Premises here are quite rustic with several indoor and semi-outdoor seating areas. Our order came very quickly and was excellent value for the quality of food and portion size. No room for pudding, but cakes looked good. Handy location close to Cribbs Causeway and significantly better than many of the chain eateries there.

I rang this place to find out what time they stopped serving food. To be told hot food stopped at 3pm. But cold available. Arriving just after 3. I am disabled on a walker, could not get through single door into café the bolt for second door, was on the other side. A customer came & opened door. When inside. The only food is cake! I don’t eat cake, was expecting at least a cold sandwich or slice of Quiche. Asked but were told only cake!!! So we left. Same situation difficult to get through doors. Will not be going again.

We have been going to Easter Compton Farm Shop and Cafe for years, the food is really good in the cafe, however one staff member makes it an unpleasant experience. Today she went and ate her lunch on the next table to us (despite the roofed outside area where we were sat being empty). Her phone playing with volume up; “You are really f*cking boring” on repeat. We reported this to the manager as Joanna, who heads up the cafe segment had gone home. Although he said he would pass on our concerns to Joanna he smirked and found the whole thing humorous, not the type of man I would trust with food preparation and sales. All in all a churlish unpleasant experience. Also as an aside it is very unprofessional and odd to have staff eating their lunch in the area set aside for paying customers.

I live close by so it’s great to have access to local and fresh produce on my doorstep, the farm shop has lots of choice of seasonal produce and tasty treats. The butchers is second to none and there’s an excellent little cafe, recommend a visit if you are passing or on your way to the wave with the family.

The Farm Shop lets it down with poor customer service and off hand staff. I have been a loyal customer but today their attitude means I will be going to Frampton Cotterell Farm Shop in the future. The cafe there is better too!

Always worth a visit , meat is such excellent quality. And all the other products , vegetables, bread . We do not buy from any other butcher . The staff ,Antonio and all of them , are so incredibly knowledgeable, and easy to ask questions , just all very helpful

The food here is amazing, my favourite is the English breakfast , friendly staff and a fair price considering the ingredients are top of the range. I’m a regular love it here.

Upon arrival the cafe looked well presented, plenty of seating available indoor and outdoor, we had stopped by to grab a small portion of snack food which we weren't entirely sure was available as menu only stated full meals and drinks, we did attempt to ask one of the passing waitresses who unfortunately completely ignored us, we proceeded to ask another team member who eventually stopped by and informed us that the food we were after was available. We waited for a good while and staff were extremely slow , ignorant of other customers , and at time rude to ones being served. We ended up leaving as felt we were going to be there for a very long time just for a small portion of chips as well as it being a Very awkward experience in my opinion, all staff seemed to be very young. being silent amongst eachother, and came across very annoyed that they were even there and looked like there wasn't Really anyone in charge at the time, just teenagers left to their own devices. Poor customer service and organisation.

It’s fine - quite pricey for the quality provided. Yeah the portions are good but this is a builders Caff, not a Farm Shop Cafe

Located slightly off the beaten track, but next to The Wave surf pool, the café and a farm shop share the same building and you can walk through from one to the other. There’s a decent amount of covered outside seating, as well as a pleasant dining room. We were only there for a snack, and the cakes on display in the glass counter looked very tempting and slightly unusual – extra swirls of piped icing on top the coffee and walnut sponge for example, and what looked liked caramel shortbreads that were quite enormous, although I think perhaps the base may have been sponge, not caramel at all. I opted for the Victoria sponge, and this was a generous slice with a good amount of butter cream and jam in the middle. Unfortunately after that though, it really went downhill. The sponge was really very dense, not light and fluffy at all, and the jam was quite unusual, being more like a jelly. It was ok, but that’s really all I can say about it. An accompanying latte was also ok, although I’ve certainly had better. A little strong, although is just personal preference I suppose, but not as creamy as I would have liked. Overall, I was a bit disappointed with this. I really wanted to like it, it’s a pleasant setting and it looked like they had made a bit of an effort with the cakes, but it just didn’t live up to expectations unfortunately. It also seemed quit expensive, with two slices of the sponge, the latte and a tea (with the bag just in the cup, not a separate pot) coming in at £12.40. It’s not even as though they have a prime location in the city centre with the associated rent and rates costs. That said, I’d give them the benefit of the doubt and pop in again to try something else if passing.

This cafe has to qualify as Easter Compton's best kept secret! Ok, it's not quite secret as there's a trailer by the turnoff with a sign telling you about the locally made and supplied ingredients, but it's easy to overlook if you're going to The Wave surf pool as you drive past to go to The Wave's car park. However if you stop just before there, you'll find a lovely little cafe that serves good food at sensible prices made from, as it says, local ingredients and they do, for instance, a lovely Beef Stew which is cheap, but excellent for warming up cold surfers after a session! I've stopped off there several times and had delicious meals, nothing fancy, but good, tasty and well made food. You can sit inside on cold days, but, when it's sunny, there's a nice, covered, outdoor section to enjoy. It's also next to the Farm Shop itself, so if you like the food, you can buy the ingredients yourself to take home and cook later. Definitely worth a look.

Went here a few years ago, the staff didn't seem very happy, and the welcome was cold unfortunately. Cake was dry.

For such a small group of 30, Christmas food was served Luke warm, and prawns on a muffin with a fish sauce for starter didn't go down well, though I should have known better when selecting it. Portions were poor with one half of carrot, and parsnip. The 4 small spouts shivered on plate next to a thinly sliced turkey. It was only the warm gravy that improved the taste. Would not recommend this facility for a function. Very disappointed.

Unfortunately, it appears to us this cafe is no longer in business..we walked completely around the several buildings in the vicinity after completing a leg of our Cotswold Way walk and awaiting transportation. There was no signage indicating a cafe either. Additionally the website link is defunct also. If I'm mistaken and we simply couldn't find it or some other reason, apologies and best of luck to others (and disregard the single star of course).

Don’t drink the hawkstone lager, tastes like an IPA pretty sure they get their lines mixed up. Refused to give me a different beer when I went back to the bar after 3 swigs lol
