Had a lovely family roast, plenty of food, and lovely staff. Had a great time, highly recommend to anybody who wants great food

Popped down for a Full breakfast to take away and it was brilliant. Phoned ahead and was ready within 15 minutes. Big portions and great value. Highly recommended and a polite and friendly owner. Will definitely be back.

Absolute gem of a place. Believe the reviews - fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere, fantastic ethos. It's a regular treat for us to have brunch at Rob's. It's the place we would take non-UK visitors to show them the best of British culture. Just, outstanding.

Been before for breakfast, but this time was a delicious Sunday roast followed by the best homemade cheesecake . And if you like a bit of banter with your food Uncle Mark & Uncle Rob are the perfect accompaniment.

This place is so amazing with the best and friendliest people serving the most amazing Sunday Roast. If you get a chance then don’t hesitate to visit you definitely won’t regret it.

We went for a famous Sunday roast. It did not disappoint. There was a 1pm sitting so all meals were served together with a choice of four meats. So much food and Yorkshires were on everyone’s plate regardless of your choice of meat. While we were still eating the staff were offering more roasties, yorkshires and gravy. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

First time I came was so my mum could have breakfast after I (foolishly) had chosen a healthy option somewhere else. Fresh homemade bread, the most delicious sausages (mum let me try hers) I’ll be back for my own! Last night I came for dinner, I had Lobster and mum had the pork chop. Wow! The food is amazing here! The hospitality of the staff is on another level too, you are immediately made to feel at home. Prices are great. There’s always a great atmosphere as there’s always regular customers eating and saying how their food was fantastic as always. I’ll become that person, it’s worth the drive from Hythe in Southampton!

Had a fantastic meal at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Booking a table is advised as they do not have a massive seating area. You will not be disappointed.

We came down from London to poole to see a couple of really good long time friends Brenda and Mark and decided they would take us out for a meal and didn't really tell us anything about this restaurant. When we pulled up outside I had a little smile on my face and owell let's give this a try. We'll I'm glad me and the did WHAT A FANTASTIC PLACE everyone was nice and friendly right from the start. Sat down and studied the menu pizza fresh fish and meat dishes spoilt for choice the food was coming out to other tables and everything just looked amazing and not small portions either. When our meals turned up I got stuck in to mine wow what an experience from start to finish. Gob smacked 10 out 10 what a gem of a place can't wait to return back to robs filling station for some more of this excellent food. We'll be back for sure. On getting down to Poole, we googled 'best brunches' and came across 'Rob's filling station'. Both Rob and Mark were so friendly and would have been happy to cook anything we wanted. On their recommendation, we had baked eggs and it was delicious! This place really is a hidden gem and we would recommend anyone visiting Poole to try it. Thankyou to you both...and wishing you all the very best with your charity fund raising.

What great places! 10/10 simply amazing.

An absolutely unexpected gem. You do turn up and wonder what you've let yourself in for but once the food starts coming out you understand why others have rated this so highly. We were 4 adults and 4 kids and we had turned up slightly early without booking but they welcomed us in. We all had amazing meals, from starter to desert, all of which was very fresh, great portion sizes and very reasonably priced.

We went for dinner and it was so delicious, there were 6 of us and we ordered from the special menu and the pizza menu. We took our own beer and wine and Robs provided the wine glasses! Everything was perfect, the portion sizes were very generous, my husband had the seafood and there was so much in his bowl, he said it was delicious! The staff were extremely friendly and very interested to know that everything was ok with food and service. Its was like fine dining in a car park setting and we can not wait to go back. Highly recommended, be sure to book a table. We loved it.

We love this place!!! It’s got everything you could ever want!! Best food, best atmosphere and dog friendly!! As for Sunday lunches… omg, brace yourself!! They are THE BEST in Dorset… also, if you’ve room for pud (highly unlikely as the lunches are HUGE!) try their homemade cheesecake… then go and have a lie down as you’ll need it!! Best in the business ♥️

Absolutely fantastic meal from the wonderful staff at RFS as usual!! Food was fresh, massive portion, Piping hot and delicious!! Pudding as always was a great finisher. Staff were fantastic from Mark and Rob in the kitchen cooking & Megan who looked after us all evening. Even keeping the 2 little ones entertained, allowing us to enjoy our meals! Absolutely rubbish Sunday lunch could,nt even make out what we were eating it was so bad .Cant believe we were charged £10 EACH for a small dinner . Did,nt eat any of it . Very disappointed definitely would not have his food delivered to me again .wish I,d taken a photo of it it was that bad and I would of put it online for everyone to see how disgusting it was. My sister-in-law bought it for me as a treat!! Poor Jeannie kept apologising to me she was soo embarrassed.

I visited Rob's Filling Station and was thrilled! The food was delicious and full of flavor. The atmosphere was incredibly pleasant, making me feel right at home. The staff was friendly and professional. I sincerely recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a cozy vibe. I'll definitely be back!

Lovely people there doing a great thing. Lady waitress we had was so friendly and really looked after us. The 2 guys running it also really made you feel welcome and had such passion for their great food. This place is a real hidden gem and you must try.

Organised event for a Morris Team, our xmas social. Only we could have our event land on the coldest night this winter. However although this was outside a massive gazebo (with sides) we had heaters. The food was absolutely amazing, however the pud looked rude but was so tasty. Great night had by all

Wasn't sure what to expect from this place. A couple of gazebos on an old garage forecourt. Food was great, tasty, fresh and mostly homemade. Children loved making their own pizzas. I'm happy to take my own alcohol. Staff were welcoming, and with interesting stories. My feet were a bit cold though when we left.

Top place, great home-cooked food and fantastic service. Don’t be put off by it being in a tent.

Came here earlier today for a family dinner, i have never in my life been somewhere so friendly and accommodating, everyone make us feel so welcome and not to mention the food was amazing!! don’t think i can ever buy a shop bought Kiev ever again! we all absolutely loved the atmosphere along with the food and the super friendly and chatty staff, safe to say we will all be back soon. This is my favourite place in Poole to go for breakfast by far! I also love their dinners when they do 3 course meals. The atmosphere is fantastic, Rob, Mark, Debbie & Megan are truly the best! Nothing is ever too much trouble and are always up for a chat aswell as serving great food!

We went here yesterday in the morning and both ordered the full breakfast. I have to say I think I cook a good breakfast at home so I'm a bit picky when it comes to eating breakfast out. This was, without doubt, the best breakfast I've ever eaten out. Very well cooked and presented , all the ingredients were delicious and the products used really nice topped off with farmhouse bread for toast. It's a lovely atmosphere with the staff being so friendly and making sure we were satisfied with what we had. We would thoroughly recommend and are looking forward to trying the Sunday roast and evening dinners. This really is a gem, so pop along and try and whilst doing so add an extra tip or donate to Robs fund for building a surgical unit to benefit the whole community. Unusal location but great place with a great atmosphere topped off by some great food. Portions were massive and tasty. Served by a wonderful team who make you feel so welcome.

Have reviewed RFS before but it needs more than one 5* review from me! Have been many times and it is never less than amazing. Great food, endless cups of tea or coffee and the very best company in Rob, Mark and Megan.my son and grandson when visiting from Berkshire always insist on an RFS brekkie and our family who visited from the USA Christmas ‘22, said they had never had a better meal, in a tent, in a car park, in the middle of December!!! Keep doing what you are doing guys and we will keep coming. Project Q is on the horizon!

Was going great until I bit into a sausage to find a massive piece of plastic in it.. complained to owner wha said sorry sometimes the packaging gets mixed up, no refund offered or exchange or even an apology for the cut mouth. Never again

Rob's filling station did us a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner tonight. Who knew they could make pumpkin pie? Everything was lovely and they all went out of their way to make it special for us.

Drove down from Bath to try a legendary roast at rob's, a 2 hour trip. Legendary fails to describe how good an experience it was, although it was our first time visiting, within moments we were made to feel like old friends. The whole experience was one big pleasure, superbly cooked food, the staff were friendly and caring to all of the customers, giving the place the atmosphere of a family gathering. Definitely planning a return trip.

Had an incredible Sunday Lunch today with friends, Hot and plentiful and service is with a cheeky smile. All the staff are super attentive and even came round and offered extra veg, potato’s, gravy and Yorkshire Puddings We “forced” ourselves to have pudding and the cheese board was plenty for two, the rest of us had the amazing apple crumble and custard Recommended to other friends via text whilst we were still sat at our table Will return both for Sunday Lunch and Dinner at the weekends ❤️

A rough and ready shack, but don't let that fool you. Mark, the chef, is one of the friendliest people you're likely to meet, and his food is really good. Not the cheapest place to eat, but the portions are generous and clearly made from quality ingredients. Even the sausages used in the hot dogs are his own recipe and made exclusively for him. And how many other places do you know that serve chip butties? Or dirty chip butties (with cheese and paprika)

We found RFS on TripAdvisor and stopped off for brunch before getting on the ferry at Poole. It was a fantastic experience in a very unusual setting. The food was excellent. My wife and I had delicious BLTs - freshly baked bread and excellent ingredients....

For what it is, gazebo's on a car park by industrial units,it's pretty good, the food was ok meat was a bit chewy and knives are blunt (Beef roast). The staff are very good polite and funny. However that said I have only been once but will try a breakfast there. The story/life journey Rob has to tell and the excitement for the future are inspiring. It's worth a visit it is what it is.

Popped in for a breakfast roll and it didn't disappoint! Sausages were good quality meat from a local butcher, egg was cooked to perfection. Probably the best I've had round here. Really friendly and chilled atmosphere. Super dog friendly too which makes the visit even more welcoming :) lovely friendly staff who enjoy chatting to customers! This place is amazing. It's everything and anything you want it to be. Rob & Mark put so much passion into everything they do which is reflected in the excellent food they make. Rob loves to get the kids making their own pizzas (which take 100 seconds in the pizza oven) which my daughter absolutely loves. Whether you come for breakfast, lunch or dinner you will be welcomed and treated like a friend rather than a guest. After your first visit you'll be looking for any reason to come back again. These guys are serious about what they do but very relaxed about how they do it and this is what makes the place so unique.
