I was really surprised that this place is 100% serving halal food. Lovely place and lovely food. Highly recommended and will definitely come back.

What's happened? Used to be excellent. Soggy chicken balls, chewy undercooked lamb and limp prawn crackers. Won't return.

Decent boozer, close to Sydney Gardens, with choice of ales and ciders and some comfy furniture for those who prefer sofas as well as more conventional tables and chairs. Decorated with antique advertising posters.

Great Pub night. Small but perfect, staff are very friendly, traditional old English Pub. Wonderful night talking to other patrons, genuine people.

Visitamos el domingo 4 de mayo para una celebración familiar de dos cumpleaños especiales, la mesa se reservó con un par de meses de antelación. El servicio era muy lento, y la comida era muy decepcionante mucho si que era frío o muy pequeño debido a la falta de varios elementos que figuran en el menú. Hemos visitado este pub de forma muy regular a lo largo de varios años, ya que vivimos en la localidad, pero nunca recibimos comida y servicio tan decepcionante. Solo nos avisaron unos días antes de que el pub cerraría ese día por remodelación, que era demasiado tarde para volver a reservar en cualquier otro lugar. Esto sin duda nos ha pospuesto la visita a este pub que es una pena 🤨

Rooms are luxurious and ambience is very nice

Well I have stopped buying curries from the high street, every time I dine at the Ivy I have been ordering the Curry, simple the best around, full of flavour, with depth just the right amount of Rice, and more importantly not ridiculously hot like the high street curries who do it to mask the blandness and taste.....just give it a try you will not be disappointed

Large brunch menu prepared with fresh ingredients. Best meal I had on my holiday. On the bus line from the city centre. Ambiance was comfortable and relaxing.

Tenía un vale para una hamburguesa y una cerveza. Trató de reservar la mesa a través de la aplicación de vales, pero dijeron que tardarían 48 horas en responder. Llamé al restaurante de todos modos y se confirmó que necesitábamos reservar a través de la compañía de vales. Les explicamos que solo estuvimos allí un día, así que decidieron honrarlo. The food took over an hour to arrive and was cold when it arrived

A busy, welcoming place where we had a great lunch. Our server, Mike, asked if any of us have any allergies. I do, and Mike really took huge care with my order. He vetoed my first choice, based on his own knowledge of the ingredients. He was certain that my second choice, and my choice of a side dish, would be okay but even so he went back & forth to the kitchen to consult with the chef. My meal came with allergen flags so I was reassured that I wouldn’t get any nasty surprises! All 3 of us enjoyed our food, really tasty and hot. We’ll eat here again. Thank you.

We have just spent three nights at the riverside inn and can’t fault it at all. Our room was spotless every day. The staff were extremely friendly even when we forgot to order our breakfast the night before. Not a problem. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you Riverside. Mike and Juliet
