Restaurant and staff very friendly and well presented, but unfortunately the food did live up to the rest. Couldn’t even finish what I ordered. Possibly the worst I’ve had. Shame

First time trying and we will be back 100%. Actually think this could be the best chippy we’ve ever had!! Curry sauce was amazing and the chips were actually crispy!!!

Unfortunately very poor. Mostly full of scraps and the Chips that were there was very dry. Also, I've never seen such a small portion of fish. There was more recycling than food unfortunately

Last time I was here was in 1998. Still serving great tasting, cooked when ordered food. No sitting in tubs of fat or left baking under a heater lamp, fresh out the fryer and into a box. Yummy. Go visit. Parking a bit tight, so choose the timing well.

Great fish, tasty chips and fantastic chicken - all for excellent value and generous portion sizes. Easily the best takeaway for miles around and will definitely be coming again. Now most likely to be our new go-to for takeaways!

Nice chips. Go at lunch time so you can get Chicken Nuggets and chips for £4.90 cheaper than dinner time. With the £4.90 it comes with a drink as well. Definitely worth the money. The burgers are decent but very pricey. Go at lunchtime at about 1155-1215 absolutely quiet inside and about a 5-15 minute wait due to the freshness of the chips and the sides you can get.

Great freshly cooked cod and chips

You have to queue but that's because they only cook fresh and for good reason. When it arrives the chips are crisp on the outside, fluffy in the middle. The fish just melts in the mouth and the batter!! - you really need to try it to understand how good it is

Love this chippy. Their GF cod is especially delicious. Eat it while it’s hot!

Beautifully cooked and great service

Just had fish n chips from the Longlevens shop. Cooked around 18.50 and driven to the other end of Longford it was thoroughly delicious dinner. Piping hot and totally delicious. Thank you!

They consistently sell some of the best fish and chips money can buy. The fish is always fresh and cooked to order. I regularly go for a piece of haddock.

I went in late as I was on my way back from work and the staff were really lovely and cooked me something even though they were busy cleaning up ready to close. Food was lovely as normal and I still say they have the best curry sauce around!!!

Ring shop to check hours to be on safe side. Always great staff who try to help as much as possible, veggie menu is great especially the homemade cheese and veg cake & they also sell cheese and onion fry-its/croquettes

Not the cheapest chippy, but not over the odds either. Fish was divine and plenty of chips to share around from a single large portion. Also, battered pineapple rings, enough said.

Lovely fish and chips. Make sure you order in a cardboard box. Everything is cooked to order so you will wait 5 to 10 minutes but worth it, cash only! Large fish is huge

They used to do the best fish and chips ever. Now, they are merely very good. Bring back the Cod Loin and they'll be 5 star again.

Great fast service, friendly smiling staff. I highly recommend the homemade, made to order fishcakes.

Most expensive take away fish and chips I've ever bought, and the worst I've ever tried to eat. Even the dog left the leftovers. The service was awful too, had to wait 25 minutes because they gave my order to someone else and they didn't even offer an apology.

Really good fish and chips, bit pricey but certainly excellent quality. Young, friendly staff who take pride in their work. Well worth a 5 star rating.
