My two friends and I had decided to visit Tremenheere Sculpture Park today, two of us would visit the gardens whilst our friend who uses an electric chair had coffee and cake in Tremenheere Kitchen and visited the shop, after which we would join her, we would then all have lunch together at the Kitchen. We were all really looking forward to our visit and off we went to the kitchen and asked the staff member for a table explaining our plan, the attitude of the staff member was shocking, rude and totally unhelpful; she didn’t address the Lady who uses a wheelchair at all when she spoke to her, told us that our friend couldn’t use the main area of the cafe as she had a dog, the dog in question is an assistance dog, small and very well behaved and the Lady in question never goes anywhere without her dog. The staff member huffed and puffed when asked again for a table by me for my friend , she made us all feel unwelcome and an inconvenience to her, her attitude was detrimental and discriminatory, the three of us decided to abandon our visit to the gardens and kitchen due to her attitude and we will not visit again, so a word of warning to all wheelchair users ..................don’t visit Tremenheere Kitchen as you are NOT WELCOME. Our friend was very upset by this experience so we left the site, we then went along to the Penzance Heliport Café, where we were all welcomed as equal citizens , the Staff were courteous, helpful going out of their way to accommodate us all and provide the best hospitality they could, which after the experience we had received at Tremenheere Kitchen was much appreciated.

Hellys is handily located near the bus and train stations, and a short walk from the centre of Penzance. We called in here a couple of times when staying in Penzance. The service was friendly, and the coffee good. We will certainly call in again when in town.

The food was amazing, more vegan choices might be good but overall very good experience. Recommend the feast and the bread stuffed with cheese, very good.

We were having a walk along the prom and needed some lunch, saw a sign directing us over the main road which took us to this lovely cafe. Unfortunately due to the C word it was take away only, we ordered 2 cream teas and in 2 secs we were back on the front on the nice new seating overlooking Mounts Bay. The scones were top class and in our take away boxes we had a knife and very generous pots of delicious strawberry jam and clotted cream. Well worth crossing the road for and everything looked delicious we were torn between the home made quiche and vegetable soup but as it was our last day chose the cream tea. If you’re in the area cross the road and support this lovely little shop, hopefully when we visit next year we can sit in but if not with views to die for who cares!

Ordered a box of 6 frozen standard steak (if you can call it that!) pasties online direct from Rowe's. They were so awful I couldn't eat the first one and the rest have gone in the bin. There was none of the usual pieces of steak. Instead was a bit of gristly mince of some kind. Nothing like they used to be. They were one my favourite Cornish steak pasty, not any more. Wasted £22.00. They don't even have the courtesy to reply to my email regaring the changed recipe. Save your money, buy elsewhere.

My niece asked to have dinner there and I was blown away by the food. The salad was so fresh and tasty and the pizza's were custom made exactly to our very specific specifications. Demi are waitress was excellent, engaging and energetic! Really terrific. Take cash to tip as you cannot add to the credit card.

Stayed here one night while walking SWCP with friends and dog. Decent rooms. Swimming pool, sauna and hot tub was nice bonus to relax in at the end of the day. Food decent. Breakfast self service, but decent. Service was fine. Overall pretty decent for what we needed. Dog friendly.
