The stay was very enjoyable , staff were very attentive & the food, we had breakfast and evening meal, was exceptional. We have stayed in Chipping Campden several times and would stay here again.

The room we had was nice however only had a freestanding bath in the bathroom meaning that if you wish to just have a shower it was one handed and stood holding a shower head, bath was chipped and a bit tired need reviewing urgently and is disappointing for the money. Breakfast was nice and hotel bar good unfortunately was spoiled by a rude young waitress that first shrugged when we asked for a champagne bucks fizz and then told us it was" shortly to early for that" then brought the wrong tabels breakfast to us and when we prompted her that this wasn't what we had ordered she replied with "are you sure " this is not what I expect from a saff member anywhere. Other than that the place has the potential to impress sadly just not me.

Fair option in the center of town. Room was overpriced and small. Funny thing is that the shower was probably on the the biggest one I ever used... but the sink was so small that it would overflow as soon as you’d turn water on. Bizarre use of the space!

We spent 3 nights at Kings Inn and it was a very pleasant stay in a comfortable hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Lucy who organised our tour of Cotswold village with fantastic taxi driver Mark. You're a star Mark. The food at Jack Rabbit restaurant was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay.

We didn’t stay but we have just eaten the most gorgeous Sunday lunch. Such a lovely atmosphere, lovely and clean. Staff were super friendly and the roast dinner was the best I have eaten out in a long while. The roast potatoes were delicious! Patrizio deserves a special mention...really welcoming, friendly and funny. Thank you all very much

All hotels I have stayed in the village are very old so none of them is very quiet as you can hear noise from the corridor and the street. Take a pair of earplugs and you will be fine. The room is very clean but can get really hot during the summer. The restaurant is lovely. Very small TV.

Perfectly placed in the centre of town, beautiful interior, attentive calm staff and an incredibly comfortable bed (room 110 - small but perfectly lovely, bathroom with bath, perhaps a paint refresh and some finer touches for those paying more). Food was delicious and service first rate. We were on the special Sunday night package which included breakfast and late check out for £75 with 2 courses for lunch or dinner, very reasonable esp location wise. The town is simply beautiful with plenty of discrete stunning tea rooms, restaurants, shops and pubs and easy access to stunning country walks. What's not to love.

Quaint old hotel in a picturesque village. Staff friendly, however a fair amount of noise coming from outside which was surprisingly noisy at night. Enjoyed my stay and breakfast was lovely, just needs to be a bit more sound proof.

Lovely hotel situated right in the centre of Chipping Campden, very close to many other pretty Cotswold towns & villages. Lovely bedroom, excellent food. Staff are friendly, helpful and appear to be genuinely interested. We really enjoyed staying there and would happily stay again in the future.

The only pros about this stay was that the staff were all very friendly and the food in the restaurants was excellent. The hotel itself was old and tired. decor was very worn and needed an update. Our room was even more old and tired. It reminded me of the kind of place I would have stayed in when I was in my twenties and wanted to splurge. The day was very warm, and the room was probably 80 degrees when we entered, as it had no AC. Thank goodness there was a fan and we were able to get one of the windows to open. This room was sorely over priced without the Cotswolds class. When in the Cotswolds, B&B's are the way to go.

Well, they need to come out to Derbyshire to learn about fine dining and maybe submit a dress code, trainers and ripped jeans isn't the place for a fine dining restaurant. Noisy, loud kids shouldn't be allowed either so we won't be dining there anymore. The cheese board wasn't that great anyway. Nothing special about the food, so compare with other fine dining restaurants before booking here.

Had a champagne afternoon tea here for Mother's day and while the food was very nice the price was far too high for what we received (£70 for two people). The service was slow and the tea was your basic twining tea bag and there were no tea options. Definitely not worth the money when compared to local tea rooms offering the same or more for a much lower price.

The restaurant would be rated higher but the venue as a whole lost points based upon our room. The restaurant food was very nice with good size portions. The staff in the restaurant, bar and hotel were all very friendly and polite. The room we stayed in however could use more lighting and was very hot even with the windows fully open. It was also quite noisy as it was above the kitchen and a/c units. We would stay again but would ask for a different room.

Booked for Christmas with my wife and daughter. Absolutely brilliant😀. Breakfast, morning coffee, full lunch (Christmas lunch was superb), afternoon tea & then dinner! Staff were great, couldn't do enough for us & especially our daughter. Christmas gift included + reindeer food... If you want to get away for a few days over this period, then look no further for a hotel.

The hotel is brilliantly presented and the staff are friendly and welcoming. They allowed us an early check in as we had a wedding that day to attend and the room was free before hand. The bedroom was well furnished and clean, although very warm. The heating was on full blast! The only criticism I have of the room was there weren't any plug sockets by the bed to charge a phone. Instead they were on the floor at the other end. The breakfast was great, pouched eggs had to be the best I've had yet. However serving breakfast on a black plate is not for everyone. Yuk!

Hotel more than welcoming. Inserted in the historical part of the town. Comfortable rooms, bathroom with a beautiful and functional shower. It has a garden which from the window seemed very well looked after. Professional and kind staff at the same time without falling into that detachment that you sometimes find when travelling. Excellent breakfast.

We were surprised to be charged an additional £50 as a reserve on registration, of all the hotels in the world I have stayed at this has never happened, the fact that you have registered your card should be enough, the money is still held against my account 2 days after leaving! The room we used was a 'Premium' room but needed attention, light bulbs not working, cold on initially entering heating found to have turned off at stopcock not the stats, cobwebs hanging from ceiling and carpets badly frayed on 3 sides of the room. In the very nice looking bathroom the free standing taps to the central bath tub were insecure at the floor and rocked excessively, disappointed.

Utterly dreadful food - devoid of all character, utterly steless and cooked in a desultory fashion. The menu in its entirity was utterly dire - it didn't appear anything was worth bothering with. We were dining early ahead of a concert at the music festival, and their restaurant was opening specially. Talk about abusing a captive audience. The staff agreed the food was dire when we complained (two other tables complained as well) but the only excuse was that it somehow gets better after six. We ordered at 5:30 so the 'excuse' barely applies, in my opinion. £100 for two courses inluding a bottle of so-so wine is hardly cheap for this bland, boring half-attempt at a meal. Avoid, avoid, avoid. We'd have done better with a bag of chips.

We eat here whenever in Tetbury. Excellent food, quick service and great choice. Staff usually good but today they were great. Quick, attentive and couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed our meal. Pizza's very good and very light base so although large you don't feel stuffed. Other food we saw come out including the specials looked very good. Butcombe Ale excellent

Nice café, with mismatched decor. Barely friendly waitresses. Don't think about paying with a 50-pound note, it's simply "No" Cinnamon roll not exceptional and neither is the hot chocolate. But the cafe is open longer than those on the same road.

We stopped by as a group of 10 children and adults, a welcomed rest after a big walk! On ordering, the gentlemen serving was really helpful with allergies and alternative meals, as they were out of gluten free pasta. It was agreed my son would have a chicken burger with an alternative bun (as it contained egg). I was feeling confident. On serving the food, the lady delivering it brought 2 chicken burgers that looked identical to the table and said 'that's the different one' and promptly left. When she brought the next lot of food, I questioned this as was expecting one bun to be different, her response was very curt and dismissive, as if allergies were an inconvenience to her. My 4 yr old having a life threatening allergy, is not something I take lightly. Eventually, on the 3rd trip back out, once the food was already cold, she confirmed they were identical and both safe, again she was very rude in her tone. I appreciate they were busy, but this is no excuse. Overall the food was good, but I could not relax and enjoy the experience. The lady needs upskilling on her allergy awareness!
