Long time waiting for basic order, order screen in the wrong place so everyone stands by the desk.

Old pub used to go to in 80's when a kid. Don't think it's really changed that much. Fine for meeting up with old friends, wouldn't class as high end though.

Just way too expensive for what you get.

Bokat bord för 10 kollegor två veckor i förtid - väl på plats får vi lastat i ansiktet att det inte går att boka bord på lunchen, vi kan få olika bord och då behöva splittras… Bortförklaringar om att ngn kollega gjort fel, Noll intresse av att försöka lösa problemet för oss som kunder, istället ett nonchalant och rent ut sagt otrevligt bemötande - medför att vi lämnar bygget med en irritation och besvikelse. Som tur var fanns det en konkurrent en bit upp på Västmannagatan i form av spice of India där vi fick såväl ett fint bemötande som god mat. Tamarind sätter vi Aldrig våra fötter på igen!

Stayed one night and found the room to be disgustingly furnished and dirty- carpets threadbare, stained, and stinky. The bed sheets were overdone with fabric softener that caused migraine, and smell of room covered with plug in scent. Bathroom door would not close- floor so uneven. Just a pitiful excuse for bed and breakfast.

took a very long time to get our coffees.other customers were complaining as well.excellent welsh cakes.toilet needed to be bigger.

I ordered a chicken sweet n sour set menu for 1, chicken satay starter was lovely but chicken balls on main course were grossly overcooked, may cooked for a 2nd time. I ordered this at 5pm, maybe it would be better if ordered later so they would be fresh.

Really lovely food and fantastic service, lamb shish wraps and burgers were amazing. Thank you we will be back again and again

Small cosy service station, good for a quick pit stop en-route to Cardiff.

Food here is always well cooked, it can be busy but worth the wait. Great food great service.I would recommend the royal breakfast. Then when you finish pop next door to get your fresh meat and veg

I visited with my 9-month-old twins and had a toastie, which was reasonably priced and very nice. It came with a little pot of tomato sauce/soup stuff on the side, which was a good added bonus. Coffee very nice and a generous size cup. Nice, peaceful garden at the back. Helpful staff. It made my day after a stressful morning chasing two uncooperative babies around a baby massage class!!

Always a pleasure to eat here & Sunday lunch is second to none. I had the trio of meats & it did not disappoint- tender & full flavoured Gloucester old spot pork, slow cooked beef & a very nice portion of chicken. As always- Luke and Toni the stars of the show. Great food, great drink & Great service!

Went here a few years ago, the staff didn't seem very happy, and the welcome was cold unfortunately. Cake was dry.

Absolutely amazing burger! The chips are perfect too. The family that run it are lovely people too
