Fantastic night at ladies night amazing staff night was fantastic what more could you want definitely recommend the pub for a great night lovely bar staff especially Emily great bar person to serve your drinks with a beautiful personality

Came in for a few drinks and met a new but lovely bar staff named Mia. Great friendly service- met the landlord too who was very welcoming and genuine. Lovely place - will be seeing them soon.

We have recently moved to the area with The New Inn becoming our local! The atmosphere is friendly and fun, the staff are extremely helpful and inviting. We went for our first family roast today which was outstanding! We even invited our family. A table of 6 adults & 1 child (£35.75 for 3 adults & 1 child) we all had a lovely roast which had every vegetable you could imagine and the meat was exceptional. We also got a free desert. The service was brilliant we barely waited for our food it was served quickly and efficiently. Honestly couldn’t recommend more! I will say the cauliflower cheese was my favourite :) not watery just cheesy & creamy! We will be back! Thank you for a great Sunday Funday :)

Great traditional pub, lots of atmosphere, friendly staff and good selection of beers. Some free off road parking available, Great place for a meet up, and I am told thr food is okay. Worth a visit.

I feel I must leave a five star review about this particular pub because, the staff here are amazing, Chris the landlord, Devina, Libby, Emma, Trish, Leanne and not to forget Debbi.also in the kitchen amazing cooks Steve and kieth. The pub itself is walm with a friendly atmosphere. It's clean with good décor, all in all a good family pub with an additional back bar for functions. As for the outside they have a beer garden and play area for children, dogs are also welcome to the pub I totally recommend the Sunday roasts that are available at a very reasonable price once again a big thank you to all the staff .if your passing come see for yourself you won't be disappointed 👌👌👌

We recently spent Christmas Eve, New Years Eve and last night pre dinner (sons 18th) at the New Inn. Just wanted to mention Trish, who always looks after us, great customer service and always have a laugh. Haven’t eaten YET, but we plan to soon. Definitely nice going back to what was our local and finding the staff lovely and it was spotless. More good times to come.

Had a really nice evening at the New Inn. It’s a traditional pub with a friendly relaxed atmosphere and decent pub food. The burger (and wine) I had certainly hit the spot. Friendly staff too who were nice to chat to.

Had a surprise 90th for Mum Saturday afternoon. Food was amazing, bar staff really spot on, Thankyou so much. Shame you stopped doing food during the week but looking forward to one of your Roast dinners on a Sunday sometime in the future.

Can't say much about the food as we went on a Sat evening and didn't require food. Trish was very accommodating, and while the front bar was busy, the sports bar wasn't so we had the pool table and darts all to ourselves.

Nice friendly place. Will visit again.

Crowded, but very friendly, good beers

Had my mum's surprise 70th birthday party here in their function room. They organised the food (great buffet) and the DJ and even helped with the decorating. They couldn't do enough to help. Projector was great for a picture sideshow, everyone loved it. Great drinks and prices. All staff went above and beyond. Would highly recommend

Just enjoyed Sunday Lunch at the New Inn. Lovely, friendly and welcoming staff and all of them took the trouble to check that everything was alright for us. The food was excellent. The portions were large and it was good to have so many well cooked vegetables to accompany the choice of roasts. The vegetarian option was really tasty too. Excellent value for money too. We will be back and we will be recommending the New Inn to family and friends.

Great space for a party held my mums.surprise 60th birthday here. Function room is private with own bar. Great friendly staff couldn't be any more accommodating. Buffet was lovely and plenty of food, they also organised the DJ and even helped us with decorating. Highly recommend.

Parties are always jam packed and wee ewxperience first hand! Emily was fantastic and always had us laughing every one of the team so friendly and polite, the atmosphere was cosy and lovely with a lot of the locals .: great for watching. Rugby they had a big screen in the function room by day and I then the best party in there by night! Will absolutely be returning! Chris really knows how to run the show with his busy venues and the bar manager Trish is a true gem always happy to help, Davina is such a wonderful character also! Keep going guys! See you soon

Loved it, great food, friendly staff, clean with a good 'vibe' Ever since then I've called in whenever I'm passing. When the sun is out the beer garden is fantastic and now I see they've opened a bar serving cocktails. My kind of place

Amazing pub. Super friendly staff. Owners are lovely and so welcoming. Dogs are welcome on leads. All drinks are reasonably priced. They have a new manager, Trish, who is just the best and knows everyone, which is such a lovely personal touch.

This venue is great for a casual drink or Sunday lunch the menu is small but plenty on the plate. The staff are friendly and polite the perfect place for a local pub.

Beautiful pub, the garden is a sun trap and beautifully kept. Davina served my partner and I throughout the afternoon. She is a lovely lady. Really enjoyed my time at the new inn.

We had a birthday party in the Sports Bar on a Saturday Night, had the best time with our friends and family, staff were very helpful and friendly, good price for hiring the sports bar. Definitely would recommend to hire the sports bar for functions. We will definitely be back for parties and just to go to the pub for a drink. Good atmosphere and friendly staff

Have not been in this venue for years, but unfortunately was here for a wake. So on this basis what we saw was a lovely clean pub. We were in the back room. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

Just had a lovely roast lunch at the new in with a dear friend two meals £10:25 staff ten out of ten friendly and clean and the food was supper delicious so thank you and we are coming back next Sunday

Great pub, first visit before Poole game.

First time I have visited in a while. It was a nice warm place and felt quite homely with the fairy lights around the place. Took our Grandchildren in who played the hoop game. There were other games to play like Jenga and some others too. Looking forward to going again in the near future

Held my daughter's 40th birthday party here. The staff are amazing so polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Had an amazing experience last Sunday booked a table for sunday roast got shown to our table by the very welcoming barmaid to the get an excellent deal with the bogof roasts which may i add were delicious cooked to perfection the deserts were also lovely ! Very disappointing visit this afternoon , went for Sunday roast which was supposed to be on a BOGOF . Waited over an hour for a cold dinner , tinned carrots ,overcooked potatoes , cauliflower cheese ( no cheese) vegetables were watery and no flavour . Then they overcharged us and even after explaining we had been over charged they still got it wrong and by this time we needed to go . I appreciate they were short staffed but it was a shambles . We meet up with some friends who had the same awful experience , even one meal not arriving at all . I had read good reviews about this place but unfortunatly we didn't have an enjoyable visit

Really great Sunday lunch. Fantastic value for money. All hot and really well seasoned. Red cabbage and cauliflower cheese was a lovely surprise. Slightly bigger plates would help as food was piled on the plate and cutting meat was tricky as it was top of the pile. Lovely, friendly staff. Will definitely be going again. Tip. If you’re thinking of going for food, you’ll need cash. Thank you for a lovely afternoon :)

I’ve passed this pub thousands of times and never been in until today. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. It’s a lot bigger inside than it looks! A pool table, tv for sport and great staff. The menu is… limited. Pizza, crisps ect…. But clean and friendly. Give it a go

First time there it was amazing lovely pub friendly staff very homely but the music on the juke box was far to loud but we will go back

Fantastic New Management Team. Chris (owner) and Garry (Manager) really do know how to turn a place around! Before, the atmosphere was drab, dreary and no energy.. They now have parties and music nights every weekend - something for everyone here. Pizzas and Roast Dinners cooked by the manager are fantastic, delicious and well presented. Well Done Team and I cannot wait to come back soon!

Popped in for Sunday lunch on the off-chance they were still serving (it was just after 3pm) and glad we did. The beef was so tender and veggies were perfect, my partners chicken breast was huge but juicy and nicely cooked. Stayed for a couple...

I had my baby shower today in the sports bar (16/07/22) the manager let me in early to set up and was completely helpful I had forgotten some things and he had no issues getting me what I needed from the kitchen (cutlery). The staff were friendly and caring and after we tidied up he put the bin bags in the pubs bin for us. I will be rebooking for my daughters christening party. Thank you so much for looking after us and making sure everything was okay.

Well what a fabulous lunch I had today perfectly presented just the right amount the gravy was well never had as good and I'm 70 so well done chef who ever you are see you next week thank you all at the new inn.

Called in last Sunday, seeing the board outside advertising Sunday lunches available. Great atmosphere, very comfortable, friendly staff. We waited no more that 10 minutes when our lunches arrived and amazed at the generous portions. Everything was cooked to perfection a really great pub lunch...

We visited today for Sunday lunch. Really good home cooked roast and reasonably priced. We have started using The New Inn as live nearby and can bring our dog as they're dog friendly, even bring water and treats over for our boy. Highly Recommended.
