Cross Keys Inn in Gloucester

This Inn is very personal choice. They do have a good DJ Roger which is good. They do Karaoke 🎤 personal choice. This is up a side street and play music all day which is nice. Could do with a bit of decorating. But they have a jolly barman who is good fun and really interacts well with the customers (Flynn). It is reasonable for price.

Very keen young bar man Flyn I think . Knows how to talk to guests and serve as well.

Stumbled upon the Cross Keys yesterday afternoon, met friends from Bristol, we were in Gloucester from Wolverhampton, and we heard Northern Soul playing from the street, so went in for a pint. Ended up staying for a few hours, the music was great, and then it turned into an 80s disco. The place filled out and everyone was dancing. Absolutely great fun, great atmosphere, lovely landlady. Will definitely return if we're ever in Gloucester again!

One of the best pubs in Gloucester. Pub owner is a very good man and have always enjoyed a drink in this place. Definitely worth a visit

We really liked it sat outside here. It was a very hot day and a drink was very welcome as we're the staff. We enjoyed listening to the music while sipping our drinks. A lovely afternoon here. Will be happy to visit again 😊

Best northern soul pub, ever......

Quiet night with a handful of regulars. Bar tender was very attentive, friendly and helpful.

Great pub! Music, atmosphere, drinks and staff all quality.

Walked in and stared at. Ordered a drink, warned once finished the drink to leave by a local at the bar because "he was leaving" we left swiftly, cancelling our order.

Nice cosy pub,a very lively disco on the night I went 😊 unfortunately I didn't try any food because they weren't serving and it was very late Saturday night.

Great Hidden Gem in the centre down an alley. Landlord and landlady offer g8 service and music on Friday/Saturday nights is excellent old school Motown and Northern Soul

Our favourite pub. Northern soul, Reggie and Ska music galore. Land lord and lady are very welcoming. Still the best bar around. Loyalty stands.

Always pop in here for a couple when visiting from Swindon, usually once a month. Great boozer and great music if you like your Northern Soul, Ska and 2-Tone. Hope it never changes.

We visited last night (29/08) and the food was amazing! Equally, the staff were very attentive and the service was great! We will definitely be returning!

rude and disrespectful. me and my friend needed to use the toilet and had the supposed owner come UP to the ladies bathroom door and say we can't just come in and use the toilet. we came back out, the pub wasn't very lively and no one at bar to ask anyways. and he proceeds to start shouting at us saying we need to ask to use the toilet and say "please may we use the toilet" as if we knew he was the 'owner' sat outside having a drink and a cig with his mates laughing around as every other customer was and may i say again, at the point we walked in no one was at the bar to ask and we were in a rush to get somewhere. he's told us it was disrespectful and shouting in our faces and getting up and close to us pointing his finger up at us. not the service people would like to be greeted with as we weren't rude. obnoxious, or loud and we were very much sober so not causing a scene.

Fun pub, we where visiting Gloucester only for one night and the Cross keys pub drew us in with its great music, ska and northern soul, played some banging tunes, so if you like your music loud and your pub a bit rough and ready, meant in the nicest way, then this is where you need to be

Excellent place introduced to here by my daughter, music was buzzing classic soul tunes from yesteryear and very friendly locals would recommend this to anyone.

Another great little bar in the centre of Gloucester, tucked down a side street that announces itself to the world with pumping music for an 'ahem' older generation. Northern soul, disco, and 80s rnb rocks the house down here with a really nice vibe at the weekend! Very friendly hosts and a great mix of people from youth to 'danced to the original' veterans. Great place to have a nice pint and an old skoool dance. Loved it!
