Poor service couldn't complete an order, missed item's, when called they hang up, when they finally answer and promise to sort it, well they didn't, won't be going here anymore

If I could give 0 I would. £34 spent for the complete wrong order to be sent and then to hear we have wait another 2 hours for food as an 11 minute drive is too far for them or 5 days for the refund? After saying I want a refund he takes my long card number and hangs up. So I’m clearly not getting a refund for the £34. Broard daylight robbery Totally unacceptable the way they spoke to me. “Go away” the manager words were. After calling back multiple times because the phone kept getting put down, a customer answers the phone to try sort out the issue!! Poor poor customer service will NEVER be using again I suggest no one uses unless you want to get robbed Give all food back for a full refund😂😂😂😂

Very very bad kebab They hire underage people and then slave them into doing everything while they sit out back They are very inappropriate towards them and make rude gestures to them as well They then accuse them of all different things to make them feel bad and then do as they say They take advantage of younger generations Food is all in a freezer out back and has been in there for weeks and then brought out to cook They sort out the veg and all the meat with there bare hands no gloves or care for germs Out the back is as dirty as you like Health and safety and the food service needs to be looked at asap !!! Terrible place please don’t go

So I ordered a food from the thieving scum bags! When the ordered arrived, part of the order was missing!! I was told that the delivery driver had taken some of the order for himself. As a way of apology, they agreed to send a free order which we accepted. We then place the order a couple of weeks later having been told we’d have the driver come straight to us. After an hour & 30 minutes from time of order, I called to ask where my order was & when I’d get it. They responded saying that there was 3 orders in front of ours to be delivered & it would be another 25 minutes. I then reminded them that the order would be stone cold after being in transit nearly 2 hours to which they replied “heat it up mate” I suggest everyone steers clear of these scum bags!! Awful service from awful people!!

Cannot get the orders right and then do not rectify the mistakes. Then shout at you down the phone complaining they are busy. I wouldn’t bother.

Food was lovely but when I ordered off of uber eats they didn't listen to the note I left for the kebab and it came with sauce even though I asked for none.

Ordering online was easy and fine. Delivery was fine apart from the wrong food went to the wrong address but this was quickly corrected by the driver who was really nice. Shame about the food it was awful never had anything bad from here until now, the chicken donor meat looked and tasted awful like the bits off the bone left over it was truly awful and tasted like I was eating bones! The chips tasted like rubber as if they had been stood for a while and reheated there was no taste or fresh crisp that you would expect. The burger was ok nothing to write home about and the pizza was soggy. What a shame, really dissappointed on the whole to be honest.

First time of ordering, food tasting but it was a shame we didn't get salad with the beef and chicken burger.

I normally get a decent bit of grub from this place, but left truly disappointed today. Ordered a mixed wrap with cheese and salad The wrap was closer to a tortilla chip and burnt from all the way through no chicken anywhere in the mixed meat wrap. Didn’t notice until I got home. He normally wraps the wrap in plain sight so did wonder why it was done on the other counter. Wrap was so hard and smashed I had to decant it into a bowl to eat. Lots of bad reviews on here but otherwise my food has always been good. Shall see what the next order is like and amend my review accordingly

She order from here I wouldn’t inspect it to turn up the worst customer service I’ve ever had comment on the food as it never arrived

Just had a delivery of pizza chips and salad, Firstly my husband was asked if he was the one who tried to use a dodgy card, we always pay cash on delivery bad service, We had a Hawaiian pizza only half had a little bit of pineapple on, what a let down

If I could give a 0, I would. I ordered directly through their website and only received half my order when I called up to tell them they said they would send it out, and they never did, and I called up on 4 separate occasions trying to get my money back or have what I ordered and I'm still waiting for both of them

A great takeaway with a good menu and very competitive price

If I could give a zero I would ordered food through Uber eats everything turns up apart from my pizza so when I contacted the restaurant they were very rude to me saying it’s not there fault it’s the drivers fault they wouldn’t send a driver to my address as it was ( to far away ) about a 10 min drive the owner who I spoke to was very rude it not his issue it’s Uber's and there is nothing to do and just to top it off the food taut did arrive was disgusting undercooked and not flavour what so ever I wish I had read reviews before coming here I will not be coming back here absolutely a joke of place

Large mix kebab at £12 was a steal . Portion was huge and taste great. Great place very quick service

We were overcharged by £7 even Charged for delivery when we collected. We was told it was due to price increase but online menu and shop menu had not been changed. This is the second time it’s happened. Will not return to be ripped off again

I fell ill after eating here as did my friend. Was absolutely starving so overlooked the odd taste to the chicken we ate. Spent two days on the toilet.

What has happened to this place? Ordered food at 21:18, paid online and it never arrived and no one was answering the phone for 30mins as I tried to get through. Guess I'll be using Friats Place from now on, totally unacceptable and very, very poor service, don't accept the order and the payment if you cannot commit to completing the order fully. Not impressed one bit!!

1) we was charged full price for the 2 pizzas when they should have been on offer. 2) we got charged delivery when we collected it 3) the people that ate the chicken pizza has had an upset stomach since eating it. #check receipt before getting home!

If I could give zero stars, I would! I wish I'd read the reviews before ordering! Food arrived and there was so much grease the paper around the kebab box was soaked! 🤢 After cleaning up the greasy mess and putting our food on plates instead, we could finally try our food, I genuinely wish we didn't bother! The meat was absolutely disgusting - I have never tasted kebab like it. We threw both of our kebabs in the bin! Complete waste of money for the most disgusting food I've ever tasted. Please do not waste your hard earned money on this!

If I could give -5 I would, when delivered there was so much grease it leaked out the food boxes, chips were soggy with grease, kebab and chicken was absolutely disgusting and could not eat ended up in the bin!!! Absolute waste of money.

Believe all one star ratings, we gave them another chance but again disappointed. They don't even care about customer service, according the guy he's too busy! Save your hard earn money and don't use them! When you treat your customers like that I wouldn't feel sorry if your business go under! Yes I'm that disappointed!

I'm absolutely disappointed with the meal I had yesterday. I ordered a burger meal and got the burger. Rang them, and they said they would send out another meal, and nothing came. I've had a few things go wrong with orders in the past like cold/lukewarm, wrong things on burger or kebabs, getting things we didn't order or missing items but I thought i would give them the benefit of the doubt. Think this is the last time we will order from them.

Modern day slavery operation being run erdinc and erdal aka Andy and Eric. When you buy food from here your empowering them to keep the slave operation going. They believe it’s acceptable to pay £35 for 8-9 hours of work.

What happened here? I used to come here all the time, for a period once every other week. This was my go to place, I always ordered from here and got a fair amount of food. The pizza was good, the chicken was matching or better than KFC. Then all of a sudden around the time of the pandemic, something changed. Now I can never order food from here, it's just changed so much. Sadly the food is inedible, I waited a while and tried again but I was let down.

This use to be a very good takeaway as a regular customer since new ownership over 3 past years you have ran it into the ground !! Long delivery , cold food , wrong order or forget something will never use again AVOID !!!!!

It was cold and the burger had so much sauce it made the roll soggy and the cheapest frozen burger with no flavour. The kebab came with no sauce and was so salty it tasted terrible. Cold food again. Twice cold in one week. Gave you another chance. Never again. You have lost a customer. Such a shame as used to be great.

The chicken was overcooked, was very salty, and the kabab was greasy. The Donors were dry and lacked any flavour. Most of what we ordered went in the bin.

This is the 2nd time I’ve had this place and got to say it’s lovely can’t fault it at all One of the best kebabs I’ve had and definitely the best one around Yate thank you very much for our food tonight really enjoyed it all the best Troy and Jonathan 👌

Ordered over a hour ago rang them up to ask what’s going on was told it’s going in the oven now very rude. ask for refund for order and had phone put down on me been going for over 15 years but gone right down hill won’t be back again after that

Been ordering for on and off 5 years with living in and out of Yate. Most consistently great take away I've ever had. Price is good value too , easy website for when your feeling too cba to even call up. Good delivery times and banging food!

My family and I visit this restaurant regularly, and cannot fault the food, service or cleanliness of the place. There's always a member of staff cleaning somewhere, whether it's windows, floors, grills, great to see. Efficient service, food always fresh and piping hot. Highly recommend the mixed meat wrap. Absolute yum. They deliver too!

Love this place. Best kebab in South Glos. Staff are efficient, friendly and great with kiddy customers. A wide selection of yumminess on the menu, this place is immaculate and has very high standards of cleanliness. Highly recommend Yate Kebab and Pizza.

Terrible pizza. The cheese and base were rubber..... chicken tasted like something that wasnt chicken. Horrendous. Owner was not helpful at all. Couldn't of cared!

2 hours wait, and when we phoned after an hour told they delivered to another house, said we are redoing the order, It came as I said after ordering at 5:30, delivered at 7:36, used these for years, you would expect it to be good with extras not the case chips cold and pizza looked like a tractor at ran over it and warm.

Best shish kebab in yate cooked to profection nice fresh salad would of taken picture but was too hungry 😋 if u don't know wot to pick check out there website. if a big eater get the xl it hits the spot.

I had a lamb sish.... It was to die for.... The salad is fabulous and the best ever sauce... Yoghurt and mint just topped it off My partner had an exlarge doner... It was the best! Nice clean shop and lovely staff.... We will be back!

I wasn't sure what to make of this place from the reviews but it was quite nice. I had the lamb shish kebab with mint yoghurt and all the salad. It was nicer than the chicken one but both were nice. I can see myself coming back. Cheers guys. Kids liked it too :-)

Took a hour and half to arrive , chips had been reheated kebab meat was luke warm waste of money

Food was ok, delivery was shocking, was told an hour as busy but took nearly two hours even after calling 2 times, won't be using again.

Came in with my daughter one evening. Lovely girl served me and my daughter. Waited 30 minutes for my food inside shop. It was a busy evening so I wasn’t too annoyed. Ordered fried chicken, pizzas and kebabs. The man who seemed to be in charge forgot to give me the fried chicken I’d ordered. He started shouting at the young lady and blamed her for the chicken not being ready. He read my order many times. He then said to me that it was her fault and that I would have to wait another 20 minutes before my chicken would be ready. I felt bad for the girl as she was very busy taking orders and money from other customers in the shop and answering the phones. I did not like how he treated the young lady and feel torn between coming back to this place for food in the future. It’s a shame as I love the food here. But the staff treatment was appalling.

Had more mayonnaise then donor kebab. Called to complain and they wanted photo proof. Said they could have the kebab... they said it was on its way. After an hour called back. Woman said driver is delivering now so wont be long... waited another 30mins. Nothing. Partner drove to them. They were dead and their driver was sat there chatting to the lady at the front. And no order of ours to be seen. The cook blamed the woman at the front... ridiculous service

Always been excellent at the delivery service and produce. But latest order wasn't that great. The leaflet said that if you spend £20 or over you get a free drink, though the delivery drivers said it is£30 or over?? They said they would return with the free drink but never showed up. And although all items ordered were cooked well I only got 4 sliced tomatoes in a chicken shish, when there should have been salad included. I only asked for no mayo, maybe a misunderstanding. Please can you update your leaflet?? Thank you

Well come on we are in Yate and not many fast food outlets. They will do, I guess.

Their chips are never cooked always soggy, the boxs the food comes in is always burnt and food fools out, every order that we have placed there is always something missing from it. like a meal or two and drinks, if you ask the delivery person if you can check the food before she goes she mutters something then as walking away shouting to the person in the car about it, then when you call to get it sorted they still get it wrong

Ordered and it arrived on time when we opened the food it looked rushed the whole order was messed up .. called the shop and was told it was what I ordered and made out to be a lier wont order again.. no offer to rectify the order.. very bad service ..

We ordered food which we were told would be approx 40mins to 1 hour. After 1 1/2 hours no food so we phoned again to be told it was leaving in 2 mins...still no food. So we phoned again to be told the same thing.. still no food. It eventually arrived over 2 hours after we ordered and was cold. Will not be ordering again!!

I don’t normally leave reviews but I can not believe the customer service I’ve just received... I made a order for home delivery where I was told it would be a 40/50 minute wait. After an hour and a half my food had still not been delivered so I rang up and was told the delivery driver was just leaving. Another half an hour passed (I live a 5 minutes drive) and again I was told the driver is just leaving. Another 20 minutes later and my food was still no where to be seen so I rang for the third time and asked to talk to the manager. I was trying to explain to him that I’d been waiting 2 hours for my delivery and that each time I’ve rang I’ve just been getting the run around, but he was making this very difficult for me by constantly talking over me and not listening to a word I say. When I said again I’d been waiting two hours he said he’d send a complimentary drink out (which didn’t ever turn up) when I said that’s not good enough he had the audacity to laugh. And to top it all off my order was delivered incorrect and one of the meals looked like they were literally chucked together. I wouldn’t recommend anyone orders from here and can only hope that the unprofessional patronising mangers learns how to treat his customers.

Despite a small hiccup with some missing salad, Yate kebabs went out of their way to do an additional delivery to ensure we were happy! The food is great and we will definitely be ordering again.

Dont order from this kebab shop!!! They messed up the order that was given, even though it was fairly simple. They delivered it a lot later than what was said, food was cold Also me and a friend of mine got food poisoning. Im a regular customer, however since the change over its not been the same. Wont be going back!!!!

Shocking food! I ordered a chicken wrap which cost £6 and what turned up was a pathetic wrap with hardly any chicken, no salad and very tasteless! The kids meals were also very miserable looking and a total rip off for the amount of food given! Never again I might as well of thrown my money down the nearest drain!

Continuously mess up orders and despite being a regular customer, on the one occasion I decide to ask for the correct order to be delivered, point blank refused. Awful customer service, continuously getting wrong order. Quality of food isnt tbe greatest. Will never order from here again. Don't waste your money!!!

Manger very rude. Messed up the order and wouldn't rectify after waiting 45 mins for it to arrive. Wouldn't let me finish my sentence and will not buy from there again. Very poor service.

The staff were so kind to us, we had almost got there after it closed. We ordered a 3 piece chicken and small chips and they kindly gave us 4 piece chicken and large chips. They were so kind, It was great service and they were very quick. They were very nice and had great small talk. 10/10 recommend :)
