A lovely dinner out with my daughter this evening. The food was outstanding, we ordered fish and seafood, all cooked to perfection, the seasoning was spot on. Good menu choices and we we're spoilt with an amazing specials board too! Service was friendly and professional, they delivered a dining experience. Would definitely recommend! Thank you CCC!

We were staying opposite, in a chalet bungalow, Went to the club for dinner and we were seated at a table with a view of the Cape and ocean a terrific view, had surf and turf which I have to say was the best I've ever had, beautiful fillet steak done to perfection plus half a lobster which the chef kindly de-shelled for us, with salad and skin on french fries with crispy coating as a side, the salad dressing once again just made the meal , We were going to get the recipe for the salad dressing as it was that good , But sadly forgot to , With good ale and fine wine , Don't expect cheap prices as you pay for quality, which we got in shed loads, So compliments to the chef and staff who were superb, we will certainly go again, Mike and Karen Roberts PS, if they turn the music down

I enjoyed a beautiful meal in this place, I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s super romantic Restaurant as it does form part of a golf club,,,, however the location is stunning…. Food was top class…, extremely tasty. New chef is obviously very promising.

Our group of 3 we attracted to the online "Set Menu" but were told on arrival that it was only available for larger groups. The lady also claimed that this was evident on the web site - which it is not! Ok, we were therfore stuck with basicaly a burgers or pizzas menu (or to go elsewhwhere) and the rather grumpy service no doubt due to her false set menu claim and the obvious preference given to club members for service. The meal we had was plentiful and rather ordinary.

We stayed the night, but also had dinner and breakfast here. The member of staff at the reception desk was offhand to both of us, separately. He needs to consider the unwelcoming impression he gives as guests arrive or ask for assistance. The room was clean and comfortable, but the windows faced directly onto the stairway, with guests noisily walking up and down and easily looking into the room. This meant we had to leave the blinds and windows closed for the whole stay. It was a comparatively expensive place to stay, so this was a disappointment. Dinner, however, was really excellent and we would definitely recommend, though the dining room felt more like a staff canteen. The whole place had a feel of a work in progress and not a relaxing place to stay. The location is wonderful.

There is a saying in the restaurant business that the quality of a restaurant is the inverse to the quality of its view. A place with a good view will trade on the view. Cape Cornwall Club dining breaks this rule, the food is genuinely good; the view is spectacular too. It's a shame about the rest. The tables are bare, the interior bland and poor (the home-made, exposed bracket, crooked and empty shelves behind our table looked like something from a storage cupboard). The staff are friendly and try hard but aren't up to the menu or prices: 'could you explain the cheeses please?', 'Oh, they're cheese, I don't know what type'. The food is good. Everything was fizzing with taste, portions well judged, the fish was stunning: fresh, tasty, moist, cooked to perfection. We opted for the Cornish wine to support the local economy but also as a bit of an experiment and joke. We were stunned. It was light, crisp, refreshing and complimented the fish perfectly. It disappeared in double quick time. Highly recommended. For this price point, to honour this quality of food, to live up to the view and fine-dining aspirations the experience needs a more comfortable interior, table linen, and more polished service.

After reading the website( Michelin starred chef) we booked for lunch. The meal was served eventually an hour after we arrived and we simply had to leave. The Mushroom linguini(£14) was a tiny dollop of congealed, microwaved goop and the medium rare steak(£21) was cooked to leather but cold. We shan't be returning. We were unable to eat it and left paying only for a coffee which we had during the long wait

We were forced to stay here when our flight to Scilly was cancelled. What a bonus that proved to be. When we booked our room we were offered the chance to have a table at their 7 course Italian dinner that night. This seemed to good an opportunity to miss and we were not disappointed. All seven courses were excellent. The only criticism would be the wine pairing options, if this is on offer then it must be by the glass you can’t expect a table for 2 to drink a bottle with each course! Something to improve on but no criticism of the food.

Very nice hotel room although the shower in our room was a bit lethal, thermostat wasn't working properly so be careful! Perfect location, walk down to the sea and climb up to the old chimney on the cliff. Food in the restaurant was excellent, we had fantastic fresh whole roasted mackerel for dinner. Terrace outside the clubhouse is excellent for watching amazing sunset with a glass of something chilled!!!

We love sitting in our car in the carpark to watch the sea while we eat our chips from St.Just, it's been a while and we usually go when the English Heratige booth is closed so usually out of season or late in the evening. The sunsets in Cornwall are second to none and if you walk up to the top of the hill to the chimney the panorama is epic.

This is a truly wonderful spot at near the westernmost part of Cornwall, not far from delightful St Just. It is a bit of a walk up the hill to the old chimney from the mine, and the "easy" walk is not that easy for old joints! Well worth the effort, great views.

This is a wonderful headland and cove to enjoy, but it can be windy! There is adequate car parking but to get here one needs to drive carefully out of St Just on a narrow lane: not all oncoming traffic is courteous (as we found with one oldish man in his Jaguar). In the car park there is a little snack room (whose name I cannot recall - sorry) Service was brisk, polite and courteous.

This place gives the truest feeling about what Cornwall is all about. Rugged beauty, let's hope it stays this way and does not get developed. Small shed in the NT car park selling drinks, ice cream etc, and that's it. Good walks either wY and wildlife if you keep your eyes open. Saw a seal swimming around close in off the point.

A special place foe peace and quiet and exquisite views ot to The Bristons. Priests Cove is a working Fisherman’s harbour with colourful small boats moored amongst many lobster pots. There are fisherman’s huts with benches outside to sit on and admire the view. In the rocks down below is a m’man made’ swimming pool that is civered at full tide. To the right is a steep hill with The Heinz Monument on the top. It was once a mining area also. There is a large National Trust car park, toilets and a cafe. You can walk over the headland, South to Cot Valley which is also very beautiful. We were at Priest Cove the last week in February. It was cloudless with wild seas which were spectacular.

Went there for a day out. The view is spectacular. Went to the top of the cape. I think a moving walkway would add to the experience. The view at the top was amazing. The only downside was this big rock about a mile away. Totally ruined the view of the sunset. If they could move it to the right by about 20 feet it would be perfect.

We stayed in a first floor converted barn apartment overlooking the golf course and Cape Cornwall. Beware, the road down to the National Trust car park is very narrow, barely enough room for two cars to pass so take it easy. There are some great views to be taken in,along with some walking along the southwest coast path in either direction.

Parked in the National Trust car park and this is free for members. Nice young lady looking after it and a very pleasant personality. Walked up to the monument and would advise just to take a little bit of care. Our dog also enjoyed the walk and the views from the top were stunning. Pop up cafe is open at weekends in the car park and toilets are available.careful when driving down to the Cape as single lane. No problems if you take care and show a bit of consideration to other road users and walkers. Highly recommend

We came here to see the remains of the tin mine, and our visit turned out to be more about the cape itself. There are great walking tracks all over it, and up to the chimney. The car park has a stunning outlook, and it’s a great place for a picnic. There’s a little cove down below, which we didn’t go to, but we saw others there - and of course the usual numbers of keen walkers all over the clifftops along the coastal tracks. You can see the ruins of other adjacent mine sites from here.
