Went here a few years ago, the staff didn't seem very happy, and the welcome was cold unfortunately. Cake was dry.

1 x vegan, 2 vegetarian, 6 standard afternoon teas = perfection. A wonderful treat for a family birthday. The rolls were tasty and fresh, the scones were lovely and I have no words for the cakes - other than so good! And it was all delivered to my front door. I cannot recommend The Cosy Cafe highly enough and will definitely order from you again, especially now I have spotted the Unicorn and Dinosaur afternoon teas on your website!

Freezing cold as door to play area at the back was wide open as was the front door, creating a wind tunnel. As my friend and I were the only 2 people there I asked if we could shut the door and was told no because of health and safety because of kids area but there were no kids!! Took 15 minutes to even get a coffee, and the food was overpriced- they had brie and bacon, or brie and cranberry sauce-I like all three so asked for this and was charged an extra £1.30! Harsh.

I ordered an afternoon tea for my sister’s birthday, and we were not disappointed! We both have allergies, and this posed no problem at all. We were accommodated with two absolutely delicious afternoon teas, free of anything we might have had a reaction to. The sandwiches were so good. The bread was really fresh, and the fillings super tasty. The mini quiches were a lovely touch, and there was a great selection of mini cakes. Obviously, the scones with clotted cream and jam were amazing!!!! Everything had been freshly prepared, and that made a big difference to how everything tasted, SO good!! We had the best socially distanced afternoon tea picnic in the park, topped off with some thermos flasks of hot tea that we had brought with us. A birthday to remember! I would 100% recommend. Fantastic, friendly service, excellent value for money. Will definitely be treating ourselves again in the not too distant future. Thank you so much!! 💕😋

Basically paid 4.50 for a sandwich that had cheap shop bought hummus, with 1 tomato and 4 pieces of lettuce. Nice bread though. Too expensive..!

27/6/19 Have been in previously, came back to see if it had changed. Eva (whose last day it is) was spot on perfect with a request for an iced mocha, was the best I've had in UK. The choco orange jaffa cake was soft & tasty. Wishing Eva all the best for the future.

Staff were friendly enough. Good however was definitely not worth the money. 3 Sunday roasts, everything overcooked except for the peas & carrots which was the best thing on the plate! The cauliflower cheese however was raw, you could get a knife or a fork into it!

Unfortunately, it appears to us this cafe is no longer in business..we walked completely around the several buildings in the vicinity after completing a leg of our Cotswold Way walk and awaiting transportation. There was no signage indicating a cafe either. Additionally the website link is defunct also. If I'm mistaken and we simply couldn't find it or some other reason, apologies and best of luck to others (and disregard the single star of course).

Come here 4 - 5 times a year when working in the area and have been satisfied enough in the past but. I can only think there has been a change of some sort, not the usual standard, the food served up did not reflect the menu description, it wasn’t far off but the Pork, apple & cider terrine with toasted sourdough and whipped herb butter came with warm bread and a standard slab of butter and the £24 lamb shank shepherds pie had more mash than anything else and the “cheddar crust” was a sea of melted cheese, the shank was nice though. For a meal at £30+ I’d expect more.
