I’m new ish to the area and love a Chinese, bought from here a few times but after today not pleased at all. I bought a tub of bbq sauce and after eating some of my rice with the sauce, I could notice a unusual smell, the tub smelt like alcohol(the sauce was gone off). To top it off the pork balls batter was criminally hard, now later I’m paying the price on the looe with food poisoning.

PLEASE AVOID POSSIBLE FOOD POISONING !!! As others have said lacked flavour and chips were reheated, food was cold due to over 90 mins delivery, food went straight through us, next day put the spare curry on a potato and same again, don't use if you can help it overpriced reheated frozen garbage and on top took over 90 mins for delivery, terrible service used to be one of the best in plymouth now garbage as hell

Quality has got worse over the last 3 years, they are using thin noodles in the chow mein, food was bland, chips soggy probably reheated..... won't use them again!

Used to really like crispy duck and rated it highly but the last two times the food has been a very poor standard, the fried rice on my house special rice was gooey and slimey and was very unpleasant to eat. The meat in the other dishes tasted off and my other half has been vomiting all night from within an hour of eating

(Detailed review below) Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ambience ⭐⭐ Accessibility ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cost ⭐⭐⭐ Tips ⭐⭐⭐ Summary ⭐⭐⭐ Food 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good food. The quality is excellent and repeatable. The food is tasty, hot and prepared to order (as you would expect). Chinese food isn't my favourite (but it is my wife's!), but I have really enjoyed all of my dishes from Crispy Duck. Ambience 2/5 ⭐⭐ The waiting and counter areas are clean and tidy, but the décor seems dated and the pictures of food are old and the posters are all hand-written. Accessibility 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The entrance is level with the street, so should be easily accessible by wheelchairs and buggies. Crispy Duck is located part of the way up quite a steep hill (Albert Road), which may be an issue for some. The is street parking right outside on Albert Road and Ross Street, but finding a space can be tricky during busy periods. Cost 3/5 ⭐⭐⭐ Crispy Duck is about average for a Chinese Takeaway in the area, but it our favourite for the food, so the value for money is good. The only downside is the lack of payment options. Tips 3/5 ⭐⭐⭐ As they are cash only now, there is a ATM located about 100m up the hill at the Co-op Food store. Closed on Tuesday Summary 3/5 ⭐⭐⭐ Sadly, this otherwise lovely Chinese takeaway has declined recently as they only accept cash payments, which puts a number of customers off. They do not use Just-Eat or other online ordering services. Friendly service. Closed on Tuesdays.

I used to love crispy duck. Haven't oreder in a while and have just had an awful order. Got the meats mixed up in Thai/red curry. Found chicken in my prawn curry (I don't eat meat) the currys were supposed to be 'mild' but were too hot to eat. Noodles sooo greasy. Awful and disappointing. They did send out 2 more correct curries for the mistake though.

Complete turnabout in these premises. Lot of surprise that it is now opening as Dino Barbers. Looks quite flamboyant but there are already a dozen similar barbershops along Mutley Plain.
