Had a lovely family roast, plenty of food, and lovely staff. Had a great time, highly recommend to anybody who wants great food

Visited after a long day and can say it was more than welcoming and top service. Everyone was very friendly! Onto the food it was incredible, fish was so perfectly cooked with a crispy outer and a soft fish inside. Would most definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for the top fish and chips!

We have just had our wedding reception/party here, the help we got right from the time of booking to the day after our event was excellent. Lovely events room, first class buffet, the whole team who we came into contact with were exceptional. We also hired the in-house disco which was excellent. Our thanks go out to you all for the efforts you put in to make sure our special day was one to be remembered forever. Anyone thinking of staging an event here, we would highly recommend it! Superb Indian take away. Very reasonably priced and friendly, helpful service. Recommended.

Waited to be shown to our table (table prebooked). Waited another 10/15 minutes to be asked if we’d like a drink. Waited nearly half an hour til I got up and went to the bar to enquire where they were. Food served after about an hour. Missing salad which still never arrived after notifying the waitress. Overall, food ok but service was pretty terrible in a restaurant that was not overly busy.

Food was late. Had to reheat it first as it was cold. It would have been a 5 star for quality had it not been cold. It takes me two minutes to walk to restrant . So why so long driving. Also had to walk to main road to collect. Good food but poor cu

Having used this takeaway for around 6 years now and never had a complaint I’m afraid the last two meals have been absolutely awful the chicken looks like it’s been rubberised and covered in slime totally dismal and the rice is sticky and gloopy so I’m afraid it’s time to try somewhere else

Uninterested staff and poorly cooked, greasy food. The food portion size is a joke compared to what they charge for it, the place is uninviting and cold. The individual cooking was more interested in her paper than she was in what she prepared. When this place was the Oakdale Fisheries it was 1st class… now, you’re better off heading to the Tatnam or to Creekmoor to spend your money.

As soon as I cut into the haddock I could smell that it was not fresh. A very pungent smell. My son’s haddock also had a very pungent smell. The chips had obviously been re-cooked . At a cost of £35 for the full 5 meals it can only be described as disgusting . I think that trading standards should make a visit to these premises.

This is only the second time I've been in here.. The last time was before lockdown, when we ordered coffee which was luke-warm. We complained and was met with a very curt reply, " we aren't allowed to make it too hot. Health and Safety!" We said we'd like it warming up but they refused. We came back today, as it appeared to be under a new name "Coffee Society" We had to pay an extra 60p per cup for oat milk, and again it was Luke warm. Had to order a pot of boiling water to warm it up ( which made it really weak. ) £8.45 for 2 drinks!!! Looking up, there were cobwebs everywhere, and it wasn't very clean. Never again.

Estimated Delivery time 60 Mins from ordering, arrived an hour and 40 minutes later. Meal was warm at best and the smallest portion of rice and naan possible. Charged £1.00 delivery for 1/4 mile if that! Fab when it was the previous Joy but won’t be using these again.
