I had my Baby Shower here. There were 11 of us in total and we all had afternoon tea which consisted of four delicious courses and unlimited teas, coffees, hot chocolates and water. The food was so good and the service was outstanding. Sharon was so accommodating and friendly and no request was too big. The staff went to the trouble of decorating the chairs for us too! It was a really lovely afternoon full of laughter, yummy food and excellent service and I cannot fault it at all! Highly recommend to everyone wanting a quaint, friendly and intimate setting that serve delicious food and go above and beyond.

No importa, me gustaría volver.

Nosotros esperamos. Nos dimos por vencidos y nos fuimos.

Two mugs of Cappachino's was approx £5 or less A few small tables in set in an ancient part of the New Inn hotel on the main street. Can walk through into the historic pub here and take a photo of the ancient horse-carriage. Of course the New Inn is anything but New. It's historic and haunted. Hot snacks here including vegetarian available (Spinach and Feta) but they do close early. These a relight bites and not big meals. At the time of writing, they do a Baguette meal with a hot drink for £7.50 each person Coffee and Cake for two is about £5 English (British) Tea is also available -mug , cup or pot of tea. Small with traditional oak beams and counter. If you are in a larger group you can go inside the pub/ dining area instead would be my suggestion. Soup of the day is served here with bread for about £4.30 lots OF SWEET CAKES!

Simple unpretentious food in the coffee shop part of the historic New Inn. A bit cramped but more than compensated for by the friendly waitress and the quality and quantity of the food. Good value for money

Popped into this tiny little coffee shop attached to The New Inn. Lovely welcome and good service from the lady running it. Nice coffee but the selection of herbal and fruit teas was very depleted. Very different from the usual Costa and Starbucks. Prices reasonable.

Very old fashioned and quaint coffee shop which is run by a lovely lady who will bend over backwards to please. The food is average cafe style food e.g. all day breakfast, toasted tea cakes, sandwiches etc. Excellent value for money.

We arrived here for afternoon coffee after shopping. The place had a couple of other clients but was otherwise empty. To be honest, we simply wanted a place to sit for a while, enjoy a coffee and cake before continuing with our day in the city.

Busy coffee was as expected for Costa not bad at all. Tried the frozen frappe they are doing for summer.

The rooms are suitably warm for November. Marsdon pub. Keeps and serves a quality ale but not so many options. Food expensive for what it is. Clearly overpriced for small options that might include things that dont. The cod and chips dish was expected to have a decent sized cod but looked more akin to a skinny small plaice with more batter than actual fish. At £13.50 expected better than this and probably overpriced by 50%. Guinness £5. Nice atmosphere with large screens showing sport without sound. Various seating areas. Not sure if a large retail pub chain is good for food nowadays. A cod and chips at the local chippy far better value when compated to recent visits.

The choice is not wide but their pastries are quite good. Prices not too high. There's something to eat about.
