The best restaurants in Exeter South West

We have loved this place since we moved to Exeter but the last three times we have been there we all have had tummy cramps and upset tummy three days after. At first we thought I was a coincidence …. But the third time we are sad to say we will not be eating here again. Also noticed the ribs have had freezer burner

Best Chinese in Exeter top quality good words cannot explain

We stayed for two nights in order to attend a family wedding. The staff were very friendly from the outset and we were made to feel very welcome. Meals were plentiful and well cooked and our room, although basic, was comfortable. Thanks to Steve, Mandy, Lorraine and Marcus - would recommend!

The pizzas were excellent and the cocktails were fabulous.

We stopped here whilst waiting for a train, we had a nice drink (good range of top end drinks) .., then… we found they sold cigars … they have a cigar menu! Fantastic. Ordered a Nicaraguan cigar from the drew estate.. they have bar tender knew everything about the cigars, cut it for me.. then we enjoyed it outside at a table. BRILLIANT .. and you can see live train times as well. So you can drink, smoke and still be on time . Loved the place

Great experience in the ikea restaurant and value for you money. Amazing service from Lloyd as well.

Location is very beautiful,otherwise small portions and expensive

THE BEST CHINESE AROUND! I’m not kidding when I say I drive from Newton Abbot to come here. Everything I’ve had is amazing but the salt & pepper chicken is the highlight for me. Nice big chunks of chicken and the seasoning if full of flavour without the overload of salt you typically get from other places. Everyone is always really polite and accommodating when it comes to some of our dietary requirements.

Went here as a final meal of our holiday. We have eaten all over the world and we have to say that our meal this evening was out of this world. The flavours were simply glorious. The service was brilliant as well. Italian food doesn’t get better than this. Thank you for making our evening wonderful !!!

Asked for small fish & chips and in less than one minute was presented with enough to feed 4! And what a brilliant feed! The fish was brilliant, the batter amazing and the chips were perfect. Would recommend. It's cash only so when I'm heading that way hit me up. Opening times on this page. Not open Tuesdays.

TAMARIND BAY! What a place! Me and dad were working away last week and we fancied a quick curry, we were going to take away our food but after sitting in the restaurant for a few minutes and being treated like royalty (even though we were covered in paint splats and dust from the job) we were greeted with the upmost amount of respect and professionalism. THE FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE!!!!!! We are from Portsmouth and we would genuinely go out of our way to come back to Exeter for a curry again. all round amazing experience lovely staff and excellent food!

Had my party here and the manager and all staff were fantastic!! Would highly recommend.
