I went with my parents to see my sister in Poole. We wanted to go out for a meal, we heard that the fern were doing early evening meals, as it was local to my sister and free parking we went. I had the chicken and chorizo pasta with a side salad which was very tasty, parents both had the tuna salad and really enjoyed it and my sister had the mushroom linguine all with garlic bread, it’s a bring your own alcohol if required so you don’t have the markup and you get your exact tipple! We all apart from sister had the jam rolly poly with custard, we all loved it! Great place, family feel would definitely recommend it.

This place is a real treat. Have eaten all around the world and eaten fast food fresh food and continental food but this place has all tastebuds covered. From your typical British fryup to avocado and poached eggs. Jacket potatoes with freshly made fillings. Ice cream and homemade puddings and the most amazing chocolate brownies. They also do an evening bistro with a simple menu which everyone will enjoy something . They don’t have a licence but you are free to take your own alcoholic beverages but they charge for corkage etc. All ages welcome and very child friendly. A wonderful place to go!

The landlord had a foul mouth and a bad attitude. We all LOVED IT would recommend to all that like a good choice of ales and a knees up. God rest you Eileen and Joyce Scum

Seven of us (family) stopped here whilst on Poole Quay area for an afternoon drink. Great, friendly service and good quality house wines at £19 per bottle. Cosy and friendly atmosphere. On our favourite list.

Today my husband and I had roast lamb and fresh vegetables. It was freshly cooked stuffing Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and tasty gravy. Thank you to Debbie ( staff) for friendly service. Recommend to anyone who enjoys a Sunday roast to try Millies Cove first.

We visited this establishment on a Tuesday lunch time. There was outdoor seating available we chose to sit there and watch the world go by. Orders were taken at the table, but I would note you had to go inside when you wanted to pay. We both ordered Ham egg and chips, which was disappointing. The egg ( yes only 1) was cooked in a ring ( very McDonald’s esq) and was very overdone. No runny yolk as one would expect with this dish to dip chips and ham into. The Ham was ok, and the chips passable but sparse. I’d say possibly we made a bad decedent with what we ordered, however it’s not difficult to get this british staple meal right. I’d say overpriced based on our meal that day. I wouldn’t choose to go back. On a side note and this is outside of the proprietors control. We were bothered several times by shady characters whilst sat outside establishment. All trying to sell counterfeit or stolen perfume and tobacco. They are quite persistent and off putting.
