Surprised to see the cafe wasn’t open until 5pm so we went for a walk and came back when the owner was there after five. I asked if they were open and she said no because they were late getting there and the electrician was inside. I understand these things happen but she was a bit giggly about it and didn’t really apologise, hardly looked at us. Just won’t bother again.

Didn't eat so won't rate the food. The owner is a true delight, very happy and cheery. She loved the fact our cockapoo enjoyed the biscuits she offered. Coffee was lovely. An additional bonus was that she was the only cafe and other than 2 shops were open.

Dog friendly. Great coffee. Nice staff. Only a few cakes left when we were there and they were all very sugary but they may have a better selection earlier in the day

We stopped here to grab a breakfast before we visited Watersmeet and the staff were so kind and offered us drinks while we waited. The bacon rolls and sandwiches were lovely and next time we visit we will definitely be coming back!

Guessing this a newly opened cafe, there is definitely room for improvement orderes crab sandwich which was disappointing, basci bread and very little filling..came with salad which was just lettuce, tomato and cucumber.real basci food. Little over prices for the food you get.

Great little cafe, nice food and coffee, super friendly owners, and a great location. A couple of tables outside to watch the harbour on a sunny day. Very nice fresh crab sandwich, which was very reasonably priced.

Just want to say a big Thank you to the lovely people at the habourside cafe on a miserable rainy day you cheered us up by being so nice and the food was delicious 😋 I wanted a cream tea before we got home from our holiday. My hot chicken wrap was delicious & freshly made . Thank you for being so kind to our puppy . We left with a big smile 😘

It closes at 3pm - we were shooed out in a hot summer day with the town still full of tourists. Clearly the owners have made all the money they need!

Coffee is good and hot. Chose not to eat after observing examples leaving the kitchen. Staff appear to run cafe to suit themselves not patrons.

Special crab sandwich for £10! Was dreadful. Poor quality of everything. They should be ashamed of selling food like that. We had to clean the table and floor was filthy. Nothing good to say about the place.

Crab sandwich overpriced and not sure if used fresh meat. Side salad like going back to 1970s: a fragment of iceberg lettuce and cucumber and false dressing

We have been to this little cafe many times before when staying in Woolacombe for our annual visit. The food was always excellent and good value. The crab and lobster dishes were AMAZING! We didn't go to Devon in 22 because of work and illness. Today on our hols again we headed to our favourite cafe. A but if a treck as stopping near Minehead. But those crab/lobster fishcakes are worth it. Now bearing in mind this cafe is normally rammed and we were able to walk straight in was a little bit of a surprise. Then noticed the quaint decor had been changed for more modern. Also noticed that half the tables had been removed and replaced by a huge drinks fridge. Then the service, ignored when entering. Not even an acknowledgement. Sat at the table for at least 5 mins before hubby got up to ask for a menu... So it's been taken over and completely changed. Unfortunately not for the better. Shabby service. Rubbish menu and all the lovely atmosphere just drained from the place. 3 lots of people came in then got up and walked out. We had drinks but only out of politeness. Such a shame. We won't be returning. Absolutely gutted.

Disappointment for this coffee which at first glance seems warm. The staff are not very friendly, you have to go inside to order, you have to help yourself to the scones and jam/cream once paid, you have to ask for it to be reheated (as indicated on the menu Yet). The outdoor tables were not cleared or cleaned. Really disappointed by the service which leaves something to be desired despite a high price for a cream tea (£8). The scones were very good though. I think there are other places with better service in the city. Dogs not allowed inside.

They didn't have any of the vegetarian options we ordered left on the menu so got a sandwich- the bread was unfortunately stale. The crab sandwich my partner ordered was massively over priced. Did enjoy the coffee/ location and staff were lovely. Shame about the food!

Oh dear. I think this is the worst food I’ve had for some time. The so called ‘posh fish finger sandwich’ arrived uncooked and flaccid, obviously having been dunked in cold oil. On the second attempt, there was no seasoning and grease dripped on every bite. The tea was made with less than boiling water out of a machine so was tepid. We fed most of it to our two daschunds. £20 for this - really?

This was closed when we visited during the Easter holiday. It maybe that they haven't reopened for the main season yet as the place was not empty.

Not having oat milk is becoming a regular thing with all Costas now. Also, please and thank you don’t seem to be in the staff vocabulary either. You can smile and tell me to have a good day, but if you don’t say please when asking for money, or thank you when I hand it over, I’m going elsewhere in future!
