Nicky... Absolutely disgraceful customer service skills! I work in retail.... If I had her customer service skills I wud be disgusted within myself and be grateful that I managed to even get employed???

This place gets worse, NOT for the first time NO ice cream of any description, How can a desert restaurant have no ice cream?? Not the 1st time and probably not the last!!

Friendly greeting. Efficient service. Had the strawberry waffle. Absolutely delicious. Staff checked all was ok. Fresh, tasty and looked amazing.

Staff smoking out side so you see them and smell them as you enter the building also wearing there uniform. Staff behind counter grunts at us and carry on what she's doing terrible attitude, we didn't feel welcome at all and frankly put us off our visit so we didn't even order I will never come back to this place

Visited this afternoon, there’s was a couple in front of us otherwise the place was empty, there was 11 staff members behind the counter singing dancing, maybe if they spent some of their time doing some work it wouldn’t of taken us 9 minutes to be served for an ice cream. Wouldn’t mind waiting that long if they were busy/ understaffed but to be stood there whilst they’re messing about is a little irritating. Went to sit outside and all the tables were filthy. Again, if they were busy or short staffed you’d understand. Just a bit of a poor experience and it’s quite expensive really for what you actually get.

Came in today for a take out, the lady who served me Nicki was lovely, friendly and very helpful, food and drinks were awesome, have visited before and always been happy with the food and service

If you are looking for some of the best deserts around, you just found them, they excel at making some of the tastiest deserts, and exquisite milk shakes, Large seating area like American Diner.

I would fill this box with sweat words if I could , been here a few times and never had a problem , obviously all new staff so assuming it’s been taken over , walked in grabbed a menu and one for my partner , to then be shouted at asking why I was taking so many menu’s, they had nothing in stock ! No ice cream no cakes , to be honest I don’t think they could be bothered to go out the back and get them .And the whole 15 min we where their all we herd was shouting , swearing and the staff members going for a fag every 2 mins. I would understand this behaviour if it was stacked in their and they where rushed off their feet , but we where the only ones in their ! And to top it off the order was wrong . That will be the last time I go there. Vile staff !!!

Taking our daughter out she was excited to get a mango bubble slush only to be disappointed there was 1. No mango flavoured and 2. No balls I mean that's like KFC having no chicken or McDonald's having no fries!!??

Visited Kaspa’s with my friends. Very friendly atmosphere! I had a waffle, my friend had ice cream, we both enjoyed it. The music they play is really enjoyable. Staff is really nice and helpful! They made sure everything is okay with our order, even though they were quite busy. Will be back soon! Thank you!

Desserts are absolutely lovely. We were unsure if we went up the till to Order or if it was table service. We were kind of waiting for confirmation. I think you need some music playing in the back ground to make the environment abit more entertaining. Overall lovely staff and desserts are gorgeous.

Went there to get some desserts with my family and I was really impressed. Excellent service, the girls worked super hard, they did a brilliant job! I had to wait 20 minutes, but they warned me and it was obvious as it was quite busy (it’s half term so understandable). Really enjoyed our desserts. Plus restaurant was really tidy and clean 🧼

...and I wouldn't return One of the staff was wearing a mask when showing us to the table, but the person who brought our food wasn't. Someone took our used menus and handed them straight to another table- no cleaning. Tables were dirty on the edges, ice cream machine still not working (according to another review, wasn't working on 22/8 either) Windows dirty, floors dirty, whole place needs a darn good clean. Won't be back for a while.

Three of us ate here on 22/08/20. There was just one lady (Kata) working on her own, she was doing everything! Cooking. Clearing tables and welcoming people in. Kata did a fantastic job, I just felt so sorry for her being on her own on a busy Saturday! The waffles were hot and delicious and she couldn’t have been more helpful. My only complaint (and this is aimed at the owner, not the staff) is that the “whippy ice cream” machine was not working and so you had to pay an additional £1.95 to have ice-cream with your waffle (even though it’s meant to come with ice-cream!).

Visited Kaspas many times, staff is super friendly, food is very nice (bit overpriced tbh). Tables and menus are clean and they have a hand sanitising section, which I think is very important during pandemic. 5/5, would definitely recommend a visit. 🍨 🧇 🥞

Booked a table today for a treat with kids and sister, it was quiet on arrival thankfully, but 30 mins later queue out the door.Food was ok- thankfully was 50% off otherwise pretty over priced!Waffle was almost cold when arrived at table, was supposed to have digestive and caramel sauce but had very small amount of digestive.Covid processes very disappointing- minimal social distancing, staff not in masks, no screens at tills.

I came in today with my family but have to say the staff aren’t too friendly. I ordered three waffles and drinks and was told that the whipped ice cream machine was broken so if I wanted ice cream on my waffle it would cost another £1.95 despite it coming with either cream or ice cream on the waffle. When I said it wasn’t really on to have to pay extra the girl serving me became very passive aggressive and said it’s not my fault. When she delivered our waffles to the table she was still pretty grumpy and my waffle that had the ice cream on (I paid the extra) she slid the plate at me. We drove from the other side of Bristol to have a treat but frankly I wish I’d stayed at home and waited for the ice cream man to come round. I gave a score of one only because I had to put it in. Won’t bother again.

Me and my friend took our children to kaspas (yate) to treat them as it was the 50% eat out help out on.we got welcomed at the door by a lovely young girl who said that it be half hour wait so we kindly waited at the window seat. Whilst we were waiting there we noticed how it was only 1 young girl in the shop on her own she had to welcome people in, make everyone’s orders which it was extremely busy plus clean the table and wash up it looked awful and felt sorry for her then her colleague came in on her day off to help out poor girls and I bet they are on minimum pay only!! When we evenly sat at our table, we ordered very quickly and for how busy they were our service was very quick plus the food was delicious.. them poor workers didn’t even have time to wash up we felt so sorry for them but we praised how well they did through it all they were fantastic but I personally think that the manager or owner needs to employ more staff and think of his staff wellbeing and not think of the profits so much!!

Huge selection of naughtiness. Huge plates of lovely food. The selection of ice cream is also great. Great place to go when you are tired of shopping or before going to cinema.

Came here midweek evening. There was 14 of us...we all really enjoyed our desserts. A little pricey but tastes delicious. The staff were great, a lovely evening had by all....

Visited yesterday for the family fun day, your magician was great with the little ones and my son loved his balloons. Was very busy as expected but the staff coped well while being friendly and serving quickly. The sundaes, waffles and slushes were really good but the Black Forrest cake was slightly dry. Will be back to try the crepes,

Popped in for dessert. 1st visit and not disappointed. We will be back. So many luscious desserts to choose from on the menu. Service was good. We were made welcome by a friendly member of staff. I chose Caramel Crunch Sundae, although expensive it was amazing and well worth the price. My friends chose the Hot Apple Crumble and Custard very tasty and also enjoyed it. She was surprised though when asked if she wanted it Hot or Cold ! Like surely Hot Apple Crumble is hot?

Overpriced for very average food. We had waffles with ice cream, the ice cream tasted more like milk. Would expect a good portion of proper ice cream for £7. The waffles were OK but just average. Will not be returning.

Came here with my son after the cinema and can safely say I will not be returning! The staff were sweet but the food it just cheap and nasty. I ordered my son a crepe and it was truly like rubber with a tiny scoop of icecream and it was £7! Never have I experienced such bad value for money! I thought the diner there before was bad but unfortunately this is of equal low standard. Do they think because they are in Yate they don't need to offer good quality food or is it this bad in all their establishments?

walked in and could see there were only around 4 tables being used. One member of staff turned round and looked us up and down then went back to polishing cutlery without even acknowledging we were there. After a few minutes a man came out and told us to sit whilst he wiped a table. He then spent at least 5 minutes wiping 2 table whilst continually telling us to sit at the window seat. When he finally decided it was time to sit us down he didn’t apologise for keeping us waiting. We sat down and decided what we wanted to eat then approached the counter to order. I ordered 2 cold drinks and was served them in a bottle. Surely the girl should have offered a glass or a straw at the very least. The rest of the visit went as expected and food was delicious. However I shall not be returning to this restaurant again as the service was so poor! A few lessons in basic manners and good customer service needs to be taught.

cant go too often here would end up like a barrel , not the ideal place to go to if you decided you were on a diet

So me and my friend strolled into Kaspas (Yate) at 8:30pm expecting to be able to quickly grab a waffle. First of all they were clearly put off by a big group of people in front of us and told them all they could only offer takeaway sundaes or slushies. He then proceeded to tell us that it was only takeaway and again only sundaes and slushies and that it we had turned up 10 minutes earlier we would have been okay (that’s 8:20.....) you don’t need that long to clean down a waffle and crepe maker hun. I work in the customer service industry, I understand you want to leave work on time but turning down people when you blatantly have time to make a waffle for 2 people? dry your eyes sweetheart we all want to go home but don’t advertise being open till 9 if you can’t get anything past 8:20

Had a wonderful treat with my fiance. We shared the white chocololate waffle as they looked huge! We also had a raspberry smoothie. We saw that they even do protein shakes and you can ask for water at any time and it was no trouble for them. We cant wait to go back. The staff were polite and we were impressed by there smiles and service. Thanks all. See you again.

Lunchtime in the school holidays wasn't the best time to visit - the place was packed. Table management was very good and polite though and after about 5 minutes we were seated. The menu was as expected - a mix of crepes, waffles and other such things with plenty of options and additions.

Visited on a busy night (Mother's Day), service was good, staff lovely. Desserts were lush! Can't wait to go again!

Just would like to say a huge thank you to the team at Kaspas in Yate. It was our sons birthday a couple of weeks ago, so we went to Kaspas with a group of 10 hyper children straight from Little Giggles. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. It was a quiet Monday evening and although quiet all staff were still enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. Really quick service so the children were not waiting very long. And the little extras and birthday surprises were a lovely add on. Excellent experience. Thank you

Wen to kaspas yesterday as a treat for my kids what a complete rip off,if you are going to specialise in 1 thing then it needs to be good and you need to have stock they had no carrot cake or pecan cake what a complete joke. but the deserts we had were poor quality and standard,horrible ice cream and squirty cream from a can even the takeaway boxes were cheap even though the food was ridiculously high priced and horrible absolutely shocked by how bad this place is and will be amazed if it’s still there in 6 months do not visit !!!

My kids had been going on about Kaspas after going with friends, so I thought I'd treat them to a visit at the end of the school holiday. We were greeted at the door by a member of staff and shown to our booth and given menus. At this point, as I always do when eating out, I mentioned my nut allergy and asked whether there was anything I should avoid. The reply astounded me ... I was told that they wouldn't recommend me eating anything off the menu as nothing would be safe! I've never been told this anywhere before. I was now left with the choice of taking my kids away and disappointing them, or sitting there watching while they ate. I went for the latter. I sat, nursing a cup of tea and a hungry stomach, while they ate their waffles. Never again will I be able to take my kids there, instead they'll go with friends and I'll take them where we can all be catered for.

Sadly tonight we went to Kaspas in Yate. We have been here on several different occasions, four of which have been poor and one of which was very good. This evenings performance however has permanently put us off. We were sat right opposite where they prepare the food. the girl who took my money with ungloved hands proceeded to then prepare peoples food also ungloved. I mentioned this to the manager, he promptly thanked me and reminded her to put some on. After that the same manager started to clean out one of the machines and without even washing his hands he took two Ferro Roche and put them on to my partners desert. When mine arrived, frankly it just looked sad. I always order the same thing as I'm mad about a brownie... The brownie pieces (the very few I got) where stale and cold, there was hardly any melted chocolate and the ice cream was not the usual fluffy white delight but the regular hard vanilla ice cream (which I don't like) I feel for over £14 for two deserts we deserve a hygienic and fresh service. This is not the first time for stale food and i'm sure its not the first for poor hygiene. At least this time they hadn't closed early last time we went on walking through the door we were told we are closed, to which I replied but your open for another hour where I was told... we've been told we can close early cos we've been quite, I explained that we were meeting friend, I was met with the answer but we've turned off the waffle machines and a shrug. My partner and I both own local businesses and people ask for recommendations all the time. Kaspas WILL NOT be one of them.

i enjoyed my visit to Yate Kaspas, the service was excellent from Kate was extremely efficient and polite, they really looked after me. myself loved the Banofee Waffles the price was reasonable i will definitely be back, thank you very much.

Well I was impressed decorated really nice staff all friendly but couldn’t believe the portion sizes huge I expected a lot smaller portions fo4 the money all the deserts look really yummy Been here three times so far will definately continue to visit
