Consistently excellent food. Highly recommended take away, best Indian we’ve found in north Plymouth including the Crownhill area. Order from them regularly , never disappointed. Recommend trying them, great family run Indian take away,

Just had our first takeaway from Dola's Indian Kitchen and the food was excellent. Well cooked and nicely spiced, I couldn't fault the starters, mains or sides, even the salad was nice and fresh. Top marks 😁

This was our first try of dolas,we had a delivery. Unfortunately the mint yougurt sauce was gone off and tasted vile and the salad was brown and soggy! The rest was ok but average,we won't be ordering again.

A very high quality take away. Food is delicious, never too oily, each dish we have tried is different. Many restaurants/take away quite often use the same base sauce and the only difference is the name! Not Dolas, really good food. Not a duff dish yet! Would highly recommend (last point to note, much better value than other highly rated local Indian restaurants that deliver in the Plymouth area)

Don’t even bother! It takes ages. I don’t even think he started the food until I turned up to pay and on top of that, the man who I presume to be the owner started telling me about how much debt he was in. Weirdest experience ever. The prawns taste like they are from early 2023. The inside looks nice though.

The food is really good and tasty and the premises is clean and friendly always tastes fantastic. Also really good comprehensive detail of what each dish includes for allergies

A great meal, plenty of choice, everything we chose was well cooked and delicious. We were spoilt for choice. Friendly staff, and very clean premises.

Ordered the chicken pasanda and it was gorgeous. Was given extra popadums on top of what was already a very generous portion. Great service and authentic taste. Will definitely be a regular.

I've ordered the chicken phall from Dola's twice recently, and both times it was delicious - spicy and pleasantly hot. Cracking sides too, particularly the lamb samosas, chilli naan and onion bhajis. The staff were really friendly and helpful when they delivered both meals too. Totally recommend.

Very friendly staff and excellent menu. I have had very good experience previously and have yet to be let down. Delivery times are usually consistent but they can't tell the future of the roads so seeing a 1 star rating for delivery time is ridiculous. Great place.

Absolutely incredible food! Fabulous selection of different dishes to choose from. Arrived quickly and was steaming hot! Flavours were amazing, with a wonderful selection of vegetables in the vegetarian dish and melt in the mouth, tender lamb in the meat dish. Spicing was perfect for what we ordered and pricing was extremely fair. One of the best Indian takeaways we have ever had! Highly recommended. Its our new favourite for a curry! No soggy poppadoms here! And best of all, direct delivery, no deliveroo etc! Thank you!

Never again will I order from here ordered food told it would be with me 730 -800pm not delivered unit 940 pm and part of my order was missing and food was only just warm .

Fabulous food, if you are unsure what to order, just ask- the food is fresh, delicious and so tasty. You will receive a warm welcome, excellent quality and we have ordered several times, never disappointed- enjoy

I ordered a meal for 2 in store the customer service was amazingly friendly and couldn’t complain about that. Although when I got home to take the food they had messed the order up, not giving the correct Nan bread. The starters tasted ok but the poperdoms were on the greasy side and the oil tasted old. When I finally got to the curry the lam buns and Tikka masala both tasted like they were made with dish water. They had no flavour and the base of the curry was too thin for my liking. The chicken was very tender and I couldn’t complain at that along with the onion bajias although if you want a decent curry try Indus in Plymouth they are by far the best I’ve tried.

We were so looking forward to our Indian takeaway as my friend had highly recommended it. I also looked at the trip advisor reviews and this place was rated so highly. My husband and I had given up on Indian takeaways as over the years we have had some bad experiences. We thought hey we will give it a go again as we love Indian food. It was such a disappointment. My husband had the chicken Korma. The sauce was almost white in colour and totally tasteless.The chicken very dry. I had lamb passanda. The lamb was so dry I couldn't chew it. The potatoes in the Bombay aloo were hard. The poppadums had a strange taste to them. We are convinced that this takeaway had been warmed up and not fresh. The only saving grace was it was hot. What a waste of money. We threw away more than we ate.

Tried this based on a friends recommendation and really glad we did. The takeaway food was excellent and was delivered promptly. I am happy to pass on a recommendation to try this, if you haven't already.

Best take away food ever! We had chicken madras, pilau rice, Bombay potatoes and a garlic naan bread. Hot, fresh and delicious.

This is without a doubt the best Indian I have ever had! The food is just divine! The staff are friendly and very helpful with any allergens. Would highly recommend, 10/10!
