Always good food from here, best around

We have eaten from here many times and it's always been great. Haven't eaten from here for awhile but was expecting the same great food! Unfortunately not 🥲 The chicken satey was quite bland and tough. I also ordered the Yung Chow Fried noodles extremely disappointed 😞 It seemed less tasty than my husbands Chow Mein noodles 🍜 and definitely not fried! Such a shame and spoilt my evening Saturday tea.

This is definitely the best Chinese in Gloucestershire no doubt about it if you haven’t already give Sunny gardens a try you won’t regret it

Dreadful. Usual takeaway closed so tried Sunny Garden. What a horrible experience. Food order taken from behind a grubby Perspex screen. Money put in a tub. The place felt tired & generally unloved. Got home too a very small curry with rubbery chicken. Egg fried rice somehow morphed into tasteless boiled white rice. Spring rolls were very small & bland. All in all an unpleasant experience & one I won’t be experiencing again. Not good & they are lucky to get one star.

This a takeaway only. They only accept cash payment. The spring roll and spare ribs were great. I would recommend them both.

Best Chinese in Gloucester. Would of been 5 stars but they don't deliver and parking is pretty rubbish there and it's cash only. If they delivered and took card I think there custom would rocket

This is the best chinese takeaway in Glos and i have been to them all. Food is great, good prices. Only does cash though & collection only. Its downfall as we now live opposite side of town. But still worth the trip, when we do.

The third best special chow main ever

Had to add my own seasoning to the tofu dish when I got home, satay vegetables were disgusting, smelled funny and rubbery texture. First time trying, never again!

Different opinions on this restaurant between me and my mates. I think the food is tasteless, bought house noodles and to be honest I have ate better pot noodles than this. My mate loves it because is a lot for a portion with a lot of meat and onion to get stuffed with, but again no taste whatsoever

Our local Chinese takeaway of choice. There are others around but we've been coming here for years and the quality is always excellent. Worth noting they only take cash - head to Tesco just up the road if you need a cashpoint.

Set meal F, I could live on this meal

First time we used were recommended however food for us was disappointing no taste in king prawn curry just as if had been shown the watery curry sauce however would give them another chance was was spotless clean and they had loads of other customers

Sorry sunny garden but just had your chicken curry and it was awful. Chicken really rubbery and the curry sauce watery and tasteless. Left all the chicken. My partner said his Cantonese sweet and sour Chinese was OK. Won't be ordering again

Had food from here tonight after not eating from here for a long time due to being to fare away. And I have to say we are pleasantly surprised with the price and taste of the food very happy and will be eating from here more often 👍

Really like food from Sunny Garden. Lots of choice in the menu. Always tasty. Served hot and quickly. Downside is they only accept cash and nearest cashpoint is no longer across the road. Wish they delivered...

Chewy greasy chicken curry, waste of money

Delicious ! Me and my family decided to try a new Chinese more local and we checked the reviews. No problems with our order, however it did take a while for the order to come through. I’d advise to book in advance especially on the weekend!

so after thirty years of using this takeaway i will be taking my business elsewhere,i left my ecig on the counter about seventy pounds worth on sunday ,rang up and they said yes we have it,said i would collect later,however could not make it back same night,closed monday ,eventually got down there thursday to be told it had been thrown away,as only a certain number of people work there somebody knows who threw it away or pinched it more like,feel really let down ,shame cos food was good,dont believe a word they are telling me.

Personally I would advise to phone up in advance with your order especially at weekends there can be a waiting a short while as they get busy. Staff are always polite the food there is very enjoyable

I just bought a ham omelette and chips for £5.20 and when I got home and opened it up there was three pubes just sat on top of the omelette, I feel physically sick! I shall never be returning and if you are thinking about going there I would highly recommend you don't!

Always a great take-away, friendly and polite staff

I retract my last review. Tonight was pathetic they can't cook the veg curry it is more like onions in dish water, crispy CHILLI beef had no kick let alone chillis and the beef tasted old. I took my order back twice and in the end I got a refund and went to the EMPEROR in Quedgeley it is just so much better.

They do not offer a home delivery service but the food is very good it is worth placing an order over the phone and going to collect it.

Reheated chicken balls likr chewing an old boot raw carrot in the duck and pineapple lovely (not) go Chinese couple doors down much good wok much superior taste and value for money.
