Concorde cafe is a proper cafe proper food proper atmosphere. It's like a being lost in the past just how cafes should be would highly recommend coming here. Would be returning don't you worry. PROPER FOOD PROPER CAFE.

cafe best breakfast in gloucester well known Dave has ran it for years, people travel from all over to go there. Well know and loved by locals. Parking is free and can be found on Bristol road and side roads close to it. Disabled access is good and can park close. Takeaway is also offered and they will cater for your needs.

Cracking little cafe on the edge of the city. Had the full fry up and was very tasty! Proper home made grub to make you feel better for your days work! Will be back when I’m in the area again.

Online times say half 2 close on Google here it says 17:30 Feeling really let down considering just wanted a take away and people literally just got given food minutes before walking in. Doesn’t even have signage to say if open or shut doors were open just silly really!

The food was really tasty , we had english breakfast and the mushrooms and the hashbrowns were yum. I would suggest all to try this restaurant atleast once. It's really good if you like english breakfast.

I was asked for money to buy breakfast this morning, but rarely carry cash so offered instead to buy breakfast on my card. The person was well presented and coherent. However the man behind the till immediately took against the person I was with and with a look of pure disgust on the his face indicated that the person would have to take his breakfast outside. I said he would not and was going to sit inside, Bristol Road is not a place to leisurely sit outside, enjoy the scenery/atmosphere and watch the world go by. Having to leave the person to their own devices as I had a day of training, I left feeling that as soon as I was gone they would force this person outside. The cafe was empty when we arrived and with no-one else on the road was highly unlikely to have had other diners before the person I took in there was finished. I have no proof and I may be wrong, I hope I am wrong, regardless his treatment and derision of this diner was appalling. Since when are homeless or vulnerable people not people and deserve to be treated in such a manner? This could well have been a friend or family member who had lost their wallet or been mugged.

It's a basic cafe that does all day breakfasts as well as a range of other stuff like burgers and sandwiches. Breakfast was good and tea was good and strong

Haven’t been to the Concorde for a few years. That was the best breakfast I’ve eaten for years everything cooked to perfection the coffee was as good as any of your high street chains. My wife also noted the place is immaculate and the price.I’m sure they must have made mistake. Highly recommend the Concorde see you soon 👏👏👏👏

visited at 7am (advertised opening time) and no one there doors locked waited for 15 minutes and call no answer. Terrible service took out business elsewhere

Went in for a full English breakfast, but a little disappointed with it. The fried bread looked like it had been deep fried, full of grease. The fried egg was hard, not my choice...

Went in today for the first time in many years and it was just a good if not better than I remember the breakfast was fantastic and the service was excellent and the cafe itself was lovely and clean definitely going back 🙂

Nice, they have a 5 star rating for food hygiene. The manager was nice, sweet lady. Had breakfast with friends and they had enjoyed the English breakfast. Sorry we forgot to leave a tip.

Staying at the nearby Gloucester Quays we found the nearby restaurants were expensive for what they provided . We tried the Concorde and got a good sized breakfast at a reasonable price. The food was well prepared and no problems with quality. The cafe was full of workmen a recommendation in itself. The cafe was clean and divided up for covid safety.

Love concorde cafe. Last few visits only had cups of tea while waiting for my car to be fixed. But have had the best cooked breakfast here x

No seating inside cus covid, but plenty of seating outside - quick service and very well priced. Great place to mingle with the locals as you have a generously portioned breakfast. Owner and staff friendly and well maintained premises. Never seen fruit machines in a cafe before, but if that's your thing - there ya go! This'll deffo be my regular from now on!

Yes it's the first time I've have been in there as it's a lockdown they only provide a takeaway service. Nobody is allowed to sit in the cafe to eat. I had a bacon and egg sandwich 🥪 😋 and a sausage and mushroom 🍄 sandwich 🥪. To take away. Took it home to eat.

Nothing major to complain about and nothing to get excited about. Most the ingredients were ok, sausage not great. Service was efficient, outdoor seating and toilet. Only Instant coffee on offer, depends what you want, it fulfils a quick cheap brekkie

Been going for 15 years with my dad. The food is amazing and good choice of menu. I moved to Milton Keynes and there is no old school cafe like this anywhere to be seen.

I haven't been in the Concorde cafe in the indoor market in Halifax west Yorkshire since I was a little boy and the staff and food are still amazing. Love this cafe and it really brought back really good memories for me. Thanks staff at the Concorde cafe in Halifax.

Always superb service and food. What you see is what you get. Daves a legend and well known for being Immaculate and keeping an Immaculate cafe. The food comes out on the plate cooked perfectly and positioned on the plate the same way for 25 years. Great prices and easy parking. Well done.

The food was good, much better than the decor! The staff were friendly and the service was quick. I definitely look forward to returning soon. Their full English was generous as the staff was happy to make substitutions. The coffee was good, too.

Very good all day breakfast but a little above average price

Very disappointed. Been coming in here since I was 16 nearly 30 years ago and known the owner for even longer. I go there for a good value big breakfast that's only available until 1pm. Today in the heavy Christmas traffic I wasn't sure if I'd make it by 1pm but knew I'd be close so tried calling before 1pm to order breakfast, no answer. Was there by 1pm and if I had someone with me could have ordered breakfast by 1pm but by the time I got my wheelchair out of car and got up their difficult step in doorway it was 1:01pm Waiter was on phone anyway (probably why I couldn't get through) and a guy in front of me. Tried to order breakfast at 1:05 after telling him all that (and more I won't go in to on here) and he wouldn't let me have it!! So I went a few doors up and got an even better value breakfast which was nicer too. Although it was my first time in there they changed items on set menus without question, no problem. The owner I know text me after, agreeing with waiter so I guess I'll be spending my money elsewhere in the future. I was in here with dad and a mate and on my own in last month. The breakfast (if ordered by 1pm without exception!) is good value for money but I don't like the sausages at all and even when I ask for double mushrooms the portion is tiny. Small black pudding too. Bacon is nice and thick and eggs are cooked perfectly, I'll give them that but wasn't surprised Trojan a few doors down had better rating on here as breakfast was better (and even better value all day) and although I'd only just met them were more accommodating.

Visited for brunch on a Sunday with my children. The guy that served us was proper miserable. I'm afraid I won't be visiting again. I'll try Trojan a couple doors down next time. I would have gone there today if they weren't so busy. I can see why now!!
