Willy Wallers ice cream parlour in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

This ice cream parlour is situated opposite the bus station but has views over the coast from the tables outside. They do a range of flavours and are all reasonably priced. The service is efficient and friendly and well worth a visit.

Been coming here over 15 years but will not come back. The prices are ridiculous now . £5.00 for a 2 scoop cone. I have a family of 5 and I am not spending 25 quid on 5 ice creams . I understand the growing cost in food prices but that’s a joke. Go to Iceland’s next door and get a 6 pack for a couple quid.

Brown haired girl wouldn’t serve us, we stood at the counter for over 30 minutes and she was ignoring us with her airpods in, refusing to come up and serve us some ice cream,

We stopped by this ice cream parlour during our visit to penzance and we weren’t disappointed! I went for the fudge ice cream and my partner had the caramel and they were delicious, would definitely return!

I ordered an “Easter egg” ice cream containing mini eggs and “Cadbury’s cream eggs”. However, although I received mini eggs on the top, inside my ice cream was only non-descript, bland, definitely not Cadbury’s chocolate, let alone cream egg, and lumps off ice. Poor offering

This place sells all sorts of different flavoured ice creams. I had the chocolate ice cream which was really nice. The staff was friendly. I recommend this to everyone.

Funky little ice cream shop in Penzance. Good choice of flavours shame it’s by the main road but that didn’t stop us enjoying our ice cream.

Excellent ice cream, clearly displayed on the board what ice creams were gluten free and dairy free which I thought was excellent. Then when I went inside noticed that they sold gluten free cones! I've been coeliac all my life and I have never found anywhere that sold gluten free cones...would recommend they advertise that more!

Whenever my daughter comes home to Cornwall we have to visit Willy Wallers for an ice cream. It's tradition, at any time of year!

It is probably hard to go wrong with ice cream in this part of the world. There were 32 flavours of ice cream to choose from as well as sundaes, milk shakes and smoothies

Yesterday me and my family went to our usual ice cream parlour willy wallers and as usual it was lovely ice cream and amazing service. They have a plethora of different flavours and there’s something for all the family with milkshakes and waffles also on the menu so if your in the area go and check it out.

A wonderful ice cream shop with many flavors and options to choose from. The flavors has a strong taste and the sizes were very generous. The staff were nice but didn't seem overly happy to be there.

One of the best ice creams I have had excluding gelato! So many flavours, huge scoops and very reasonable price. Toffee and honeycomb was lovely and creamy. Served in tubes or a variety of waffle cones. Seating outside too! Recommended.

Not short of choices for an ice cream in Penzance This is our second visit this week for coffee and an ice cream in the evening Cream tea ice cream - what’s not to like !

32 different flavours to choose from and good sized servings-we went everyday for a week (daily ice creams on holiday is the rules!) so tried lots of flavours. All delicious, but can recommend the lemon meringue and the orange & mascarpone. Staff all friendly and polite, great location by harbour, fantastic place to visit

Went to the shop in Penzance, over 32 flavours to choose from & well over 20 of the gluten free (suitable for Coeliac husband).Variety on flavours galore, kind & polite staff & has gluten free cones. Well worth visiting & better than others in area

This is a great little ice cream parlour with lots of flavours to choose from , whether you like plain vanilla or a rum and rasin , there's a flavour to suit all with an option of a 1 to 3 scoop cone or a tub with optional extras. This is the third time my family and I have visited this lovely ice cream parlour, receiving the same 5 star customer service each time. I would definitely recommend visiting.

My first trip to Penzance and I had to have an ice cream with my family. My daughter loved it because they served Vegan ice cream and gluten free cone. She had a mango ice cream. I had cookies and cream and my wife had a Rolo ice cream. This was truly wonderful. Thank you.

The range of flavours here is outstanding, and rather than being a diluted attempt at something, you will find that you will get a taste sensation on every choice. I'm a local and this is the ONLY ice cream I will eat, kids will love it, you will love it, so glad they are in my home town!Really well priced, staff are really friendly, it's easy to access and has a few seats outside

One of the best ice-cream places in Cornwall. I had a scoop of mint and one of rum and raisin. Thick and creamy with a choice of toppings - lush!

The chocolate sundae was great, but special thanks to the young girl who went out of her way to cater for the needs of my ageing mum. You were a star!

First time we have tried this ice cream parlour - And we loved it. The individual tastes of rhubarb and other flavours were really good. The guy running the place was really helpful and friendly. Will definitely revisit when next in Penzance.

The ice cream is delicious and comes in a variety of flavours. For a family of 4 you are looking at around £14 for 4 double scoops ( 2 each) well we were on holiday..

Funky looking shop attracted us as we drove past. I wanted a nice Cornish ice cream parlour that wasn't part of a franchise - just locally made with local produce. My 3 children loved the 'flavour selector' spinner on the shop door and enjoyed picking from unusual flavours. I was in heaven with my chocolate cone topped with Cornish clotted cream but was devastated that I didn't notice the Bailey's crunch before choosing!! We enjoyed the 'squeezing room' and 'inventing room' quirky signs and felt like this little shop offered more than most, when it came to experience. £9.50 for 5 delicious ice creams? Can't grumble at that!

Really love this ice cream shop. Took a party of 14 Brownies and leaders here. The ice cream was scrumptious and was enjoyed by us all.

A must if you visit Penzance. Friendly staff and very clean. Plenty of flavours to choose from and type of cone you want. I had Ferrero Roche with a chocolate dipped waffle cone and it was delicious.

Decided whilst shopping in Penzance on a sunny day that we needed an ice cream and head to Willy Wallers as we had driven past it earlier. The amount of choice was amazing and we found it hard to choose which of the 32 varieties to have. Whilst there were the usual standard flavours there were also plenty of interesting & different flavours. Cost wise I think that considering it is pretty much on the seafront of a popular Cornish town I think it was very reasonable. Will definitely revisit.

Visited today, located in a very picturesque part of Penzance. Ice cream was nice but pretty average, and the flavours didn't really taste what they were labelled as. More ice, than cream I found. I wasn't too impressed that the chap who served us was smoking, then served us and continued smoking without washing his hands... Nice to say I've been but would try somewhere else next time. Mr B's in Hayle is much better.

This ice cream parlour has all different flavoured ice creams + will make any of them into a milkshake. I went for the mint choc chip and it was the best milkshake I have ever had.

I'm no fan of ice cream but the rest of the family are. That being said, I was very impressed with the wide range of ice cream on offer! It took some time for everyone to decide... If everyone was as slow as us the queue would be horrendous! (Apologies to those behind us!)We sat outside on the few tables and chairs offered. There's probably half a dozen, but I didn't consciously count them. You can sit & people watch from here. The sun dips away creating shade from about 3.30pm during late August but is full sun most of the day as south facing.A great spot for family ice creams and reasonably priced too.

Got voted the best in the west by the telegraph. We have been there several times a week. Lots of choice , always of the highest quality. Excellent staff and a very high quality products . LOVE IT. ☺

Visited Willy Wallers Ice cream parlour on a hot sunny afternoon. Excellent choice of flavours, in fact to be honest there's too many flavours to choose from! What's also nice is that you can sit outside the premises and eat your ice cream. Only complaint I have is that with only one person serving we had to queue for a while.

We visited Willy Wallers ice cream parlour during a family holiday in Cornwall. We were looking for somewhere for the kids to get dessert. My daughter cannot eat dairy, and I asked in Willy Wallers whether they had anything dairy free we were delighted that they had chocolate sorbet, and dairy free cones! This meant I was able to buy an ice cream in a cone for all three of my children, something my daughter usually misses out on. She was so happy, the highlight of her holiday! The staff were really helpful, and we all enjoyed our ice creams, although it took the rest of us a long time to decide between flavours. I tried the chocolate sorbet and it was delicious. I also recommend the Cornish Cream Tea flavour!

The range of flavours is truly impressive and some are not what you expect from locally produced ice cream. At the time of visiting two very generous scoops in a waffle cone cost £3 which seemed very reasonable. I had Rolo plus Ferrero Rocher - excellent.

Too many flavours, not enough time! Try the Turkish Delight Ice Cream - num num num! . Only downside is that the children will take ages trying to decide.....will it be the mango sorbet, the jaffacake ice cream, the blueberry, the badger?...decisions decisions...
