Would’ve been nice to actually receive my food atleast be told it’s cancelled rather than wait 2 hours for delivery…

I’ve had positive experiences dining here, however, today was not one of them. I ordered a piece of fried chicken which was flavourless and dry, a small garlic bread pizza which tasted like soggy cardboard, and a chicken wrap, which, as well as being completely soaked through with chilli sauce so as to be too wet to pick up, was missing the salad requested on the website. None of the food was remotely edible and I wasted £20 and an hour of my life waiting for the delivery. 👎

Collected my food and my burger was cold and burnt like it has been reheated. I called and spoke with the manager who said to come in another day and he will replace my order. Just called now to be told he will not replace my order. When I questioned this I was told to get off the phone they were busy. Very disappointed and would not recommend to any very poor customer service and poor food quality.

Never have a bad experience with them, pizza is far better than dominos and less than half the price!

Friendliest takeaway in Thornbury. Had an issue with an online order last week and it was resolved very quickly.

We used to like this place but our last few experiences were disappointing. I was also shocked to discover that they have a 1 star food hygiene rating.

Absolutely disgusting food and the general hygiene is appalling

Our order yesterday was burned. Overcooked wedges, burned crispy kebab meat, overcooked fries, most of the food was wasted and ended up in bin. Considering what they charge and for the extra £4.50 charges it scores a 1 with us. Not impressed, we order from them on many occasions but this has put us off now.

Good place for late kebab , pizza or burgers . Not very impressed about shish lamb charcoal - meat was not fresh :( sorry guys but might try the pizza next time ! Hope do not be disappointed as love my pizza and I can tell the quality;)

Prices have increased astronomically well above inflation rates most items increasing by a pound or two sometimes more! Though the quality of the food remains exstreamly average at best.

Good . Well cooked chicken, not overcooked, nice and moist inside, charcoaled outside. Nice home made chilli sauce, not generic from bottle stuff . Bit pricey, but that's Thornbury for you . Keep up good work guys !

Just tried ordering for delivery at the Premier Inn less than 2 miles away and it was £15 minimum order and £3 charge for delivery! I'm sorry isn't that your job to deliver! 15 quid minimum order! Cost and living and all that but your taking the p1ss.

My wife & I have been ordering take aways on average once a month here for many years. The staff are friendly, the service quick & good value. Our pizzas are simply the tastiest around & always piping hot. We have never had a bad meal from here & would never consider going to Dominoes down the road next to Parkys fish & chips, another favourite!

Worst ever pizza from here this evening. PEPPERONI pizza, well apparently, couldn't find the pepperoni as they buried what their was under tons of cheese. They have never produced a pizza like this before, the pepperoni is always on the top and you can see what you've ordered. Very unimpressed regular customer!

Expensive garbage I ordered a kebab meat with chips, I asked for cheese on the chips extra £1.20 but I would expect salad and sauce for free not £3.80 additional charge and it’s a diy kebab rip off for small horrible food

Absolutely discussed with the service from there . Have ordered 3 times from there and every time they have forget half of the food . When they do bring the missing items they are all stone cold . When phoning up to complain and ask for a replacement they said if you don’t like it then don’t go back . No offer of a refund or a sorry . Such poor service

AWEFUL WILL NOT BE BACK. £20 for 2 kebabs! And wasn’t even the right order I received so I phoned back up and they said “very busy, next time you come explain it and we’ll sort it out (free chips or something) so went back up a couple days later and they didn’t wanna hear it and were very rude

Do not recommend pre cooked meat also had delivered once it was cold and was 3 hours to get it to me for a local service is bad hope they sort out or close let a better company do it

Asked what my wife could eat that was Gluten free and told only lamb kebab. They didn't have a clue what was on their food as the buy it all in. I clearly explained about the danger of gluten to her and on their recommendation ordered her lamb kebab with salad. Unfortunately they don't have a clue about the dangers of food allergies as when my wife opened it they'd put it in a Gluten containing pitta bread! How stupid is that? I ate her kebab and the lamb was awful, grissly and unedible. Definitely won't go there again.

Sorry to give bad review as the gentleman who served me was kind and polite. However my son has sesame and nut allergy and we are carful with what we order. We ordered a regular pizza, chips and nuggets. All of which shouldn’t have any nuts or sesame. Unfortunately he had a bad reaction and couldn’t eat the food. On reflection the place was quite dirty and run down. Food didn’t look fresh and the prep area didn’t look appealing. Whatever reaction he had would have possibly been cross contamination or possibly from the seasoning. Prices are a little expensive. Sorry to say first and last time I’ll visit.

Would not recommend. Ordered 2 meals one came with 4 pieces of chicken, the other I turned into a leather belt! Prices are very expensive, customer service is nonexistent and you get charged for paying by card, covid friendly 🙄

Prices have increased and portion size has significantly reduced. Large combo kebab is now more like a small! Good food just a shame they've made smaller for more money, And they also forgot a kebab off my order Tastys kebabs on the A38 in future for me.

I believe these are the best chicken wraps in Bristol area. The best I had in my life. Very delicious. Try a chicken wrap with these sauces: burger, BBQ, chilli, garlic mayo. Amazing 😀

Food is lovely but the no longer deliver to my area. Was told it was driver shortage but been a month now and delivery options removed from app and website. Real shame

Ordered here for years, even recommended to friends and all of a sudden they don't deliver to my post code anymore, cop out!!

Waited an hour and a half for our food and when it turned up was stone cold. The chips especially were not even edible as honestly felt like they had been sat on the side for an hour. The pizza was cold, could tell instantly as the box wasnt even slightly warm anymore. When we called they offered to send more food, but as we had already waited so long for the food, we couldnt risk waiting another hour and a half as it would be our sons bed time! Ended up making him a sandwich so that he had eaten something before bed at least. Asked for a refund but they said we had to go to the shop to get it, but there was a reason we ordered for delivery! My 1 star is only reflected by the fact my wrap was nice as was luke warm due to being wrapped in foil.

Lovely Pizza for a low cost takeaway, in comparison to Dominos. Very friendly staff. Look forward to going back :)

Not happy about how the food us served. Nobody bothers about distancing . Decided to bin the food in case contaminated!! Don’t they understand hygiene rules

Had a chicken kebab from here ... first time ever ... never again. Six bits of chicken, one of which was pink, cold and greasy ... ended up in the bin. Chips didn't taste of anything either. Awful meal. One star given only because had to leave one ... maybe for the delivery man.

Yuck! Cold food even though I live near . The meat in the kebab was like biting into pieces of bone ! Couldn’t eat it , in fact it made me feel sick ! Has to be the worst place in thornbury to get food , I certainly won’t be wasting my money in there again ! Plus the chips were soggy & bland . I suggest people try somewhere else or don’t eat !!!

Had a sausage sandwich which was presented in the correct manner with chips that were free. The egg sandwiches was good too. Nice and hot although there was a few black bits on the egg white which must have come from the previous item that was cooked in the same oil.

Normally they were pretty good but I spent £35 on a meal to feed me in the family tonight and all I could taste was mixed herbs or Italian herbs on our pizza and not the actual pizza very disappointed

We love charcoal grill. Pizza is so much tastier than domino's and the chicken kebab is a reasonably healthy option for a takeaway.

Nice burger when nothing else was available at 2/3bin the afternoon yummy.

In current situation found ourselves looking for a reasonable take away meal. Favourite fish/chip shop currently not operating so searched web for suitable alternative. Found this restaurant offering take out menu which appeared to offer just what we wanted. Placed order and at agreed time collected it, our meal was being finished off as we arrived. Opening it it appeared good but turned out to be very ordinary.

Ordered 2 donner kebabs for delivery. Was charged £18 including delivery and card payment charge. kebab came minus sauces and salad. Phoned up to tell them deliver incomplete - they had no comment. We ended up eating dry kebabs - and no apology or refund. Forget this place - zero customer service.

Food took over 2 and a half hours to come , it said it would be with us at 7:30 we rang at 7:40 just to wander where it is and they said it was only just cooking then they carried on to ignore the calls and when food came not all of it was warm . Bit of a joke

Always order from here but tonight has now put me off 2 and half hours for order and when did try calling in between no answer food was cold sadly

Best settled kebab in Thornbury, if I compare with other kebab sellers in local, wouldn't go any where else. We've been using this place for many year's and the quality and taste has never let me down... I would endorse quite willingly this superb kebab shop...

working away down here and can say that pizza from here is in my top 3 pizzas in the uk. Staff all friendly and polite any bad reviews in my opinion are from disgruntled locals trying to make this place look bad

Now if you like scrubbed tables and places smelling of bleach then this is one to avoid!!At night it is a "kebab house" and the place is open almost all day, so, as a small business it is hard to tick evey box. What I will say is that the breakfast type food IS piping hot. Excellent value for money and very tasty. We have also had the take away kebabs delivered and they, too, are excellent. Don't judge a book by it's cover.

Came here with some friends who took me here as I was unaware of this venue. We decided to avoid shellys cafe as their tight and stingy.Came here my friends ordered omelette and wow that was a plate full. Neither of my heavy eaters could clear the plate.I had a sausage sandwich which came with the full complement of sausages (no odd halves here)AND a full portion of chips as part of the sandwich. Yes I did enjoy that.Will be coming here again. I very much recommend this venue. Although they could do with getting branded sauces then this place would be perfect.The cafe was clean and our food arrived in very quick time. Cooked and piping hot.The staff was very polite.Thank you. It was a pleasure to eat here.

On saturday i ordered a takeaway and was charged for it, i paid on their website however it never turned up then when i phoned both times the 2 people i spoke to shouted at me and were extreemly rude, i went without the takeaway dispite being charged for it!!!!!!! And they are yet to refund me

Went in to buy a Kebab 20 minutes before they closed. The old fat guy there was very rude. Grunting at me and telling me they only had Chicken burgers and pizza. So I reluctently bought a chicken burger. I explained to him that I had to get money out of the bank 1st. He grunted at me again and told me to "hurry up" When I came back he told me that it was £6.70. Which is quite steep for a chicken burger but I expected it to be nice for that price. When i finaly got the burger, I looked inside it... Nothing. No salad. No sauce. No nothing apart from a medium sized piece of chicken. VERY rude staff. Expensive and rubish food. Would give it a 0 but the chips were alright. Theres a very nice man who does wonderful food for HALF THE PRICE on the highstreet in his van. Kind to everyone. GO THERE and do not give these horrible beople your money.
