The most wonderful dinner. It was out of this world. I had Bass that included caviar amongst other fish delights. The chef provided an eye watering delight and a taste that mesmerised the mind, body and soul. I made sure to tell the landlord. The staff were brilliant too. We will return again for sure. Good choice of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Beautiful clean, well cared for Pub. You really must visit. It is worth booking a table though. Not to be disappointed.

We originally came out for a light lunch at the local café, but having waited almost 20 minutes without even beingacknowledged, we gave up and came here. So glad we did, we were served very quickly even though the pub was very busy, and we both had the chicken madras which was absolutely delicious. I can honestly say it is amongst if not the best pub curry I have ever had. The staff were extremely pleasant and efficient. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever.

We were recommended this pub for dinner and we were not disappointed at all. I had the soup with home made bread and shepherds pie and my husband had the mushroom and Stilton for starters and the lamb burger. We were too full up for a desert. Traditional pub food. Big Jo (she called herself that) was so funny and attentive. Nice friendly little pub woukd definitely go back there.

Myself and my mother visited on Monday (17/2) and are utterly impressed with the smashing service we received from the 2 young girls running the tea shop (sorry we didn’t get their names) Both were polite, knowledgeable and patient considering that the cafe was at full capacity with a queue at the door and were rushing around trying to fulfil customers needs. We overheard a negative comment on the tea room being full of young members of staff but please don’t let this put you off as they were truly brilliant! We had lunch which was super yummy and the coffee was to die for. This was our first time visiting after 4 years, we didn’t have the best experience back then but we can honestly say how much this place has improved. We will definitely be coming back very soon! Thank you for a 5* experience.

We stayed at the hotel with our dog so we ate here. All the staff were lovely, and enjoyed pandering to our hound. We were also looked after very nicely. The starters! AMAZING. Top quality food. The scotch egg was the best I’ve had. We were happy with the starters on both nights. We had the steak for the first evening and it was cooked and presented perfectly. The menu changed slightly over the two days so we had plenty of options. Congratulations to the chef and the team

Hungry and thirsty after a long hike we came to Chipping Camden in seach of hearty fare. Sadly most places were closed or closing (at 230pm!) so we were happy to get a table at the Bistro on the Square. Given the prices - eg £20 for a burger or fish and chips - and attentive service I guess my expectation was higher. Moules Frites was OK but frites soggy. Fish and Chips OK but basic pub standard, Mushroom Ravioli OK but underseasoned, Caesar salad poor (inedible chicken) soggy sweet potato fries and some pork bites we send back as they were cold. Not terrible but I think you could do better in this town at this price. Dog friendly though!!

No reviews since 2019? Hmmm.... After a morning strolling around the truly lovely gardens here, Winthrop's is a great place to grab a drink and something to eat. Although the menu is limited, it all seems to be homemade and is very reasonably priced. The cafe is a nice place to sit and enjoy your meal, and there's an attractive terrace for warmer days. At peak times, the queues can be quite long and service seems a little slow, and when we visited a touch chaotic, but these are minor quibbles.

We stayed one night to start the Cotswolds Way trail and really enjoyed our stay. There's a really cozy pub with great local real ale, a good quality Indian restaurant and renovated rooms all within a few steps of each other. We met people in the bar at night and at breakfast the next morning. I'd recommend if you are on trip in the area.

We didn’t stay at the hotel - we rented a house in Chipping Campden and walked here for dinner so I can’t judge the hotel but the restaurant was fantastic! I had the salmon with mushy peas - doesn’t sound sexy but I’m telling you whatever was in that pea sauce - I cleaned the plate! Great service - beautiful dining room - AAA+++
