Excellent service and food everytime

Gave me some chicken from the Bain Marie and thought I won’t notice just because he put to two pieces from the actual Doner . Is not the same taste don’t cut and keep it there. The shop looks clean but to be honest better eat a dry bread then this mess.

The best kebab shop In Gloucester it is based on Bristol road opposite Tesco Express. Very nice food never had a bad meal from here been using it for years. Staff always polite and helpful and will cater for dietary requirements. There is free street parking and disabled access is possible and a disabled parking space 20 meters from there door. They make pizza kebabs burgers and many other dishes as well as a children's menu. It is possible to phone and preorder as well as order delivery to your door.

Ordered chicken doner kebabs and the meat did not look or taste like chicken. Very disappointed. Food ended up in the bin. Would not recommend.

Popped in for a kabab felt very uncomfortable. The guys were talking in there own language and laughing and looking at me taking the micky out of me in there own little way, to the extent I wanted to walk out as I could feel myself getting angry. When these foreigners can talk english they should it's our country and they need to respect us. Guys your never take the mick out of me again , that was the first visit and the last. Hope every one of you in that shop gets karma. So bottom line is do not use this kabab shop .The food was distgusting as well,that bad I threw it in the bin all £40 worth of it. Respect our country and talk english around customers is a start. Make some decent food not 3 days old soaking in a pot of grease. If the food was great I wouldn't of minded the piss being taken out of me but it wasn't great food. Its just a dirty place with the manager chewing bubblegum. You all should be ashamed of your attitudes.

First time travelling visiting in area staying at Lenny Henry Purple Gin Palace. Well worth the walk to avoid the microwave food at Beefeater slop. Great service and mixed chicken 🐔 and lamb 🐑 Shish amazing. 🤩

Ordered here Saturday just gone then was told I had to produce a bank statement as proof I paid in order for them to give me my kebab wrap. Poor customer service can't even keep track of who they are serving. Been going here years, not anymore! Crap!

Glad I logged in to trip advisor tonight and was not surprised at the three star rating. Order regularly from them but tonight I was so fed up with the service i had to leave a review! Cold cold food stringy lamb! I think these sort of places should realise that there is a cost of living crisis and to have a takeaway is a luxury. Better off going elsewhere

I was a walk in customer. Ordered a 9" pizza and they tried to short change me of a £1. Pizza was good.

Lovely chicken kebab. Let down by the paper wrapping which means it’s a mess to unwrap and impossible to eat without cutlery. Bring back the foil wrappers!

Shish kebab and kofte ok…… a bit bland…..I enjoyed it but both portions of chips were awful….. a big soggy mass covered in sauce that made it worse. Wouldn’t go back again.

Kebab mediocre but found the staffs attitudes midly aggressive and rude, considering the amount of kebab shops in Gloucester you would think they would focus equally on there customer service as there food. Bit of friendly banter goes a long way boys! This wasn't a one off so won't be returning.

Food arrived. Terrible tastes of salt and not much else. Kebab looked like the left overs. Wont ever order from here again. How they can sell this standard of food and charge the amount they do is beyond me . Avoid this place. They should be shut down !

Arrived at 1am......to be told "too late mate, we're closed!!!" despite the sign saying nothingof the sort! Useless, didn't even wanna TRY and look after a customer! Would never, EVER bother with them again.

Ordered 5 kebab's to be delivered turns out they charge more for delivered kebab's as well as a five pounds delivery charge yes five pounds. Came to 65 pounds for 5 kebab's , wouldn't have minded so much but was absolutely awful worst kebab I've ever eaten will never order from this place again

Staying in Cotswolds from London and looked for halal takeaway kebabs- food quality and taste was very good - both doner and grilled kebabs!! Keep it up brothers!!!

BEST kebab I've had in ages. We were staying in the lockeepers inn and didn't want to eat outside so picked up a kebab. It was so good we went back the following night. Shame it's so far away, we live in kent. maybe delivery 🤣🤣

Ordered twice and both times recived the wrong order or items missing. First time they replaced the item and said they would send a free bottle of coke with next order. Second time they messed up again, sent half the order and what they did send was wrong. Replaced the items and still no bottle of coke. 4 peices of chicken in a medium shish we had waited hours for replacement and still no drink despite it saying it would be sent. Not worth the £22 paid and no refund as an option either time. Wont be ordering again as quite simply, you dont get what you paid for when you expect it.

I don’t have a great deal to say really The food was good as it normally is ! Always good in my opinion However on order I put call my mobile as we don’t hear our doorbell too well so tell them to call To get a phone call shouting at me I’m at your house I’m outside etc etc Really Just an angry aggressive call SHAME No need Shame

Beware of ordering from here! On website it asks if you want delivery or collection, the sneaky part of this is the delivery menu costs more than collection prices yet they still charge an additional delivery charge on top of this!! So in theory your paying two lots of delivery! Really annoyed with this, and surely this is not right?? I rang and questioned this stating my concerns and not happy to help at all

Haven't used kebab Express for some years but we thought we would give it another go and we were not disappointed. The food arrived on time and was piping hot. The portions were fantastic, my partner had a small lamb doner for £6.50 and struggled to finish it. I had the mixed chicken and doner wrap with chilli sauce for and it was huge and delicious. This place is great value for money and great tasting food. Would highly recommend.

I had shish kebab couple times in this place and was happy with the quality and good serving. Yesterday I decided to try something different and ordered a pizza. That was the worst experience I ever had. Im a pizza lover and had so many of them in various places and cities. This one was the worst I ever had. The quality of toppings is so poor. All unfreshed and horrible taste. Chilli sos is very poor, garlic sos quite nice.

Not much to say, does the job for what I order (mixed meat/chips) , food tastes good, cant say I have had a bad kebab from here.. There chilli sauce is a bit nasty (they make it)… but that's just my preference :)

La pregunta de la madera allí es la limpieza general, usan las mismas pinzas entre las dos carnes diferentes y las verduras. Un cliente las sacó cuando yo estaba allí, ya que estaba comiendo pizza vegetariana y usaban las mismas pinzas en todo y la última vez que comí allí tenía mal estómago. durante 2 días después de que tuve un cordero doner

I’ve used this shop for well over 10 years. Always being great. Sadly I’ve seen a decline lately tonight’s Donna was stone cold, drenched in sauce and generally a mess!!! Sort it out Fellas!!!! 😢😢

I have had kebabs here and they have been good. Normally they are open until 2am. On Sat 16th December they were not open prior to 12:30 after midnight, so you have to question there professional alism as thought they were reliable prior to this!

Food is actually ok - the service is the issue.Imagine ordering a kebab and waiting over 30 minutes for it....... Well, that happens a lot here - if you walk in off the street and order at the counter, they will fulfil telephone orders/deliveries before yours. I complained to the serving staff and was told that deliveries take priority. I complained about how long it was taking and was told "we are busy"I and six other people walked out. I will never go back. If you want a decent kebab within 5 mins of ordering, go to see Adam @ Oscars Kebab Van outside Next & Matalan. Loads of parking and the food is much nicer too.

Get a takeaway from here at least once a month.& food is always fresh. I love their shish kebabs and pizzas.

Order food they said it would take 30mis but took over 2 hours get to me even after phone call after 1hour. When food finally turn up they forgot the main pizza and still took full payment I got £5 back after arguing with deliver drivers but they still owe me £2.30 and driver said they will deliver pizza ASAP still waiting for the 4 hours and now they won't answer phone wouldn't recommend this Kebab shop poor service food OK and the steal you money like a THEIF

Love this place the food is amazing and the staff are always so friendly and act as if they've known you for years! Although £5 may seem steep for a kebab it is well worth it and the portions are big/decent .

Pero la próxima vez que le cobrará más, porque estás demasiado lejos". Así que había sido engañado cuando el conductor había dejado y, en vez de una disculpa me dieron dijeron que la próxima vez que se cobrará más. Buena comida pero horrible servicio al cliente!!

I keep coming back here every time I visit Gloucester for the simple reason " the food " kebabs are second to none and very reasonably priced my wife is a pizza person and loves this place , the staff are excellent also.

This place is by far the best kebab shop in Gloucester. The food is always fresh and perfectly cooked and it's very clean (5*rated).The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble... They'll somehow even manage to remember your preferences after just a couple of visits.Another good thing is that as it's not in the city centre it's not full of drunken idiots either, just people who know a good thing when they see it.

New to the area and was looking to find the best kebab shop - I'm pretty certain I've found it. I read some of the reviews here that were all +ve and I agree this is a very, very decent kebab shop. Super-clean, great portion sizes and loads of very happy local customers on my visit at about 6.45pm on a weekday. Large lamb doner £5.50 is exceptional value; loads of decent salad including coleslaw; garlic mayo and hot (as in bain marie hot) chilli sauce. I saw a middle-aged man come and order just a bag of chips which were of a superior standard - a bit like the bags encountered in Amsterdam or Brussels.Definitely recommend this one. Plenty of staff on, and a good variety of options.

Was starving and went in there on the off chance it may be decent. I wasn't disappointed went there 2 nights running the kofta and the lamb Donna are stunning as good as I've had abroad!

I have had kebabs from many different places, but the ones they sell here are a class above. If you go in the shop and order one you can see straight away see how clean it is. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. The prices are very good, but most of all the food is amazing.

Me and my family have been having takaways from here for a few years . very nice staff food always served with a smile food is always hot and freshly cooked we have tried all of there different kebabs and they are all lovely and not over greasy . they do quite a big selection of food which is good for fussy children and husband's it's definitely one of the good takeaways in Gloucester .
