I visited with my 9-month-old twins and had a toastie, which was reasonably priced and very nice. It came with a little pot of tomato sauce/soup stuff on the side, which was a good added bonus. Coffee very nice and a generous size cup. Nice, peaceful garden at the back. Helpful staff. It made my day after a stressful morning chasing two uncooperative babies around a baby massage class!!

This little cafe is a great place to stop off and enhances the park. They are always running events and engaging with the community in a way that didn't really exist prior to their opening. It can be incredibly busy, which is just testament to how needed the cafe was, and I appreciate staffing levels must be hard to manage given how quiet it might be the next day. The regular staff are great and obviously work hard to train junior members whilst keeping up with service. Food is nice and not overdone or over priced. They offer a loyalty scheme on top of that for hot drinks. It's not an easy world out there for small businesses such as this, and they are in subtle ways invaluable to the places they serve.

I decided to nip in on my own with my 2 year old and baby. There were two tables left - and one was a small one, perfect for me and little ones. There were no menus around so I asked someone who pointed they they were tucked away on a shelf. I was then told to order I would have to leave the cafe and order from the outside “takeaways” hatch. So the only way I could order would be to stand outside in a queue for 20 minutes with 2 small children and quite likely loose the table. I was only stopping as a quick convenience so I left. What is the point of having a cafe if no one will serve you?

Such a shame that the service at the Bean Tree Cafe has gone downhill over the past 4 months or so. Me and my wife used to get a takeaway coffee as part of our daily walk during her lunch hour but the service got so slow that we ended up stood around outside for 15 - 20 minutes or more on a regular basis waiting for drinks even when the cafe was basically empty - it was ridiculous. When the drinks finally arrived it was always a lottery as to whether they were hot or luke warm. Having persevered for a long time as we always try and support local businesses (and were once members of the Friends Of Page Park) we eventually gave up on it and don’t waste our time there any more. It’s such a crying shame as the cafe should be the jewel in the crown of our beautiful park but the awful service and substandard (at times) drinks let it down.

I wanted to like this place as it looked my sort of place but on a busy Sunday morning it seemed to be overwhelmed with the customers it was trying to serve. As a group of 5, our order was split into a 2 & a 3 - the 2 got drinks (lukewarm) served immediately, but the 3 drink order placed straight after took over 15minutes to arrive! Really frustrating as there seemed lots of staff (too many cooks…?) in the kitchen but no one seemed to be in overall control and leading what appeared to be an unenthusiastic team. The coffee we had - when it eventually arrived, was very good quality. I hope they do get their act together as the venue and the setting would make it an ideal meting point for so many people.

Just stopped by chance and found a lovely friendly cafe with a really nice atmosphere in a classic British park. Outside seating and shady trees mean that even Covid can’t ruin the relaxation value of this place. Will return, includes added bonus of cheerful young staff!

Happy to provide a gluten free sandwich which is important for us gluten free types! Jacket potatoes are good, friendly service, relaxed atmosphere as there are always lots of little ones around as it is a handy stop off when visiting the park.

Simple toasties like when you were a kid with lovely fillings. Choose the coleslaw with it rather than the slightly watery but homemade tomato soup. Friendly and bright.

The food is really nice how ever for those who earn less money it would appear to be a tad expensive. The hot chocolate is the best I’ve tasted.. much better than places like Starbucks and costa. Would recommend a visit 👍🏼👍🏼

The cafe has been open a year already. It's situated in one of South Gloucestershire's big parks that holds alot of events through the year. I decided it was time i try their coffee after a year. The service for a Sunday afternoon near closing time was very good. The two staff members were friendly and polite, thanks to them. The bathrooms were smelly and need a proper clean. The seating area in the cafe is very cramped, can't get a push chair or wheel chair between tables which could be a problem for families with children or general wheel chair users. Cake slices on the front counter had no lids or covers on them just the wooden chopping boards they had been placed on which i find to be unhygienic. The cappuccino was acceptable and went down a treat on such a chilly day.

I wanted to love this cafe in beautiful Page park. The positives wonderful setting, good baby changing facilities, cake amazing. The negatives £4.50 for a small bowl of soup with sliced packet bread. I ordered a children's mezze for my toddler- really disappointing a tiny portion of grapes, few cucumber , carrot, raisin, dry pitta bread and a cheese slice . The service was very slow about half an hour for our meals. Would visit again for cake not for lunch .

Nice modern cafe in pretty page park - definitely aimed it those with little ones. Not especially big but we got a table and there’s outdoor seating too. Small menu but a few toasties, coffees, cakes etc. Toastie was very nice with soup dipper which was a nice touch. Nice service. Baby changing facilities dirty / untidy however which was a little offputting.

Absolutely fantastic place. We visited today and the ping pong table and games were out for he children. The man behind the counter was incredibly friendly and he interacted with the children and even played with them. All the staff were very polite and we had food. The food was reasonably priced and they had gluten free as an option too! We will definitely be back. Thank you

We went to Page Park & specifically to visit the new outdoor market stalls - we thought we'd try the new cafe. Ordered coffee & scones; had a bit of a wait for the coffee but it was very busy; then the scones came over; we were presented with out of date clotted cream; we queried this; told the cream is frozen; however; we could have been advised this before paying for the scones; we might not have bought them knowing this; because; how long had the cream been out of the freezer? We did choose to eat the scones though; only to find that they were very dry & very chewy. The coffee was good and you can get a coffee loyalty card which is stamped when you buy coffee & you get the 9th coffee free. The toilets are very clean but no toilet roll holder in one of the toilets. It was extremely busy in the cafe with not a lot of space between each table but perhaps this was due to the market stalls inside the cafe. It's good to see the cafe doing so well; as I used to live right next to the park.

We had all been looking forward to this new cafe in Page Park, Staple Hill, Bristol. It had been funded by lottery grants awarded to the Friends of Page Park so the assumption was this would be an inclusive space for everyone. Can't speak for...

Staff were friendly enough. Good however was definitely not worth the money. 3 Sunday roasts, everything overcooked except for the peas & carrots which was the best thing on the plate! The cauliflower cheese however was raw, you could get a knife or a fork into it!

Unfortunately, it appears to us this cafe is no longer in business..we walked completely around the several buildings in the vicinity after completing a leg of our Cotswold Way walk and awaiting transportation. There was no signage indicating a cafe either. Additionally the website link is defunct also. If I'm mistaken and we simply couldn't find it or some other reason, apologies and best of luck to others (and disregard the single star of course).

Great food and service every time , the meat from the shop is top quality and all locally sourced. Will definitely be returning with friends

Went here a few years ago, the staff didn't seem very happy, and the welcome was cold unfortunately. Cake was dry.
