Im Sad to say we won't be frequenting this establishment anytime soon. After being greeted by a very rude landlord who told us he was opening at 12 and when we asked of he was serving good he then proceeded to shout across the car park that he infact wasn't serving food. We were met with a rude response that he was closed and also we weren't welcome to eat with a large box of hot dog buns in his hand. I was not impressed and nor will I be returning for another other reason. Sad to see a once great pub go down the toilet.

Just fab! Ordered the cheesy chunky chips at the cafe and were super impressed!! The chips were delish an totally worth it. Absolutely great for the price and the fact they were gluten free and ceoliac friendly was a stand out for us. Staff were so helpful with sauces and gluten free options. We look forward to visiting again!

Ordered a bacon and egg bap. Eaten better ones at truck stops!! Over cooked bacon, overcooked egg and served some time after my wife's food was served which was also poor. (see photo) Expected better for the cost

These premises are now bring used by a new vegan business called the Veg Patch. Launched this week and we came in on Monday morning for tea and snacks. Seemed well supported by some lively customers many of whom seemed to be friends of the owners. Very pleasant. Staff slightly formal but bound to loosen up very quickly. A very welcome new choice on Mutley Plain.

two lovely staff who made excellent Chinese and fish and chips for my family tonight. The fish was juicy with a crispy coat (even when we drove 20 mins home), the chips weren't soggy and soft on the inside. plus we also love Chinese food so was convenient to order at, everything we order from black-bean to sweet and sour chicken balls were so flavoursome. so yummy definitely will order again !

Food was simply delicious. We tried the Kung Po Special, Mapo Tofu and spicy peppery chicken wings. Mapo Tofu was silky smooth and full of flavor! Service was excellent and the stafff were polite, attentive and made some recommendations. I would highly recommend Lee Gardens which offered a high quality cuisine and impeccable service!

My wife and I visited Plymouth in August 2021 and spent 4 days here. Celtic were playing twice (Midtjylland and Hearts away). From the experience we had in the pub I must say The Eagle is the only place to go to watch Celtic in Plymouth. Quality pint and the staff keep the Heineken pint glasses in the freezer (That doesnt happen in my local). The locals made us feel very welcome and Chalky White (Total gentleman) bought us a round and welcomed us to his town. The Celtic fans were all brand new and it was a pleasure to have watched the games with them. The bar staff were also very friendly and welcoming and were happy to have a bit a chat and banter. An extra bonus is the half time food which is free. For the Midtjylland game the staff provided free hotdogs and for the hearts game it was free pieces and bacon. Hopefully I will be able to come back to Plymouth in the future and I wouldnt go anywhere else to watch Celtic.

My friend ordered and collected 6 scones for a girlie weekend away on 27th September for a special occasion. We bough the jam and cream and were looking forward to a cream tea. When I cut my scone in half it was raw in the middle and so were all the others, disappointed but these things happen so not to worry. Went down to lu lu's on the Monday with a photo of the scone only to be told ' well we haven't had any complaints from other customers who had scones on that day' very dismissive but would ask the shop owner to call me' That was 2 weeks ago, can never get them to answer the phone. Will never shop here again .
