First time eating here and will not be the last one… We had the best Sunday roast with turkey and the homemade tiramisu was perfect. We recommend this place 100%!

A warm welcome from the staff, who are excellent at understanding customer needs and could answer every question put to them about the menu and drink selections. Food flavour and quality is by far the best Italian food in Bournemouth or Poole, it is really that good. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a warm ambience and excellent food, cooked and served by staff who are a class above.

Great Italian food. Restaurant is done out fantastic. Staff are brilliant, reusable price for fantastic fresh food. Highly recommended the t bone steak for two was cooked to perfection. Packed out restaurant but not to loud which is great. The restaurant suits couples and families perfectly. Offering 50% on kids meals makes it so much sweeter. Enjoy

We took friends out to dinner and they were very happy with the meal. The Staff were friendly as usual and the place was full for most of the evening.

We had a wonderful evening at Fineezza last Friday and the standard and quantity of the food was excellent, and the service was second to none. We never felt rushed through any of our courses, and they delivered the food to the table when required and even at the end of the night, we never felt that we had to leave and they gave us plenty of time to relax and have another drink, once we had finished our meal, so thanks for a great night out.

For our first time dining at Finezza in Poole, we chose it for a celebration with friends, and it truly delivered. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food was simply outstanding, with each dish surpassing our expectations. Finezza is definitely a place to consider if you're looking for a memorable meal in a relaxed, yet special atmosphere. Highly recommended!

This was our first visit, staff where lovely, service was good, food was nice but not quite what I was expecting, the menu should have clearer descriptions, I ordered the crab claws for starter, presentation was nice although the lettuce was going brown so a little off putting, the crab meat inside was a very strange substance not crab meat at all, my husband had to eat them as I found it unpleasant. I also tried the lasagna, it was very tasty but had a very thick layer of melted cheese on the top which I could not eat. My husband enjoyed his meal very much. Will definitely go again and try other dishes, maybe menu could be a bit clearer.

Fabulous Italian restaurant serving delicious food - great atmosphere and friendly staff. One of the best Tiramisu’s I’ve ever had. Don’t be put off by its location on busy Poole Road - give it a try. You can park in nearby Tesco. Highly recommended!

Tonight was our first night at this amazing restaurant and it did not disappoint. The service from the off was spot on. Very friendly and polite. Our food was so good and tasty. My pizza, just perfect. The Tiramisu was to die for! I would highly, highly recommend going here, you will not be disappointed!. Will definitely be back.

A lovely quiet meal on a Thursday night. The food was wonderful. The tagliatelle al tartufo was one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten.

Lovely Italian meal, we had the calzone pizza and seafood linguine. Dessert was tiramisu and profiteroles Really lovely. Staff were very attentive and great atmosphere.

We are regular visitors to the area and have eaten here on every trip. Unfortunately we felt our latest visit was of poor quality and not value for money. This is reflected in the scores given. One meal was returned for being cold which made the whole eating experience disjointed.

Four of us dined on Saturday evening for a birthday celebration. To start, two ordered prawn cocktails, which arrived about 10-15 minutes apart! The prawns on the late arrival were warm. Two of us shared a bruschetta, which was just ok. Three out of our four main courses were sent back to the kitchen. I ordered risotto with prawns, which was actually horrible, and not the normal consistency of risotto. It tasted almost metallic - my friend tasted it and thought it was like ammonia! Two others had the tagliatelle with fillet steak, which was equally poor and tasteless. The fourth meal was edible but neither tasty nor special. In defence of the restaurant, we were offered an alternative, but none of us wanted more food from their kitchen. We were charged 50% of the cost of the main courses. That night there was a large party in attendance, and maybe the chef just couldn’t cope. A disappointment as I had eaten there before. Sadly, not again.

My partner and I frequently come here for a meal and each time is fantastic. The food is fresh and portion sizes are very reasonable, and tastes amazing. Wait time is not long and the staff are very polite. I cannot fault them.

Long wait time, around 30 minutes to order food and another 40 minutes for it to come out. The pizzas we had were extremely average - not heavy dough but quite bland - and as a result felt overpriced. The breaded chicken was lacking severely in seasoning and the blue cheese sauce lacked blue cheese, tasting just very creamy. The staff are nice, but there are not enough of them, and potentially have a poor system for serving people that results in them missing orders.

Took 45 minutes for them to take our order and then took another 30 minutes to come. The food was mediocre and not worth the tremendous wait. Very disappointing that one waiter did not understand how to order food and needed to have her colleague do it instead. Awful! Do not go here!!

Great food but allergies not very clear on menu

My mother and father attended this restaurant on 18 April 2024 with a dear friend who had just lost his partner. Unfortunately, the coat stand fell on my mother and injured her head which made her extremely groggy and felt unwell. At the time of writing – 4 days later – she still has a visible lump caused by this incident. If it had just been her and my father, she would have asked to go home as she did not feel well and therefore could not enjoy her food. However, she did not want to let their friend down in his hour of need. To be clear, she could only eat a small amount of the child's portion of ravioli which she had ordered and contacted the restaurant directly to raise the issue. She suggested that they relocate the coat stand to a position where it could not injure someone in the future. Finezza contacted her on 20 April 2024 and told her that “Safety is our top priority and the owners have been informed about the incident”. There was no offer of any form of resolution and they did not check on her wellbeing following the incident. Having visited Finezza previously, this was an extremely disappointing interaction to say the least. **EDIT FOLLOWING FINEZZA’S RESPONSE BELOW** Finezza have disappointingly – and I feel purposely – provided inaccurate information in their response. At no point did my father say that he “himself…dropped it on the lady by accident”. If they had checked the CCTV, which they claim to have done, then they would have seen that he was seated the furthest from my mother at the table so that could not have possibly happened. The comments of them “smiling” and that “they didn’t complain or mention anything to” the owners is totally irrelevant. As mentioned previously, they were treating their lifelong friend to an evening out (whose partner had just tragically passed away). They were therefore not motivated to complain and possibly ruin the evening for anyone dining at their table. To be abundantly clear, the “free drinks” mentioned were as a result of the conversation which took place with their friend; not them as individuals or as a couple. To state that this review has been written in an attempt to “get free food or compensation” is absolutely flabbergasting and – once again – completely untrue. Customers are perfectly entitled to leave an honest and factual review in a public forum and those comments indicate that Finezza have failed to take ownership of the issues caused that evening. Very disappointing and frustrating.

Nice food and service but loud, echoey and all the atmosphere of a hotel dinning room. Had a nicer atmosphere before the expansion.

The food was amazing however when asked to take the rest of the pizza to take away it was put in a small foil box with the pizza slices stacked on top of each other

The perfect end to an exhausting weekend where I couldn’t face cooking. The Linguine alla Carbonara was super tasty and good portion although I could have eaten two as it was so delicious! We will be back 😃

Started off for good value lunches which for our age group was perfect. Service and lunch atmosphere very friendly and good. Then...no more lunches for a time and the menu became boring. If it had ITALIAN food other than pizza pasta etc. would have liked evening dishes like calves liver, veal escalop and veg. etc. but none available. Miss REAL Italian food which is not easily found near Bournemouth to Branksome. PATSy

Georgia and his team always make us feel so welcome. They are brilliant with my Dad who has dementia. It has a family run feel, delicious Italian/ Greek menu. Pizzas are generously topped, gorgeous authentic base. We come here regularly and would highly recommend.

1st time visit Good menu, lovely tasty food

Came for Valentine’s Day, great place - well decorated and nice calm music at the perfect volume. Had a rose waiting for us on the table as well as complimentary Prosecco and amaretto shots. Couldn’t fault the service and food delicious. Prices no higher than the cheap chains but much more intimate feel and great vibe.

If you are looking for authentic and tasty Italian cuisine in Poole, I recommend you to visit the restaurant Finezza Branksome¹. It is a family restaurant that serves traditional dishes from different regions of Italy, prepared with high quality ingredients and with great attention to detail. Together with my wife, we ordered two main courses: POLLO FINEZZA and POLLO GORGONZOLA E SPINACI. POLLO FINEZZA is a chicken fillet in a cheese and asparagus sauce . POLLO GORGONZOLA E SPINACI is a chicken fillet in a sauce with gorgonzola cheese and spinach, served with potatoes and salad. Both dishes were delicious, the meat was juicy and aromatic, and the sauces were perfectly seasoned and creamy. The portions were generous and filling, but not heavy. For dessert, we got a glass of Amaretto from the restaurant, a sweet almond liqueur that matched our mood and ended our meal. Amaretto is a traditional Italian drink that has its roots in Saronno⁴. It has a delicate, slightly bitter taste that stimulates the senses and improves digestion. The service in the restaurant was wonderful, kind and professional. The waiters were polite, smiling and helpful. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant, warm and family-like. The music was calm and unobtrusive, and the interior was decorated with taste and elegance. In conclusion, our visit to the restaurant Finezza Branksome was very successful and we will definitely come back. We recommend this restaurant to all lovers of Italian cuisine and not only. Good Food and Service with a nice atmosphere

When you go to a restaurant you have certain expectations and Finezza delivered on all of mine. Lovely food, good drinks, great atmosphere, friendly and polite staff and a head waiter who leads by example…. And what a great example he is. The atmosphere and ambiance was just so good and we got chatting to a family on the next table who were celebrating a birthday and they even shared their cake with us. As evening go tonight was definitely a 10/10.

We visited and I have to say the food was absolutely gorgeous. We had the sharing meats&cheese for starters and then a prawns and a something chorizo dish (I'm so sorry I can't remember the menu!) But everything was so nice. The place itself has a very clean feel to it and they had put extra heating in to make it toasty and warm given how horrid the weather was outside. The staff were attentive and friendly. We are definitely going to revisit and tell friends about this. Reasonably priced too, it's a hidden gem in branksome that I would advise a visit if you love Italian food.

I had the Cabonarra it was nice and creamy portion size was great quite generous we were able to share with my family that wanted a taste. Sitting and environment is quite relaxed they had heating as well close to us with the option to turn it off of course. The waiter was lovely

So pleased to find an Italian serving gluten free pizzas and pasta dishes. My husband said it was the best GF pizza he had ever had out . Great size and lots of tasty toppings. Starters and mains are large. Service is warm and friendly. We will definitely be back again especially as it’s so local to us.

Amazing food, friendly staff, beautiful restaurant!

Where better to go when you are with family than an Italian restaurant and this one didn’t disappoint. Easily seating 10 of us on one long table we were really well looked after during our time there. The food didn’t disappoint either, none of our group had any complaints, we all found our food very tasty, whether it was pizza or pasta. Definitely book though, as it’s so popular it gets very busy. If your planning to spend a long evening there the drinks bill will increase your spend considerably but food prices tend to be on par with most other restaurants and in my opinion, well worth it. This is one restaurant that we will definitely suggest going to again when we are next visiting.

My first visit to this restaurant on Saturday 2 December 2023. There was 10 of us, food was excellent, atmosphere was great, location good and service was excellent. Staff so friendly and cannot do enough for you. Highly recommended will definitely be returning.

Beautiful setting, the restaurant has a lovely ambience and the staff are very attentive. However, the food did let it down. The risotto was lacking in flavour, didn't have very much pancetta in it and didn't have that creamy texture that you look for, it also arrived at the table within minutes of ordering so wasn't cooked fresh to order. The pizza was acceptable, average. The carbonara was very oily with a pool of grease left in the bowl. This was mentioned to staff however no follow up from them. The restaurant itself is very nice, however the food is lacking that same sparkle.

Food was tasty, service was good, didn’t have to wait long. From entering to exiting took 1 hour.
