A great hotel with a fantastic outlook on to the harbour. Really comfortable room and a lovely refurbished bathroom with a large shower with rain water head. The only reason for 4 stars is because they had no beans at breakfast for 2 days running. I'd give 4.5 stars if i could but that's not possible.

Worst chip's ever. Dry, hard and tasteless with too many end's. When will a chippy ever learn ??? When you chip so many smaller potatoes, you end up with small , disproportionate amounts of 'ends' in with the decent sized chip, you get a tray full of hard, overcooked potatoe bits. Even the seagulls left them!

Nice rooms and good pub food. It was very quiet when we visited for a one-night stop-over in early December. The Rockford Inn is in a charming narrow valley. Hosts Stella and Paul were very welcoming and helpful. Car parking is limited. The space opposite the inn is only really suitable for cars less than about 4.5m in length if parked perpendicular to the road. There is a little space for longer vehicles at the side of the inn

The wind was blowing so hard that I couldn't breathe, so I went into the teahouse for a moment! I ordered a bacon sausage sandwich and it was delicious... 3 hours later, 3 of the 4 people got food poisoning and were vomiting and having diarrhea and making a fuss. The next day, I canceled the entire trip and came home. This was the second food poisoning in my life since I got food poisoning after eating raw raw fish in the middle of summer. Even though it was winter and I was eating cooked food, I was really throwing up. It's as big as the body ㅠㅠ Be careful with your food... … …

What a great find, we initially called in for a drink the day before, lovely people very friendly and welcoming so we booked to come back the following night for a meal. We were not disappointed. Great menu, lots of lovely choices, great service, great food. I had the Fish Pie which was delicious and just the right size, served with various veg, I was too full up to have dessert sadly as they looked yummy! My husband had the duck rolls to start which he said were fabulous and he followed that with a cheese board, excellent cheese board. So I would highly recommend here, we will definitely be back. Thank you for such a lovely welcome.

Very quaint little cafe at the Valley of Rocks, with absolutely gorgeous scenery. They sell an incredible selection of homemade pies, we shared a piece of the blackcurrant and a piece a piece of the cherry, and they were both delicious. Sadly the day we went had gale force winds and we had to hide in our car to eat our pie, but well worth it nonetheless.
