The New Inn in Poole

Came in for the karaoke with 10/15 friends, had a fantastic night, Emily & Abbie (hope I got the names right) were happy, courteous, fast service & just a wonderful experience. We will be back again. DJ Matt was very good also shame it's not weekly. The only thing I would like to see is some soft drinks in cans i.e diet Pepsi or Pespi as we also have some younger ones with us & drivers too and the pints of soft drinks is not too cheap. But everything else was awesome. (I know as I spend over £100) lol.

The New Inn just hosted our daughter and future son in laws engagement party, staff couldn’t have been more helpful, function room was perfect size, had everything we needed. Really recommend for any function. Thank you

I have just had my pioneer western themed party in the function room and we were very well looked after and had an amazing time. Food was great they will do just about anything.

Came here today for a baby shower, first time i've visited The New Inn. Beautiful pub, inside and out. The function room was a perfect size. The atmosphere was fantastic. The barmaid Emily was lovely, hard working and smiley. She looked after us all so well and made us all feel very welcome. We will be back soon. The food in the main bar smelt amazing when we popped through. All in all, a perfect visit.

Went here for a baby shower. Not only is the function room beautiful, the whole pub had a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere. Have to mention Emily especially. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness! Would definitely recommend and will be back!

Stood outside here the other day waiting for the rain to stop but it just got heavier forcing me indoors but they have carlsberg so i had a few then the rain stopped and i headed home.very nice place and worth another visit perhaps next time if im peckish ill check out the menu 👌

Good atmosphere. Nice drinks. Wine cooler bags used to keep the ideal temperature. Friendly staff. The food looked good but we didn't have any on this occasion.

Lovely pub . Great atmosphere, they do good drinks deals. Staff are friendly too . We come for the pub quiz ,always fun 😀 . The decor is nice , Pool table .beer garden and car park .

Had the best evening at the new inn, amazing environment, atmosphere, the bar staff always go above and beyond, especially Emily, so smiley, the landlord Chris runs a tight ship, and Trish the manager knows how to run the show, we had such an amazing private event in the function room, so affordable and cater for everyone, the family pub dog Tibbs is so cuddly, will absolutely be returning, must go!!!! We have just had our wedding reception/party here, the help we got right from the time of booking to the day after our event was excellent. Lovely events room, first class buffet, the whole team who we came into contact with were exceptional. We also hired the in-house disco which was excellent. Our thanks go out to you all for the efforts you put in to make sure our special day was one to be remembered forever. Anyone thinking of staging an event here, we would highly recommend it! I love coming to the New Inn. Amazing atmosphere. The staff are always so bubbly and quick service even when they are on their own. I always have a laugh with the staff. They are just amazing

Stopped in for a glass of wine after work, there is a car park which was really handy and a sheltered outdoor area which was clean and tidy. Inside the decor is lovely, it was nice and wam. Staff friendly and helpful, good selection of wine available albeit only had one because I had the car. I will definitely be back with friends in the near future. Thank you all for such a pleasent visit.

Walked in as I'm based down the road and heard they had a quiz night on when i was at the bar, figured why not, give it a crack. Came third (not that it mattered) a good laugh was had by all and the quiz master made sure all the teams got something to walk away with. I'll definitely revisit in 2 weeks time If I'm not working. Horrible place no air windows were not allowed to be opened, landlord and staff were very aggressive, don't ever go here or book for a function. Landlord especially was so rude such a horrible man.

Great food and atmosphere, fantastic evening events during the week including quiz and major sporting events plus many more. Dogs welcome which is a massive plus as they are spoilt. staff always very friendly and helpful. Great value on drinks across the board. Highly recommend

A great pub with a smashing atmosphere. Dog friendly and Charlie says they serve a smashing biscuit. Staff can’t do enough to make you welcome. Plenty of TV’s for live sport and prices are reasonable. A great Quiz night on Tuesday. Come and join us 😀.

Have been coming here for many years for the Tuesday night quiz nights and watching the football and it’s a great little pub with lovely decor. We are always greeted nicely by the staff! Really enjoy coming here and overall a great venue with a big party space

This is an incredibly friendly pub, very dog friendly, plenty of good parking, a recently improved outdoor space, a separate function room, great quiz on a Tuesday night with a cash prize and spot prizes, lovely staff, great selection of beers at really good prices, plenty of sporting events showing on the screens.

Just been for Sunday dinner absolutely delicious 7 vegetables cooked to perfection aswell as very tender lamb will definitely go back can’t rave on about it enough well done chief many thanks

Only had a drink. No obvious food offering. It was okay for a Sunday. Quiet in the main bar but a function going on in side room.

Beautiful Sunday roast here today 🤗 big dinner (to much for me) with a free pudding. lovely friendly service, very clean, Dog friendly, Pool table in a lovely area of the pub, back ground music was pleasant, we had a fabulous afternoon. Already looking forward to our next visit very soon.

Chris with the lovely Hawaiian shirt, very friendly and excellent at managing Kitty, most impressed how lovely it looks, with all the quirkiness and the lights and generally so friendly and nice seating areas.

Booked their function room for a family party. Chris the landlord and Trish the bar manager arranged everything from the DJ and the buffet. Chris helped with the decorations. The buffet was excellent and had everything we asked for. Excellent quality and price. The dj played our song list. Staff went above and beyond. Have booked with them again.

This is a great bar to for drinks with friends and family, all the staff are lovely and friendly always have a smile on their faces. Pub is always clean and tidy no sticky tables. They have a lovely function room great for party’s.

What can I say about the New Inn. Excellent service from staff, especially Chris the landlord, made myself and my friends very welcome. All staff very bubbly, great function room. Had a great night, added bonus was the karaoke. Will definitely be returning this weekend .

Maybe not exploit your employees! my niece worked for you dictated everything she had to do with her social life no idea how to run a business Chris is lazy and only knows how to look busy and actually probably does an day of honest hard work per week then Sean’s off on holiday every 6 weeks knows nothing except how to bark orders at his staff or ‘slaves’

I come from up north and visit Poole at least twice a year visiting family, and I always look forward to coming to The New Inn. Iv never eaten here but I can imagine the food would be lovely. The staff and atmosphere is brilliant, always guaranteed a fab night .. see you next year 🥰

We went to the new inn because we were invited to a wedding evening party, I must say looks like the place has been redecorate but the drinks I find are very expensive I ordered 1 pint of orange juice and lemonade and also a half pint and it came to £11they charged me for the orange juice and 4 shots of lemonade ( rip off ) it's no wonder people don't go out to the pubs no more and drink at home and buy from the supermarket I also got the bride and groom a drink of a pint of thatchers and a small bottle of rosie wine and that was £10.35, its a good job I don't drink And as the buffet well it was average tbh. All I can say is plenty of other pubs in the area that don't try to rip you off And don't think I would return.

Sunday roast fantastic can't beat the price

We hired the function room at the rear of the pub, for my daughters 21st birthday and it was a fantastic evening, the room is so well decorated already with fairy lights and artificial flowers, so adding your own decorations to it aswel just makes it perfect ballance. The bar staff are so friendly and helpful one lady in particular (emily) served us all night and she always had a smile and helped us store the cake and provided things if she could. Thanks you staff at new inn xx

This place is really lovely we had a party yesterday and we had a great time Everyone is very impressed with the setting ,from the service, from the garden and the barbecue .Everything inside is done with taste it was very clean and welcoming we will definitely come back again for more parties and food .The staff was lovely very understanding and helpful the manager get hour booked in last minute she was very nice and polite.Defenetly we gonna be back.The kids enjoyed the please to very much .

We used the function room for a retirement party. fantastic size function room on split level. Pool table and darts board available to use.Very clean . All staff went above and beyond, very helpful, great atmosphere and a lovely outside area. We plan use again and to try there highly recommended roast dinner in the future.

We have recently moved to the area with The New Inn becoming our local! The atmosphere is friendly and fun, the staff are extremely helpful and inviting. We went for our first family roast today which was outstanding! We even invited our family. A table of 6 adults & 1 child (£35.75 for 3 adults & 1 child) we all had a lovely roast which had every vegetable you could imagine and the meat was exceptional. We also got a free desert. The service was brilliant we barely waited for our food it was served quickly and efficiently. Honestly couldn’t recommend more! I will say the cauliflower cheese was my favourite :) not watery just cheesy & creamy! We will be back! Thank you for a great Sunday Funday :)

We recently spent Christmas Eve, New Years Eve and last night pre dinner (sons 18th) at the New Inn. Just wanted to mention Trish, who always looks after us, great customer service and always have a laugh. Haven’t eaten YET, but we plan to soon. Definitely nice going back to what was our local and finding the staff lovely and it was spotless. More good times to come.

Had a surprise 90th for Mum Saturday afternoon. Food was amazing, bar staff really spot on, Thankyou so much. Shame you stopped doing food during the week but looking forward to one of your Roast dinners on a Sunday sometime in the future.

Can't say much about the food as we went on a Sat evening and didn't require food. Trish was very accommodating, and while the front bar was busy, the sports bar wasn't so we had the pool table and darts all to ourselves.

Crowded, but very friendly, good beers

Had my mum's surprise 70th birthday party here in their function room. They organised the food (great buffet) and the DJ and even helped with the decorating. They couldn't do enough to help. Projector was great for a picture sideshow, everyone loved it. Great drinks and prices. All staff went above and beyond. Would highly recommend

Just enjoyed Sunday Lunch at the New Inn. Lovely, friendly and welcoming staff and all of them took the trouble to check that everything was alright for us. The food was excellent. The portions were large and it was good to have so many well cooked vegetables to accompany the choice of roasts. The vegetarian option was really tasty too. Excellent value for money too. We will be back and we will be recommending the New Inn to family and friends.

Parties are always jam packed and wee ewxperience first hand! Emily was fantastic and always had us laughing every one of the team so friendly and polite, the atmosphere was cosy and lovely with a lot of the locals .: great for watching. Rugby they had a big screen in the function room by day and I then the best party in there by night! Will absolutely be returning! Chris really knows how to run the show with his busy venues and the bar manager Trish is a true gem always happy to help, Davina is such a wonderful character also! Keep going guys! See you soon

I'm becoming too familiar with this great pub. Started off when I noticed Sunday lunch advertisement. Loved it, great food, friendly staff, clean with a good 'vibe' Ever since then I've called in whenever I'm passing. When the sun is out the beer garden is fantastic and now I see they've opened a bar serving cocktails. My kind of place
