Estimated Delivery time 60 Mins from ordering, arrived an hour and 40 minutes later. Meal was warm at best and the smallest portion of rice and naan possible. Charged £1.00 delivery for 1/4 mile if that! Fab when it was the previous Joy but won’t be using these again.

Ordered Tikks main course and a Madras with poppodom. Arrived with no salad, charged for Mint Sauce that is always free everywhere else with Tikka. Just to cap off bad night only half a poppodom!!! Not good!!

Absolutely beautiful and after 5 times it is consistent which is hard to say for many takeaways. I wouldn't actually go anywhere else now for delivery orders and considering I'm married to an Asian guy that says a lot. Can't rate this high enough

We regularly like to try new indian restaurants and have ordered from many, and I thought I could not find a worse indian restaurant than my closest one which is the awful cinnamon tree, however I was wrong. The only positive I have is the food was warm when it arrived. The chicken dhansak was horrible very salty tough dry chicken and lumps of part cooked tomato which I have never encountered in a dhansak anywhere, the boiled rice was undercooked, the Tarka Dahl was runny and salty and the Nan doughy and soggy. Genuinely horrific and only fit to be dumped in the bin. Will never order again from here

First off I'll start with the pros. The order arrived within 15 minuets of ordering, the driver was friendly. The boiled rice was good and so was the naan for the most part. The order was piping hot when it arrived and unfortunately that's all that was good about it. The two curry dishes were absolutly tasteless. I admit I ordered a korma and tikka masala so I wasn't expecting hot spice but I was definitely expecting some sort of flavour. They both tasted absolutely bland, watery, and had the consistency of pureed baby food. They both tasted like boiled chicken, with maybe 8 peices of chicken in each. The onion bajis tasted like they had been microwaved (£3+ for 2 tiny portions) and the nan went really tough after a few minuets of being out of the bag, the poppadoms had been broken and tasted as if they had been cooked in old burnt oil and was 80p for a single one. But what made matters so much worse was when we called up to complain. The manager we spoke to was by far the rudest person I've ever spoken to. When we explained what we were unhappy about the meal here's a few examples of what we got: "you don't know what you're talking about '' it's a creamy dish it's meant to taste like that ' " you obviously ordered the wrong dish" "no one else has complained" then hung up on us. Absolutly gob smacked at the service. I read a mix of reviews and thought it was worth a shot, what an absolute waste of £25. Obviously won't be returning. Avoid at all costs. A jarred sauce will taste a million times better

We ordered our food at 6.30pm and we were told at the time of order it would be ready at 7.30. We then received a email to say it would be delayed until 7.50 at the latest. At 7.55 we called the spice house to be told it wasnt quite ready. Shocking !!! We had planned a nice family evening (yes we had a child which we explained to the restaurant when we called) and we are now without a meal on a saturday night at 8.15 pm

Really enjoyed our takeaway dinner. Had dal, chicken korma, lamb rogan gosh and bread and rice and it was really tasty. Price was reasonable and delivery was earlier than expected. Would recommend!

Indian takeaway is probably as important to me as my own Mum, so when I get a good one I have to shout about it at the top of my lungs (flipside, if it turns out to be disappointing I have been known to burst into tears on the spot) Spice House is definitely up there with my favourite restaurants in the whole of Dorset, and I really recommend ordering your next cheat night takeaway from here, you won't regret it. So myself and one of my absolute besties found this little beauty on Just Eat and decided to order enough food to choke a rhinoceros to death and pig out in front of the tv. I am a massive fatty so ordered there curries because I am an adult and can do whatever I want and I want to feed myself until I am pretty much housebound. Firstly, I ordered a lamb ceylon and seriously, not even exaggerating, it was literally PERFECT. Good sized portion, aromatic tender meat and a coconut explosion with just enough heat to tick all my boxes and leave me wanting to order a 4th curry. Second was my old favourite, a chicken tikka dahnsak, a lemony lentil-rice hot little number that made me feel immortal - Godlike, even as I folded the entire thing into my delirious face with glee and tried not to die from the sheer ecstasy I felt in that moment. The classic chicken tikka masala was next, I'm usually a hot curry type-a beeatch but love the velvety softness of a masala if it's executed well. And boy, this did not disappoint. Smooth, fruity and moreish, I was technically the size of a sealion by this time, one of those with the weird flappy neck skin that looks like an inflated beachball, but I gave that masala a good old crack with my pilau rice and managed a good third of it. Saag aloo was gorgeous, perfect gloopy thick texture and ratio of potato to spinach was spot on. Basically, if I could eat from here everyday of my life I would live on this beautiful food, but I'm not sure if my bank balance could hack it. Stop what you're doing and order from Spice House IMMEDIATELY.

My family and I ordered from Spice House for the first time yesterday evening. We all agreed that the food was fantastic! I can honestly say it was really delicious - I ordered a chicken madras, with mushroom rice and bombay potatoes. My sister-in-law had the vegetable phall, and she said it was the best she'd had in a long time. We will absolutely order from here again.

We were on holiday in the area and thought we'd give it a try. I've never found a takeaway that lives up to the standard of my local one back home. WOW this place is just as good if not better. So so tasty. Prices are amazing for the quality. We went back the next day for more!!!

Decided to order from here as there was a 25% discount. Food arrived hot and there was plenty of it, enough for 3 people so at around £5 a head proved excellent value. Would order from here again.

Don't bother. Ordered at 20.05. ETA 20.45. Arrived at 22.20. Had to reheat in the microwave. Hungry, and disappointed, and no customer service from the restaurant or Deliveroo. Tried to call restaurant four times. Twice they hung up. Twice went to answer phone. Finally Deliveroo called back and refused to cancel the order or compensate.

Chanced upon this place on the way back to our hotel following an event at The Lighthouse. It was quite late so we didn't expect to find a 'sit down' open anywhere but were accommodated at Tandoori Nights and treated to a really good meal. I'm no connoisseur of Indian/Bangladeshi food but know it can be bland and oily or just nuclear hot. We had the Garlic Chicken and Naga Meat curries and both were spicy, hot yet full of flavour. It doesn't look much from the outside but gave us a very welcome end to a pleasant evening.
