Taxi Cartel, a Mexican restaurant in Bali, offers delicious cuisine, but be prepared for slower service. Despite the wait, the food is definitely worth it!

Great food, excellent service, will definitely be back next time I'm staying in the area.

Sorry to say not a great experience. Took 30mins to order drinks. Being a busy sat early evening that may be excused but main portions were disappointing - 3 king prawns don't make a main portion even if you fill a large bowl with sauce; charging nearly £20 for that mean a portion can't be justified. Friends had similar problems with small amounts of meat in their main choices. Oddly the starters were reasonably sized and generally tasty, making the mains even more disappointing. Sauces lacked punch and freshness. Service was brusque and certainly nobody wanted to know if everything was OK, hence the need to write it here. I'm afraid I'll be getting my curry elsewhere in the future.

Great food, and a nice little local bar. One of my favorite BBQ places, we typically drive about 30 minutes to eat here. Definetly worth it!

The last time we visited it was good and we gave you 4 stars. This time is definitely a 5 star review. Reception were welcoming and friendly. The rooms had just undergone a carpet upgrade and it felt really fresh and clean. We did not have chance to try the food, but we did last time and it was superb. We definitely recommend a stay or a meal here. Bonus point ..it's perfectly situated in the town with parking

A short walk from the city centre with convenient parking. Despite there being a sports team staying in the hotel it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful.

Tasty and well prepared meal with good service. Generous helping of local mussels with excellent front of house management. Highly recommended

Visited in the evening for cocktails. Asked for one with a different spirit in but they declined saying their spirits are premixed. For the prices charged, this is pretty poor. I want to see what you're putting in my drink!

One of the best meals I’ve had in ages! We had lunch here today. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was EXCELLENT!! I had a gammon steak, which was cooked perfectly. It came with options, I had salad which was nice and crisp, and chips which were really nice. Thank you for a lovely meal.

So VERY RUDE! Couldn’t believe it. Tried to get a cup of tea here this afternoon with my little boy. But left after experiencing some very nasty staff. We went to the Riverside cafe just along the river, where the staff and atmosphere was excellent. AVOID

I used to really like this pub. Gone rapidly downhill. Such a shame. The reviews below do not reflect it as it is now.

Burgers were ok but basic, a bit unseasoned. The sides however were very poor. We got the spice bag fries and chicken wings and they were bad. The fries were bland, dusty, soggy and didn’t taste anything like how they should have been. The wings were fresh and crispy but who in 2025 sells unseasoned, plain wings? The Diet Coke was actually fake unbranded ‘cola’ which wasn’t advertised and was priced the same as branded coke would have been. The rooftop terrace was empty on a sunny pay day so it tells you what you need to know. Service was great and vibe in the actual restaurant was nice. I wouldn’t recommend eating here.
