If I could give zero stars I would. Food it’s disgusting, prawn crackers stale. Absolutely rubbish. Wouldn’t give this to my dog. Wouldn’t give a refund. Terrible avoid.

Food was very sub standard, orderd S&S pork with mushroom rice, 1 x chicken & sweetcorn chicken soup, very salty ! S&s pork was nothing more than pork flavoured batter strips in sweet sauce ( Hong Kong style) no sign of pork at all won't be going again !

Meh. Very average. Ordered chicken satay and it looked and tasted nothing like satay. Cantonese roast duck was very soggy and not very authentic. Shame, the Barbican could use a good Chinese.

I dont usually leave reviews but they waited outside my house with my order for 15 minutes while I was late home, which was just so kind, with no complaints. Food was yummy and girl on reception is so lovely

My favorite dishes are: garlic brocolli, curry beef, and fried prawn rice noodles. Some dishes have too much sauce. But overall it's a good place for Chinese food when you're away from home.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!! If I could rate lower I would. Both explained we were vegetarian and wanted the dishes with no meat. So she gave us prawns. Prawns are ok she tells us, she said she asked us and we both said prawns are good even though we’ve been vegetarian for 15 years. Had to go the way back to get it swapped over, and then tells us we can have the prawn one for free! On top of that that food was DISGUSTING. Shambles of a place, the bad reviews are very on point, I always read them and think people are overreacting, THEYRE NOT, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. How is this place still open?

Both vegetarians, stated no meat and just vegetables. Got back and had prawns. When we called back refused to deliver it to us 10 mins away and had to then go all the way back and blamed us saying that it was our fault. AVOID

Without doubt the worst Chinese food i have ever had. I would question the delivery girls immigration status for sure. The beef curry i had was swimming in fat and was gloopy and tasteless

Ordered tonight for the first time from here. I'm afraid the reviews are true. Food was very vinegary and sharp tasting. Chicken balls very small and mainly batter. Pork black bean sauce inedible. Very disappointed. Won't be ordering again I'm afraid.

Walked in for a takeaway order. The meal was fine. I was happy with it.

Just need to add more sauce to the crispy chilli beef, overall very good restaurant, I've only had deliverys but they are always warm for a decent amount of time.

Go here a couple of times a month, and its usually OK. Today it was terrible! Won't be going back

Worse Chinese I’ve ever had , stone cold , tasteless , BBQ sauce didn’t have the lovely red colour 👎🏻 and ordered pineapple fritters but got banana ! Would never use again 😡

AVOID! The worst oriental food ever! We had 2 mains and 2 soups. Only one dish was possible to eat. I dont like to trow food but the soup went to toilet. No possible to eat, was like pure vinegair. The chicken was served without rice. Disgusting food. Never again!

By far one of the cleanest Chinese foods I have eaten. Ordered a variety of food and nothing disappointed. Amazing and will order again. Can't recommend enough

Delicious food for a reasonable price and close to home! I moved to Plymouth a few days ago and was recommended this take away! It has to be the best chinese I've ever had. The staff are super friendly and incredible value for money for what you get. So much better than what I had before.

Disgusting, arrived cold looked Disgusting way to over priced for half portion sizes. Called the restaurant then was refused refund, didnt even offer to send out new food. All the crispy chilli portions were soggy and so spicey they were inedible(we like spicey and was gross, not enjoyable at all). It all went in the bin. Will never use again. Even my kids wouldn't touch the chips as they were rank!! Waste of £34!!

Would not recommend. Way overpriced compared to a lot of nicer restaurants, we paid £30 for a very small amount of food, and it was rancid if I'm quite honest. The crispy chilli beef was drowning in very vinegar-tasting sauce, and there was nothing 'crispy' about it. Same goes for the sweet & sour balls! Tiny portions and it's almost as if the food is reheated from the day before. Very disappointing, we were looking forward to a nice Chinese after a long day. Won't be ordering from here again. I would recommend Top China in Lipson, their food is always delicious and good value for money unlike this place.

Absolutely vile food. Food arrived luke-warm and the portions were tiny. Crispy chilli beef was soggy, sweet & sour chicken balls were 90% dough, plus to top it off the food is heavily overpriced. Couldn't finish the food and had to bin it. Feel like I'm going to throw up.

I've ordered beef curry twice in the last month and both times they've given me beef with noodles. The first time I just threw it away, this time I returned it only to have their rude, and argumentative, staff claim it's what I ordered whist also refusing to rectify their mistake. I've never ordered noodles in my life. Mediocre food, incorrect orders and argumentative / rude staff. Not a great business model. The China Chef (Plympton) will get my business from now on. Worth the extra drive.

As a previous customer many times I wish to thank you for providing an awful meal and charging me 30 pounds for the prvilege of not being able to eat it thank you, will never eat from here again

This is sweet & sour chicken with chips taste like warmed up from yesterday. Sweet and sour crispy it isn't, like rubber no taste, chicken no idea? Dish had a tiny bit of sauce coating and I counted 1 chunk of green pepper with some onion. It was like they ran out and scraped together something. Absolutely terrible don't buy this from them if you have other options. My partner had Chicken chow mein with FRice she said hers was nice. I have upped the stars to 3 cause her meal was ok. On mine alone zero stars.

Wouldn’t recommend. Rice noodles are too salty while the chicken mushroom is delicious except it’s greasy. The driver who delivered me the food even didn’t have 80p to give change to my 20 pound note so that I had to go back for a long way (I live in a student accommodation) to retrieve my change to them, which seemed really unprofessional. I’ve tried so many Chinese restaurants and the rice noodles here is the worst comparing to others (I have to say that since this is the only time I think what I cook is better than the chef cooked). Then Considering the delivery, there are more decent choices to spend your money on.

Really enjoyed the food from Lee Gardens. We were visiting Plymouth and got a delivery to our hotel. Good food. Good price. And larger portions than my local. Would recommend.

Avoid at all costs. I had the chicken curry, egg fried rice and salt and pepper chips. The curry was stone cold and felt like it was in the middle of being defrosted. I rung the company and they said it was cooked before handing to the driver. The onions were literally raw and hard and the salt and pepper chips were far few and between. The portion size was way to small.

Extremely disapointed when the driver messed up my order by delivering it somewhere else then when dredelivering he forgot some stuff and we had to wait 3 hours in total, was promised a free drink witch I never received then when making my order I was called a liar and told they had delivered the free drink and they lady on the phone continued to talk about me whilst forgetting I was still on the phone ...... And all she said was oh I thought you got off the phone already. Absolutely the worse service I have ever received , not going to get into the fact she hung up on me

Ordered from just eat. It was over 30 mins late, the food was cold and they missed stuff from the order. I was told they would give me extra next time. Really? Speaking to them on the phone was pointless. Don't recommend

I ordered honey mustard chicken and I could not eat it! It was like eating mustard out of a jar! I also asked for curry sauce and they gave me sweet and sour. I have just rung them and the woman who answered couldn't speak English, claims she couldn't find my order and couldn't help me. I gave her the post code and she went quiet then hung up. I rang back and they ignored my call and it went straight to voicemail! First time customer from this place and very dissatisfied with their food and very poor customer service! I would not recommend anyone to go here!

The only good thing about Lee gardens is the customer service. The food is very bland and tasteless, including the prawn crackers. The chicken chow mein we ordered was way too wet and contained too many vegetables that weren’t specified on the menu.

Expect to get sweared at in Chinese! Bad customer service, bad delivery drivers and if there is anything wrong with the order then expect to get told that it is your fault, AVOID if you actually want a decent take away!!!

Terrible. Chicken balls were near enough raw. Chips over cooked. Rice not cooked properly, and poor communication with the staff.

I ordered food over 2 1/2 hours ago and it still hasn't arrived. Tried calling over 20 times and they simply won't answer the phone! Terrible service. Very dissapointed.

I will never order from here again. Ordered 2 and a half hours ago and I'm still waiting! Received a text 1 hour after ordering saying the food was on its way. I called them an hour after that to say my food had not been delivered. They said they were sending the food out again right away and half an hour later I'm still waiting. Appalling service, I think I'll call and cancel the order to get a refund!

Appalling service. Two hour wait and had to call twice to find out where it was and got hung up on. Food was clearly cooked a while before and kept hot while it sat waiting for other orders to be ready. Will NOT BE ORDERING AGAIN

The mixed meat chow mein was horrible and to much juice and the large pancake roll had batter on it it was to hard to each. The garlic chicken has to much veg and to much juice didn't taste like garlic

I've tried some of the other places, looking for the perfect Chinese food and I'm happy to say that I've found that place. Lee's Garden is amazing. The food has always been consistent in quality, flavour and amount.

Food was cold upon arrival delivery took too long

First time I have ordered as my usual Chinese was closed I would never order again from here my food is in the bin as it was very very salty I spent alot of money and none of my family liked the food one bit the delivery time was very good just such a shame that the food was very salty

Will never order from here again placed order at 6.30 then they added a further 20 mins to the time .did not receive food until late nearly 8.45pm and was freezing cold .

First time probably ordering from them and I asked for not veg in my rice and there was, the spicy peppery meats were tasty, but if there was not veg in my rice it would have been far better. So I am disappointed in that service. Will not order from them again.

my local chinese takeway. generally are pretty good, but always check your order before leaving. They have forgotten to put in an item a few times. which is fine if u live 5 mins away like myself; but if your driving it would be annoying. also didnt get my free prawn crackers they advertise on their paper menu even though we did spend over £12.

The food was ok but the delivery was shocking. It was supposed to be 40-50 minutes but it actually took 90 minutes.

Order was delayed by 15 minutes to start with, and then was not delivered until a further 30 minutes after that, so the wait was an hour and a half. Normally the service is good and delivered on time.

Really tasty food with ideal portion size. Would recommend.

Food was cold, waited over an hour for my food. Delivery man was given wrong details making it difficult for them to to deliver my food.

Usually the only Chinese I'll order from but as off today I feel let down by the service it arrived nearly 45 minutes late and the driver refused to bring it to my door making me have to go collect it from the street such a disappointment so I won't be ordering again

Ordered late at night. Was told by the app over an hour for delivery. Arrive within 20 min. Hot and fresh. Crispy chilli beef not very crispy but very very tasty. would use again.

Very good. I have used quite a few times recently. It is now my regular order. Highly recommended. Although the delivery charge looks high, the actual quantity of food, and lower menu prices makes it good value.
