Mcdonald's Restaurants in South Gloucestershire

Great service food was fresh. The store was extremely clean considering it was packed in the restaurant. Helpful staff recently priced have been reduced. Disabled access is great My reason for the average score only on the atmosphere was it was so noisy due to the large amount of customers, so that is just my personal preference this now way reflects on the score of five ⭐ as it's truly deserved. Thank you McDonald's you get the quality spot on and the price is low. Great menu choice also and the ice-cream machine always seems to work here

It's always very slow in here. You can expect to wait at least 30 mins for your food. It's simply carnage inside. When you do get food it's cold. Drive through service is better but not significantly. I would suggest going to the McDonald's just up the road near asda

Wait times for the driver through are absolutely horrendous !! Even when it isn’t busy, you’re told to park up and in around 15 minutes you get your food. I don’t see the point of a drive thru if you then just have to park up and wait ages. There is just no system here, it’s just awful.

Worst McDonald's I've ever had. It was like a scene in faulty towers but not funny. Food was awful 🤢

Of all the McDonald’s establishments that I’ve visited in the UK and Europe over the last ten years, this place is absolutely the worst. Does not even deserve 1 star. 20+ minute wait for eat in food, whilst drive thru and Deliveroo/Just Eat couriers are prioritised instead. The staff needed to be prompted to find my order, and then gave me attitude when I asked why I had been waiting so long. The food was then like warm at best. Food and ketchup all over the floor and not cleaned up. No napkins available in the dispenser. No soap in the gents toilets. Hand drier does not work in the gents toilet. How this place passes food standards is beyond me. Frankly the franchise should be removed. Absolutely hopeless.

Delivery drivers parked wherever they wanted. Paths / zebra crossings / disabled parking without blue badges. When it's busy the staff don't really pay attention to orders I ordered a strawberry lemonade drink and got a sprite I'm not confrontational so I just left.

Please turn back time to when you walked in, ordered your food and walked away with it, I'm all for progress but the current system is absolutely ridiculous, just eat riders etc seem to be prioritised Fast food ??? Loads of staff walking about but not sure what there doing as its not serving food. Utter joke.

Ok for a quick bite when quiet, staff not very attentive and could do with quicker cleaning when tables leave. Food mediocre at best.

Wait times are so long at peak times, it’s not fast anymore.

Cold fries and spicy chicken burger served instead of a regular. Sauce only on one side of burger so realised too late to complain and it was so busy I didn't want to queue. There is an issue every time we go to MxDonalds with one of our 5 different orders.

Chips came out cold. Wrap wasn't nice to eat either and had to wait around 25 minutes dke our order to come. Cleaning staff were very friendly. No crayons for the kids to colour.

Lost my order, then took 45 mins to get a new one. Place was grubby, food was cold, then original food found, girl was seem chewing her nails whilst serving. Lots of cross customers

What a horrible place to order a “fast food”. Clueless people just walking around and joking between them, seriously this is a fast food chain or just a bunch of clueless individuals that has no training or doesn’t have anyone to be in charge, and keep the things running. I’m already 20 min and not even two orders was delivered 🤡

The standard maccie d's but very busy with the staff not being able to keep. Food though was standard so can't complain.

Very busy, all seating taken, 40people waiting for there orders,all self serve machines full and drive in backed upto roundabout. Totally the opposite today, this place was empty and staff hanging around the place chatting about plane flights to poland and doing nothing but orders were still taking 20mins for a coffee and large chips

Great service, excellent order, fast

This particular location was actually very good. Clean, bright seating area along with warm to hot food. Good stuff considering. Star taken off for the obvious priority to get delivery orders out while in restaurant customers are left standing around for a long time to collect their food.

31mins to complete order, it would have been longer had I not complained. 2 burgers ordered, both delivered cold, and cheeseburger had no cheese. No apology or acknowledgement of delay. My experience seemed widespread with others in the queue. Suggest you avoid at all costs unless you want a similar experience.

After half an hour waiting for my order I ask where is my food. They bring it to me cold, not complete and monopoly stickers was take out. Worst service ever

I had an app order and drive through to collect. Saturday afternoon is very busy. Waited 20 mins in the drive through and then still waiting for the food whilst there is not really any parking around? They will tell you to park on a side. Service is good in the morning whilst there’s no one as I tried. Avoid at peak time to avoid disappointment.

Always a great and valuable experience. Only had coffees but they were good, the right temperature and made the grade for our discerning palettes.

Food turned up luke warm, hardly surprising when it took 10 mins from preparing food to out for delivery, the drink was only half full due to being spilled in the bag, this McDonalds had been consistently rubbish at getting hot food out to me considering I was parked less than a qtr of a mile away. This place really needs to up its game,

I write this as I stand waiting for my order, 3 women front of house literally working there butt's off, the waiting is long, but then that's not there fault as it appears they are under staffed, But overall the place is busy, BUT clean, the staff are polite but very rushed. I duno how they are keeping there cool but they are! It's situations under presure like this you see the worst. But here..... I can't fault the staff, Area management tho..... help this crew out! They deserve better, maby a pay rise?

Took over an hour for 'muck'delivery, as another order had taken priority over mine. I'm not sure why. Instead of making fresh food, they delivered the food they made when i first placed the order. Burger, chicken selects, and the chips were stone cold. The drinks were warmer. Even if you physically go up in person, you are waiting ridiculous times for them to process delivery orders first, so you can't really win. Felt compelled to write a review, even though they make no difference. I guess a big corporate company has won again. And they always will.

Arrived on a Saturday afternoon and you would be excused for thinking a bomb had gone off in a food bin. The place was an atrocious mess and quite frankly vile. Staff far too busy catering to delivery orders than dealing with paying customers in the "restaurant". Food has still not arrived. I hope to see my family again one day.

Order was cold and soaking wet because of the rain. The burgers were ok-ish lukewarm but the drink had spilled (about a quarter lost) and what was left was flat. I’d just avoid ordering chips and drinks to be delivered until McDonalds can be bothered to sort out decent travel-proof packaging. The coke had been placed in a paper bag, no wonder it was everywhere.

Use ore paper towels or cardboard to secure drinks for deliveries. Fed up of spilt, half empty fizzy drinks.

I can only describe this experience as an absolute joke we waited for nearly 15 minutes at the drive through before getting served even though there was only 2 cars in front of us, then once we got served out took another 10 minutes to get out fast food, when we did get it out was luke warm at its very best and the chips tasted like they'd been fired hours before, never going back

Went here last night and my wife and myself had the philly cheese stack. My wife's beef was a bit cold and mine was warm possibly just from being under a heat lamp. Within an hour of eating my burger I was severely ill and have now got food poisoning. My wife didn't finish hers and she seems to be alright. Ordered happy meals for my children 1 cheese burger meal and 1 chicken nugget meal and both ended up being chicken nugget meals and they weren't even busy so it's not like they were rushed and got the order wrong. Might just stick to mcdonalds next to Asda in future as never seem to have any issues there

never arrived, ive broken down in my van, delivery driver was at the wrong location so said he'd call me back,absolutely nothing! so now im cold hungry and can't leave my vehicle as I'm waiting for resume. FIRST AND LAST TIME USING THIS SERVICE!

When I ordered it stated delivery time from 6:20, then it kept changing 5 or 10 minutes at a time after 30 minutes the system stated the delivery driver had arrived to pick up the delivery, it stayed like this until gone 8:00. At this point I started trying to cancel the order, it said I may be charged as they may have already cooked it. I waited another 20 minutes decided I was going to cancel when the map view popped up stating the delivery rider was on their way. It duely arrived at 8:28.

My delivery was over a late, food cold, chips half missing. No garlic mayo dip which I payed for separately.

I took my son in for breakfast. I had a double sausage and egg it was dripping in fat, even the bun was full of fat, and I had to take it back, and the replacement was not much better.

This is how I imagine McDonalds in my worst nightmares about the End of Days. This restaurant deserves to lose its franchise. An absolute disgrace. Filthy toilets and greasy, dirty floors. Waited for food for 20 minutes. Staff wandering around looking gormless. We ate our cold food and listened to the dulcet tones of a constantly ringing telephone that no one seemed to be inclined to answer. Perhaps the Gen Z staff aren’t familiar with landlines? I very nearly answered it myself after 10 minutes but my Gen Z daughters wouldn’t let me. Avoid.

OK, it was the school holidays (my visit was Tues 27th Aug) but golly was I in for a wait. 30 mins it took for my order, it was just unmitigated chaos, there were uber drivers waiting as long as me with the food trolley was piled up with huge delivery bags sat going cold but maybe 5 drivers waiting for their order. I was lucky as the chap who got his order just before me complained his fries were cold so I got fresh hot ones. the food in the end was hot but a 30 minute wait not really good enough.

Normally this McDonald’s is not too bad, although the experience we had today was atrocious. Fast food doesn’t exist here, it’s more like slow food as it took half an hour, despite this our none of the tables were clean, we had lunch at 3pm and rubies from this mornings breakfast, including McMuffin bits were scattered everywhere. I ended up grabbing the anti bac spray from the counter and cleaned the table myself, customers shouldn’t be expected to clean up after customers, although I don’t mind doing this as it was busy, but shouldn’t have too either. The toilets were horrendous, but in all fairness most McDonald’s restrooms are in a terrible state. This branch needs more front of house staff as it gets very busy and dirty very quickly, one person at the front could easily maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant eating areas and restroom.

The restaurant today is dirty, lots of tables that haven't been wiped, rubbish collected. Not very inviting. It's a Saturday before 12 and there's food on the floor i had to clean my table and the tissue was dirty afterwards. The place needs a deep clean. Standards are dropping.
