I used to go to this shop regularly but now some two young guys running the shop. Ordered a mixed kebab ,he charged £10 and it's not even worth £5 of meat. Rip off. Even the established shop will give full box of donar ... Absolutely Rubbish. Greedy. Never again.

An established, legendary Gloucester Cafe serving well-prepared food with low wait times.

Since posting my original 5 stat review, I've come in person. This place may be the greatest eating establishment in Gloucester. Excellent service, excellent staff, perfect atmosphere and food which is beyond word. Oh, and its safe to say the staff really appreciate their customers. I would rate this place 10 stars if i could.

This restaurant is an absolute godsend, I’ve been vegan for six years and I’ve never had a takeaway that I could order from until I found this takeaway, I absolutely love that they do vegan options such as kebabs burgers and curries… I’ve never been able to find This in Gloucester Prior to this, As someone who’s ordered a few times from here, I have found many dishes that I like including the kebabs, Especially the chicken tikka and the chicken sides, However I have one slight problem with the labelling on the takeaway websites. On Deliveroo it is not clear the difference between the vegan dishes and vegetarian ones, on some of them they aren’t labelled as vegan or vegetarian, which is very confusing as a vegan as I don’t want to eat something which isn’t 100% vegan…. Some will say “vhicken” But will not actually specify if this is vegan or vegetarian. Also, I found out today that the chips are vegetarian and not vegan which really confused me as they served as a duo with many vegan labelled mains, But it is not clear that they contain milk or labelled as non vegan ! and this upset me as I’m a vegan and I have ate them before, I would’ve never wanted to if I knew that they were vegetarian and not vegan! I would love it if going forward each and every individual dish on Deliveroo could be labelled as vegetarian or vegan clearly to save this mishap or even have separate menus for vegan any vegetarians Asda is a big difference between the two, And for many, veganism is a very touchy subject and most people will not be happy to be served milk / dairy . Really mixed review for my first time visiting with family. All you can eat style ordering (not already cooked buffet), with limits to dish numbers based on party size. Portions per choice were small, they say to avoid food waste but all it really does is slow down the process, so you wait for more to be cooked, means you eat less as time goes on... Food itself, when arrived was tasty and hot, though a couple bits of chicken weren't edible. Allowed use a a group to try lots of different dishes. We got through 20 "portions" in 2 hours... So was not that quick service. Overall, with only 3 other groups in the restaurant, service was slow. And overall for 4 adults and a 4 year old (still charged at £14.50) - came to £120 inc. drinks. Not great value for money. Food hygiene rating is currently a 3 and could see why.

Delivery driver was a little incompetent.. had he explained nicely he couldn’t use the stairs, that’s fine, but he was grumpy and just said, “is there a lift?” We went downstairs gave him £2 and wondered why?! Food lovely portions smaller that my usual, my boyfriend enjoyed vegan

The food was really watery and not very tasty. It was quite bland and small portions.

Used to go there before and it was ok, but now with new management team and new menu it is 5 stars. I recommend it to anyone. If you go there on Sundays, kids eat for free from kids' menu. Included food, drink, and desert for the kids.

Chicken was raw!! Food was cold. Never again.
