Food standard is good but spicier than expected. I'd never yet had a biryani whose veg curry was too spicy hot to eat, and my wife's korma had quite a kick. Just writing this to warn others who think certain dishes are mild ànd safe. We qot an unwelcome shock.

Awful place with really rude staff. They have recently received a very low hygiene rating of just 1 so it's best to avoid unless you want to risk food poisoning.

Ridiculous, we regularly ordered the set meal for 2 tonight arrived ridiculously spicy hot, it’s not worth eating beware we have had lots of meals in the past that have been very tasty, but over the last year. Also it has become ridiculously hot and spicy and not worth eating heart of India but your ideas up as this is poor service and your chef. Is losing you trade.

Food order 45 minutes late. When I rang to find out what was going on they lied to me. However the manager, Imran, rang me later that evening to apologise and offered me a free meal to the same value. Now that’s what I call rectifying a problem.

We get a takeaway after work most Wednesdays. We live about 15 miles away from this take way but it without doubt the best takeaway for Indian food for miles. Superb flavour and choice of food. Thanks Nikki

Thought to try this place for the first time following a menu delivered through out door. We just had a really lovely take out, one of the Sizzler meals for two and a couple extra dishes. Delivered within the estimated time scale by a friendly delivery driver. Everything present. Fresh salad (not a limp lettuce leaf in sight), tasty curry, crispy poppodums, and soft peshwari full of coconut. It really was delicious - consequently, we’ve decided to swap from our usual curry house.

Ordered a prawn biryani , pilau rice The biryani was rice with prawns No sauce so it wasn't a curry £9.50 the rice was not pilau Basically I paid £13 for rice

We were visiting friends and ended up staying for Saturday Night Dinner - we opted for an Indian takeaway . We've never used Heart of India before but our food was lovely ! We had a tikka mosola, bombay potatoes , garlic naan , Pilau rice , chicken passada and a chicken korma - everyone's curry was complimented while eating ! Easy to order and we didn't have to wait long to collect . Also had a discount code so got £10 off over the coronation weekend #winning

This use to be a great place for a takeaway but now it's not good at all . They now bulk out the food with onions and peppers with next to no chicken I'm it .

Half an hour over time food our food delivery, making it hour and 1hour 45 minutes for food.. when phoning to ask where our food was just got told “on the way, ok” very rude. Think we will be going elsewhere from now on. Customer service needs to be better.

Food is fine but I've been getting constant spam texts from company which I never allowed and with no option to stop them. I'd rather use companies that use less aggressive marketing tactics.

2 hour delivery time and rude staff. Rang up and kept cutting us off. Said waiting for a driver which is absolutely shocking when we ordered 2 hours ago! Will never use them again

Waited over an hr for delivery I made it quite clear what food I wanted and they still got it wrong when I rang them back they tried to blame it on me doubt I'd be ordering again!!And now I've got to reheat and wait another half an hr before I get my food..

Always use Heart of India for our takeaway curry. Great service, delivered to your door, easy online booking or phone call, nice to deal with. We normally get the set sizzler menu which is great value and more than enough for two. The curry has plenty of meat and tastes great. The side dishes are also very good. Would definitely recommended.

We ordered our takeaway at 4:15 and were told it would arrive by 5:25 at the latest (this fit with dinner time for our children). Food did not arrive by then so we called them and they said it was out for delivery. Our food arrived just before 6pm so much later than we were told. We also had the sides to a poppadom tray but no poppadoms so we called them and they said it would be 15 minutes for the poppadoms to arrive or we could have a voucher for free poppadoms in our next order. We went for the poppadoms being delivered and we are currently still waiting for those to arrive and it is now 8:30pm. The food was nice but quite cold and delivered very slowly. We will order our food from elsewhere next time as we were very disappointed.

Took over an hour to come, missing parts of the order no mint yogurt or salad?? When I called they told me the rest of the order would be delivered vert fast then over half an hour it arrived and all our food was cold, the chicken was over cooked it's our first time ordering and we are very disappointed 😞

Quick home delivery, superb food, good portion size, friendly staff, can’t fault Heart of India, Broadstone.

Its a shame. The Heart of India gone from one of the best in the area to "not to recommend". Is there new management? Deliveries slow, starters cold, curries flavourless and now over-priced. Website says free deliveries but in reality deliveries are charged. Complaints met with "we will deliver again" or " discount on next order". They must be aware that there are issues and not a good business method. Will seriously consider using in future.

I have been having food from here on a weekly bases for over 10 years. In the last few months/year something has clearly changed quite drastically. Orders have been messed up, cold food has been delivered, nan bread has been undercooked, wrong items have been delivered and even the taste has been not to a good standard. It’s such a shame I’ve experienced this, I’m no longer going to get food from here in the future.

We ordered a curry last night and we ordered from here as in the past we have had a nice meal from here but last night's food has put us off from using them again as we ordered our food just as they had opened and it didn't arrive until an hour and a half after ordering, we asked for extra cream on the lamb tikka masala and got the tiniest blob and it was too hot to be enjoyed, it ended up in the bin, when our food arrived it was cold. Takeaway food is by no means cheap these days and we expected better to be honest!!!!!

We haven't used The Heart of India in Broadstone during Covid. We tried this weekend. Unfortunately it is not the same. Ordering was easy. Delivery on time. Unfortunately the starters were cold and lacking in flavour. The curries and sides were fine. Checking the price we found that the price asked for was 11% higher than the web-site menu prices. I checked this and the starter issues with the venue. They were un-sympathetic. No real sympathy for cold starters and as far as the price difference, again un-sympathetic. I was told that the web-site is wrong. I have no problems with price increases but the till and the on-line takeaway menu prices should align. How else do you order a take-away. I asked to speak to a manager. First I was told he was busy and when pushed they said that he wasn't there. On a Saturday night? Strangely on-line menu prices changed next day. Never again

i have always used this indian takeaway and thought they did the tastiest currys but but over the years the currys are getting hotter and hotter, we had two currys last night and even the korma was spicy and I asked for the koria to be mild and that was too spicy. My friend who likes a spicy curry even agreed it was a bit much on previous orders. Please make a mild curry as in previous years

Ordered from here for the first time tonight. Food was prompt especially for a Saturday night friendly delivery guy. Food was absolutely superb lots of chicken in my Madras, food was delivered hot and was everything you would expect thick tasteful spicy and onion bhajis were to die for. Food was warm,portions have got a lot smaller to what we used to have. Keema naam came with 1 piece of meat in. Rice was dry,and hardly any chicken on bone even though I didnt order on the bone. Side salads in bag was basically lettuce with 1 piece of tomato and 1 piece of cucumber not very happy.

The food is good. We keep re-ordering. The restaurant are disorganised. They unfortunately screw up every order or very close to every order. Don’t expect to get what you order. It’s such a shame as a little more attention and they would nail it. More than 7 orders made so far...will order again but I know they will screw it up :-(

Food arrived later than advised - told 50mins, took 1.5 hours. When arrived, nan breads were burnt. ALL curries very very greasy. I could actually hold it up and pour it from the top. Chicken in all dishes very dry. Complimentary salad/onions...... ? Are onions that expensive that you get so little? I definitely won’t be ordering from here again and would advise others not to. Worth paying a bit more for A far superior takeaway. I suggest the 29029 .

Placed order online with an added request in the notes, advised online orders take 60 mins if not arrived do call, as waited 1 hour 20mins called, order was still waiting for delivery driver to return, order then arrived after another 20 mins, food was lukewarm, tasteless, complete lack of spice & watery, the request had not been auctioned either will not be ordering from Heart of India again!

We waited over 2 hours for a delivery, apparently they had underestimated how busy they would be when they sent out a discount code. I wouldn’t have minded if they had stated the wait time when we ordered. I think they were being greedy as they continued to take orders despite knowing that they were not able to keep up with the demand. I was promised a call back from the manager but this never happened Food was average. I wouldn’t use them again

The food was nice but the order was wrong, i ordered prawn Bhuna and got chicken Bhuna :( We didn't have delivery we picked it up ourselves therefore we couldn't be bothered to go back with the wrong order.

Ordered online, paid and entered delivery address. Waited ages and then had to call them for them to say they don't deliver to my area!!! Why was this not stated when I ordered!!!? So I went to collect it to get there and got given my order which was cold!! They didn't even phone me to say 'when are you going to collect?' No they didn't care cos they already had payment!! Bad service....will never use again!

I have been using heart of India for seventeen years I ordered from them recently I have been disappointed the last two times most recently there was no onion salad I ordered three rice only two arrived the curry tasted a bit sour and bitter the flavour wasn't good and I don't know what they put in it to keep me awake all night but I won't be using heart of India again.

Food ok but cartons crushed so a lot of the sauces had leaked out all over the bag and caused a real mess trying to serve it out. Phoned and complained, offered a replacement meal but I refused as it would be too late for me to eat (medical reason). Manager said he would phone back............still waiting for his call. New Indian restaurant opened in Broadstone so we'll try that next time .

Ordered numerous times from here now although they can never get order right, chef doesn’t understand when you want a chicken korai not tikka as tikka has turned up on the last 4 occasions! Ordered a collection tonight only to be told it’s gone out for delivery to someone else instead! Shame as food is good if only they could serve it right or better still be able to pick it up!!!

Ordered a Makan Wala, supposedly rich tomatoe and butter flavour. Tasted exactly the same as my wife’s chicken passanda. Phoned up to tell them that my order was wrong, they immediately sent out another dish that should have been Makan Wala ( tomatoe and butter flavour), I got exactly the same passanda dish as before. I bloody give up, either they think I wouldn’t notice they were the same again or it was another bodge up.it was so sickly sweet I couldn’t eat it and didn’t think there was much point phoning again to say it was the wrong dish. I just won’t bother using Heart of India again.

This was our second time of ordering a takeaway and just as good as the first. Really impressed with the flavour and quantity.

Lovely food but twice in a row our order was incorrect and we had to wait for the missing dishes to be delivered, although to be fair they arrived within 15 mins with apologies. Will see this as a blip and continue to order simply cos the food is excellent quality and friendly staff on the phone!

Absolutely lovely food, but had a bad experience where our card payment hadn't gone through properly. We had the food delivered, enjoyed it and were tucked up ready for bed when there was a knock at the door! The delivery driver was demanding cash for the meal with no proof the payment hadn't been made! We settled up the next day, but did not appreciate a man demanding cash at my door at night.

Always been good so will give them the benefit of doubt this time. But food turned up quick which was great, but it was cold

Tonight we ordered a chicken tikka starter and a chicken tikka korai together with a naan bread. I have to say this was the best korai we have tasted outside of the Midlands. We have tried several places since relocating here from Stafford 4 years ago. We were spoilt with the restaurants and takeaways there and surrounding areas like Wolverhampton and Birmingham. WE have tried several here but unfortunately been very dissapointed with the taste and quality. It was a very pleasant treat tonight to try this korai from Heart of India.I rang and congratulated them and asked where their chef was from-- 'the midlands".Well done.

Prices have recently gone up quite a bit for a takeaway, so I've found somewhere cheaper to use. Food always of good quality though.

I was recommended trying the Heart of India by a colleague and have never had a bad meal. There have been a couple of occasions where a single item has been missed from the order or this would have been a "5 rating" but these were resolved amicably either by going back and picking up the item (I do live reasonably close by) or by getting a credit towards the next meal. One of the best things apart from the obvious is that when ordering the food the time estimates have always been very good if they have a rush on. I always prefer to get a true estimate as it gives me the choice to rethink but would make me return if they are honest, I have used other take always that promised a time that they knew they could not meet and I have not been back.This review is based on have previously tried about a dozen takeaway and eat in restaurants and having 2 or more takeaways each month.

Placed an order on Sunday for collection, it was delivered within timescales but when the driver turned up I was asked to call up as I was charged the wrong amount. I didn't mind doing this although it was not my mistake or error. I started to dish up and found out that I was given the wrong side order, so had to call again and explained the wrong item was delivered, no apology all I received was well that's what was written down. I asked if they would give me the correct item, they begrudgingly agreed. I asked how long that would be as my food was already dished up on plates ready to eat and was told another 15 minutes. I asked if they could offer me something for both inconveniences to be shouted at in a rude manner. The service that was provided to me was totally unacceptable and not what I would expect from a normally good takeaway establishment. Sorry Heart of India you have lost a customer. Oh and I never did get the correct item ☹☹👎

Best indian takeaway food in broadstone by far.I spend in excess of £2k a year with this business.I like to eat late busy life.I have always been told last orders for takeaway delivery is 10.30pm.They have taken orders after this time and they have always done their best to accommodate me as a good customer.Tonight I phoned at 10.28 to order my takeaway.I was told takeaway orders finish at 10.30.I may be anal but if I walked into a pub at 10.58 and ordered a beer I would get served.In actual fact most pubs would serve 2 mins after time if you were a regular.Apparently they are not a pub which I managed to grasp but this business didnt get the loyalty Ive done nothing wrong card. I was told the chef will go mad.I really dont care if the chef wants to go home early I work in retail sometimes a customer comes in late sadly thats how it is.I asked why the goalpost had been moved.The reply was other takeaways in this area dont open this late.I said moonlight opens until 11.30 .I was told if thats the case go to them To be honest I dont rate moonlight at all.As one of their best customers I feel really undervalued food is fantastic but sadly in tough economic times you need to retain customers no matter how demanding they are.I am really sad my custom isnt wanted anymore.If you want an indian takeaway definitely the best. Arrogance will cost any business a lot of money.Tail wagging dog I THINK.I would like to think I can expect a call asking me to remove my post maybe called at a bad time.

We've had quite a lot of chicken curries over the past couple of years from here but the last 2 which were during the last month the chicken was not good at all. Shame as the curry sauce was good. Just need to get the quality back.

We ordered a take-away from the Heart of India, Broadstone again. The ordering and delivery was again very efficient, friendly and on time. The taste was just as before well cooked, spicy and full of flavour. Definitely on my speed-dial.

Had a takeaway from here a short while ago and have to say the service was excellent - from the phone call to order the food to the delivery which was very speedy and here before the time that they had said. The food was extremely taste and well worth the money.

Have recently been converted to the Heart Of India. Great range of dishes on the menu. Really tasty food, tried the Heart Of Naga recently which very spicy. Always ready on time as well. Very good, recommend 👍

This is the best Indian takeaway in the area. The curries are really tasty and full of flavour and when you order a hot spicy dish it really does have the heat you'd expect. Always pleased with the quality of the food.

Great food and great welcoming staff it never disappoints we are working through the menu always meet up there to see my family as I'm living so far away last visit there were 18 of us and the staff had no problems with making the meals and getting them out on time and hot will always go back a big thumbs up to the staff for a clean and pleasant place to eat

They are right. Visited for the first time yesterday and I must say its one of the best I have tasted in ages. Definitely will be visiting them again.

This takeaway in my opinion beats every Indian in the surrounding areas, ive tried all of the others including eating in the restaurants and I keep coming back to this one time after time. The staff are more than friendly and remember my order every time I ring up. I have never had an issue with this place, they get it spot on every time. The food is tasty and the portions are what you would expect.

This place has started to become my default place to get curries from. Prefer to go and place the order and wait. Lots of phone orders coming in so can be hard to actually place your order.

We got a takeaway on a Friday night and everything was really nice and tasty. We had to wait about an hour for our collection as they were really busy which although a pain is a good sign. We will definitely use them again and hopefully they will be good again - one of the best Indian takeaways in Broadstone.

Definitely the best Indian Take Away and Restaurant in Broadstone - we've tried all of the others. We use Moonlight for both take away and restaurant services and the food is consistently great for both. Restaurant meals are very nicely presented. We tend to collect takeaway orders as this proves a little quicker. The waiters are excellent, always very friendly and helpful.

This has to be the best Indian take away in the area. I just had a chicken dupiaza which was full of flavour and a good size portion of decent chicken breast. Not the cheap meat that some take aways seem to be using these days. I just wish the wife would eat more Indian food. Top marks.

My hubby and I ordered weekly from this takeaway but in the last few weeks we have been quite disappointed with the service and the quality of the food. Our orders have been quite late - more than the average 1 hour wait. A couple of weeks a go we had to call up to say we were still waiting two hours later , to which the response was that our curry was on its way . When it arrived it was cold- my husband said his prawn cocktail was the warmest of all the food. We were starving to we just put up with it but mentioned this th following week when we ordered again but didn't even get an apology . The last few orders have been disappointing so we have stopped using them. Don't know if staff or management have changed but customer service and food quality has gone down. I think they try to take on too many orders and can't keep up .

We have had take away's from here for quite a few years. The quality never really varies. Always very good and nearly always punctual and on time. Of of the main reasons my wife especially like it is because of it's consistency.

We have tried over the years all Indian restaurants that deliver in Broadstone and have always come back to The Heart of India which is the best. The last review in my opinion is totally incorrect. Ours is normally delivered quickly and is still hot. The staff we have spoken to have always been polite and when ordering by phone give you a price for the meal so that you can organise the correct money for them,

It used to be good but they kept missing things off order and delivering cold food. On the last occasion we waited nearly two hours and our curry turned up cold. We called to tell them and asked for money back, which they said they do not give refunds but We could come get another and give discount next time. I explained there would not be a next time as it had delivered bad service which we were now tired of. My husband then got on the phone and said we wanted our money back and he would be up to bring curry back and get refund. The manager then told my husband he was being threatening to which my husband said he wasn't he was just telling him he was on way up. The manager put the phone down on my husband and when he rang back, another worker answered and told my husband they didn't deliver cold curries - well yes they do we had one here , one the other week and so did my sister the previous week.my husband got a taxi up to the takeaway and on the way the police called him to say the takeaway had said he had been reported for threatening behaviour! My husband explained the situation and the policeman agreed we were in the right to ask for our money back. My husband went into the takeaway and asked for our money back, the manager was still trying to argue and refuse our refund and then tried to antagonise my husband by saying" you can have a refund only if you say please". There was no apology from the takeaway about the poor food or way they had responded to us. They also had cheek to say to my husband not to bother ordering again! Absolutely shocking. They should be done for wasting police time. If you want cold, hit and miss quality of food and bad customer service, this is the right Indian takeaway for you.

The Best Indian Takeaway by far in Broadstone. Food is delicious. Service friendly and efficient. They deliver too which is great.

just ordered a BANG TIDY bit of tucker..... chicken tikka madras was excellent!!!!!! garlic and onion fried rice was something else!! prompt delivery which is always important... order was complete with no mistakes, hot AND spicy!! well happy and stuffed now with a burning mouth!!! really satisfying food and the poppadoms was the best i have had in years... avoid mint like the plague!! taj in corfe mullen aint all that... moon light i have not tried in years since my last disaster order.... yeah my only complaint is i didnt order enough being a man of a huge appetite... but thats my fault! ummmmmmmmmm tip top 10 out of ten! ( you should make a man size portion for the hungrier!)
