words. If you can't run the cafe then close it down. I left a review about a year ago and got a rude response. Just goes to show what kind of people they are. Avoid!!!

The staff are always friendly Excellent customer service. Visited Monday 26th February 2024. The cafe was freezing 🥶 It's not the cafe's fault due to heating, it's down to Asda Management. The cafe had loads of old people sat in, all freezing cold. This is not acceptable. Shame on Asda management

Wish we'd read the reviews before popping in here before shopping. I had a dry stale toasted tea cake, my husband had a regular breakfast - raw egg yolk, half a dry old-looking mushroom, bacon like cardboard, cold beans, shrivelled overcooked sausage. Young lady serving was the only positive. Won't be coming back.

Was totally dead in here and I can see why! Only 5 covers on a Saturday between 15:30 to 16:00. I attended with my wife and two teenage children. We didn't mind waiting for the food as we were told it was cooked fresh and the pizza was good and fresh BUT.... My kids took one look at the fries, (shriveled brown chips) that were served, they tasted over cooked or had been sat a while or something, they were just not good.... I returned them immediately and did not take a photo of the chips but looking around the room afterwards, it seemed all chips were suffering with the same neglect. I was polite and spoke to the lady with tattoos on her arm called shannon. Shannon told me they were using Asda smart price chips instead of quality fries... She refused to cook us fresh fries/chips and said if i wanted fresh fries I would need to purchase new ones... I was polite and said I will not be paying for more of the same as there was no way my kids would have eaten them like that and I'd like a refund. Shannon then seemed to be very defensive and argued that there was nothing wrong with them and that was they were always a dark brown colour. Shannon seemed reluctant to refund, she told me to stand 4 steps to the right so she could refund me, as I had paid cash this seemed all a little petty. She then handed my refund like a snotty teenager and turned away without an oppology. The décor was bright and fresh but considering the amount of customers, the tables were dirty, empty plates on several tables and several other tables that were not wiped as can be seen in the photos. The cutlery return trolly had not been collected. My experience was not great, after the poor customer service by Shannon I won't be returning any time soon.

Do not waste your time. The £1 kids meal offer might tempt you, but the food is revolting. Ordered two cheese burgers and chips, I know it's a cafe inside and asda, but they were vile. Mushy burger meat inside a floured scotch bap with un-melted slab of cheese on top, no salad or sauce in there. Burgers are relatively inexpensive to jazz up so I was shocked. The chips were flavourless and limp.

Kids meal for a £1 was ok, clearly making money back from the adult meal. £7.25 for 6 small chips and half an over cooked battered chicken fillet pretending to be chicken strips

Short staffed. One young girl serving ten people plus on her own. I think management should get off their backsides in the offices and help out. Jess deserves a medal and pay rise. Annoying kids running around.

Stop serving hot food at 5pm I arrived 4 30 pm No fish and chips No pie and chips Had to have jacket potatoes out of microwave. 1 Can't help thinking staff didn't want you there . 2 Running out of fish / pies I thought I was in a asda cafe .... .

By far the worst 'cafe' serving Costa I have ever been to. At 2pm there was hot food other than chips, no cold selection, cold coffee remade 3 times to get a hot coffee and took an eternity to make. Save your money, buy a sandwich and coffee in store or better still actually go to a real Costa and not a wannabe Costa!

Here's how our visit went... Hi, please can I have the fish and chips? No fish Oh, ok can I have cheese burger and chips? No burgers Ok full English with a side of sweet potato fries. No sweet potato fries Like come on, you're supposed to offer some of your menu on a busy Sunday lunchtime. No wonder there's so many 1 star reviews. Get some supplies off the shelf in Asda for goodness sake. The chef was on the till and didn't have a clue what he was doing. AVOID

Appreciate they were short staffed this weekend, but that doesn't excuse the lethargic table cleaner. In the hour we were there done tables still hasn't been cleared, he was also serving food with no cleaning of hands between clearing tables and bringing out food.

Possibly the slowest cafe i’ve ever been to.

I think it’s best to shut this place down. No jacket potatoes (your in asda going buy them) Half the menu not available. Ran by kids. Tables full of dirt. Dirty. I would say get some management and sort this place out, but it’s so far gone your best to shut it down. I brought my mum here for coffee and she was traumatised.

Cappuccino with no chocolate ! When asked a member of staff the answer was "haven't got any !! " not good enough !

Probably the worst English breakfast I had in the last 9 years. Extremely dull, no taste, expensive for the quantity of food. I do not recommend at all!

I felt like I had to be begging the man to clean our space which was really dirty. (I Should of known from then not to eat in the cafe) my children complained of stomach ache after we left. Wasn’t very happy

After shopping wanted something to eat so thought we would try this cafe,not used it since the refurbushment. Found there were no snacks available after 11:30,why surely most people want snacks at sometime of the day. That said we ordered coffee and their allday breakfast,wish we hadn't. The coffee was lukewarm and the food with the exception of the sausages was almost cold so I guess the rest of the food was laid up while they waited for the sausages. The whole area is not very welcoming certainly nothing like it used to be.

After ordering food we waited an hour for it to be delivered. That's after we asked where it was. Other people were being served before us. Very poor service lucky to get 2 stars.
