We were having a walk along the prom and needed some lunch, saw a sign directing us over the main road which took us to this lovely cafe. Unfortunately due to the C word it was take away only, we ordered 2 cream teas and in 2 secs we were back on the front on the nice new seating overlooking Mounts Bay. The scones were top class and in our take away boxes we had a knife and very generous pots of delicious strawberry jam and clotted cream. Well worth crossing the road for and everything looked delicious we were torn between the home made quiche and vegetable soup but as it was our last day chose the cream tea. If you’re in the area cross the road and support this lovely little shop, hopefully when we visit next year we can sit in but if not with views to die for who cares!

Happened upon this place by chance, having seen a board out on the promenade. Huge selection of yummy ice cream flavours, served as a takeaway with a smile. Certainly put a smile on our faces on a hot day.

Their Cheese scones are amazing. Also Their home made dog biscuits. We have tried almost everything from here, breakfast rolls through to salad boxes and sandwiches. Everything is so fresh and homemade. I cannot rate them highly enough.

Stopped in for a quick take away sandwich whilst perusing Penzance. Lovely selection of sandwiches, pastries and cakes. Nice friendly service and a reasonable price. Fussy husband declared his salmon, cucumber with lemon & dill mayo on fresh thick granary bread the best sandwich he had ever eaten. Have to say my thick cut ham, cheddar & chilli jam was delicious too. Thank you for ensuring my teenage sons nut allergy was catered for, his sandwich was scoffed super quick so can only assume he enjoyed it The dog ice cream also went down well, very happy pooch.

This wonderful cafe is local to me, and I feel so lucky! Currently offering takeaways, everything I have tasted has been sooooo good! I particularly love the cheese and poppyseed scones with butter. They have recently started offering sundaes and cones, made with Mr B's ice-cream, which I had never heard of before. Just. Delicious! The friendly staff make any visit so pleasant, and the owner, Nikki, is often on site and baking away, serving customers and generally being brilliant !Many thanks for this fab local cafe.

Had a fabulous impromptu lunch today at Zebra Crossings. A smoked salmon sandwich with cucumber and lemon & dill mayo on such soft, fresh granary bread. Eaten while sat on Battery Rocks gazing out towards St Michael's Mount and Mounts Bay. Very friendly staff and great service. Highly recommended!

We went there for a breakfast. Friendly service, nice table and room. The poached eggs were over-cooked, the fried egg was under-cooked, We specifically asked for butter, but it was margarine or similar.

Situated close to the Penzance seafront and the famous Morrab Gardens, this is a lovely relaxing place to stop for a lunch or refreshments. Excellent coffee, friendly owner/staff. Well recommended. Just turn off the seafront into Morrab Road, and it is there by the zebra crossing in the former newsagent's shop. Reasonable prices too!

We lunched in here when staying at the excellent Woodstock Guest House a few doors away.Sites opposite the zebra crossing at the bottom of Morrab Road, they decided to run with the theme and have produced a very individual little cafe. Lots of zebras! Good, tasty, fresh homemade food and reasonably priced. Pleasant service, couldn’t fault any of it. Would go again.

Friendly staff waited a good 15 seconds after we had sat down before asking if we were ready to order. No egg or bread options offered. Haphazardly served on cold plates. Sausages overcooked, presumably Saturday then re heated. Tomatos undercooked, the rest luke warm.Below average experience

Delighted to find this small but perfectly formed haven for coffee, cake and so much more today. Dog friendly even with Little Mr Picky aka Scamp (offered one biscuit, then cheekily took a different one!), fresh water for him too. Just had a coffee this time which was great, but we will return for more! Many thanks.....

What i ideal spot for a café!!! Congratulations you guys.. i have called in the café for a quick stop off before heading in Penzance town on a few occasions now.. what a great place... i found it relaxing.. and the service was top class for such a young person, starting out on her own. The menu was diverse, and the cake selection was to die for. Not to mention the coffee ☕☕ which was so good i stayed for 2. Will definitely revisit again on my way past. Also a fantastic added bonus.. i was allowed to take in my new 3 month old puppy. Absolutely love it keep up the good work.

I popped into Zebra Crossings recently, for the first time in a few months. It seems to have changed hands or, at least, changed. Gone are the wonderful breakfast pancakes and delectable quiches and tarts. It's all very down-market and completely ordinary now. Such a shame as this was a favourite local spot. I don't think I'll be back.(I only wanted a take-away coffee, but it took two staff members AGES to make it for me.)

Zebra Crossings is a beautiful little café with amazing coffee, and service with a smile. The staff are very friendly and helpful, not to mention the range of cakes they have! Everything is reasonably priced, with most things being considerably cheaper than the large majority of surrounding cafés. All in all, really nice place to stop and relax. I would definitely recommend it.

Situated a stone's throw away from the Promenade, this little tucked away joint is a charming community hub. The custom mainly includes seasoned folk and random hikers from abroad. Do note that space is cramped, so if you're not a fan of sitting close to strangers I wouldn't recommend this venue as your ideal oasis 'far from the madding crowd'. And since the staff and seating are limited, expect a bit of a wait - even if you just want to nip in for a takeaway espresso: service is slow, yet homely, which is to be expected in a local family business on the outskirts of town. I'm glad this place is not a chain - it exudes charm, as I said, but one must come prepared for cramped quirkiness (an advantageous quality when in the right mood). Zebra Crossings' foremost attractions are its fine and flavoursome cakes and quiches, whose prices lean toward the upper scale, strategically deterring the riffraff. All told, it's a pleasant find and the only decent coffee house for hundreds of metres.

Absolutely wonderful visit. The cream tea was the best I think I’ve ever had. Warm scones, huge pot of cream and delicious jam, must be homemade. The tea was piping hot and came with an additional tea bag should you like it strong.

Absolutely amazing day spent at The Sharksfin for our daughter's wedding last Saturday. Wow! What a venue! From start to finish everything was wonderful. Great service with happy staff who were enjoying looking after us and wanted to make the day special. The canapes were gorgeous and main meal truly excellent. The Chefs worked their socks off. Would highly recommend. Thank you to Lisa and her whole team. You were fantastic! We will be back for a roast very soon 🙂!

Poor service and virtually no vegan/vegetarian options. Asked for a veggie burger which was on the menu, they didn't have any. Asked what else was vegan, they didn't know. Service was very slow and all front of house seemed uninterested and more keen to huddle round the bar chatting. One waitress was particularly rude, I wouldn't go there again and wouldn't recommend. Lots of much friendlier places in Falmouth.
