In the last 13 years that I have been living in the UK I have never experienced such an embarrassing, disappointing and discriminating situation until the day I visited this pub. We ordered food and some drinks from a lady called Fliss who is the sub manager, as she came to our table to serve us our drinks she approached my friend and requested her ID (which is fine), my friend happily provided her Brazilian ID to her (she didn’t have her passport with her) then she reply in a very rude and aggressive way that she did not accept a Brazilian ID as is not part of the UK and it was the pub regulation. They failed to provide me with a better explanation and to show the pub’s policy. I also sent them an email and I still haven’t got a reply. If this policy is under their contract (As Fliss mentioned) why they are taking so long to reply ? Now I ask myself, does she act that way with all other tourists? Can she only serve drinks to a British person? Extremely disrespectful and disgusting, she didn’t serve because she discriminated us. Will NEVER come back to this pub again.

Had a lovely few drinks here. Great selection of beers on tap and also cocktails. Really wanted a coconut margarita but was told by Lottie (bartender) I couldn’t have it, only a regular marg. Until Lottie was about to strain and pour my drink, she asked if I wanted coconut syrup in the marg…. Errrr yes please! Thanks to Lottie for thinking on the spot with that. It was delicious!

The service, food, cleanliness and cocktails are on point. Always a perfect experience everytime we visit. The atmosphere is always very relaxing and welcoming.

I booked a Premium Buffett for a large Hen Group and asked for a space. They made up a very nice area for us. The food was served promptly and was delicious. Very nice selection. There was plenty and even leftovers. Staff very efficient and friendly. A pleasant experience, thank you.

As usual we enjoyed all elements of our visit. Unusually, we were there on a Saturday and it was much busier than we are used to. This didn't affect the length of time we waited for either our drinks or food. Everything was provided promptly and very efficiently. The staff, as always, were attentive, efficient and friendly. The food was tasty and exactly as described in the menu and well presented. It, almost, goes without saying that we will revisit.

The staff were really quiet but helpful whenever needed. Joshua was really helpful and was happy to answer any questions that we had🙂

Average, identikit bar you could find in any city. Full of the usual idiot clientele that crowd the bar, talk too loudly, and generally make the place unpleasant. Staff need to learn how to serve in order, as was ignored for some time while others served first. There are many better places, so don’t fall into the trap I did and end up somewhere ‘recognisable’. Go elsewhere.

Excellent value and lovely food with four small plates and a bottle of wine. Well worth a visit. Staff very helpful too.

This is our second visit to this venue, but the first time with particular friends. Sadly the experience did not reflect our previous visit. As the venue was busy, I decided to use the app and scanned the barcode to order. What isn't clear, is that you are automatically charged a tip. Correct me if I'm wrong, but surely you should only give a tip if you believe the service you have been provided with is worth it! As it was, the two young individuals who served us; one of which was new, were very pleasant and attentive. They certainly do not reflect the 'poor' grading of this review. The food was fine, albeit lukewarm by the time you receive condiments! The drinks are very overpriced, especially the wine. And most disappointing was being asked, quite abruptly, by the host to leave the table; one that I had booked for two hours! We were only an hour in to our time there. When questioned, he retorted very rudely! After, at this point, spending £153, to be treated in this manner was the proverbial nail. We will not be advocating a return to any and as for us, we'll spend our money elsewhere

On our recent visit to Bath we needed a place to rest in between tours and evening meals. My daughter was a little hesitant as her experience in other All Bar One restaurants in other locations had put her off. However, we both agree that we must praise this particular All Bar One restaurant. The staff are lovely, attentive but not imposing. We had lunch one day and the choice we chose was excellent - Halloumi Fries, Calamari and Hummus - beautifully cooked and vibrant. Great service and a really lovely atmosphere - highly recommend this place.
