Fantastic Accidental visit, So this isn’t my first visit to the cafe and although always great I’m usually wrestling my toddler so rarely have time to fully enjoy! However having driven straight past my driveway this morning and finding myself turning around in the turning I thought why not grab breakfast! So I opted for the eggs benny and a vanilla latte , the service was professional and polite and the coffee arrived quickly, Then the “benny” arrived which is a take and improvement on the classic eggs Benedict, the presentation was clean, appetising and extremely appealing, the quality of the produce was clear from the very second I cut into the first of two poached eggs the stunning vibrant yolk was a delight the whole meal ate fantastically and left me genuinely considering ordering a second helping, So good was it I rang a friend merely to tell them how happy I was. I have worked as a chef now for 20 years in a vast array of fine dining settings and currently specialise in freelancing and consultancy and cannot explain how happy and contented I was leaving with a happy belly and a smile on my face. Will be back soon.

We had an amazing dinner last night at Corkage in Bath. The food was delicious, cooked with care and quality by a chef that knows what he is doing and the wine was truly amazing. The staff was knowledgeable and made a great experience for us, if you are around Bath is a must try.

We visited The Architect last Sunday based on a recommendation for their Sunday roast. Despite arriving around 2:30 pm, the friendly manager managed to find us a table without a reservation. As my sister is celiac, we informed the staff beforehand, and they were very helpful in accommodating her dietary needs. She had a wide range of gluten-free options, and both of us thoroughly enjoyed delicious Sunday roasts (chicken and lamb). The staff were friendly, attentive, and made our dining experience truly enjoyable. We would highly recommend it and can't wait to return! Thank you - Gracias! Two happy customers :)

Up for a couple of days from London and this is the best Indian food I have tasted since the long lamented New Bengal in Paddington's demise. The Tandoori Chicken Massalah was the best. The Chicken Chanai was hot, but not burning and the taste was excellent. Served with Garlic naans and plain rice with a Dosa for starter and Popadums with a selection of chutneys delivered early all added to the experience. The waiter who took the order and also delivered it was friendly, helpful and even offered to bring yoghurt should the Chicken Chanai prove to be hotter than comfortable. It was no necessary, but a nice gesture. The restaurant itself is clean and stylish with a relaxed atmosphere. Great restaurant.

If I could get 0 I would. Ordered food (I use the term loosely) which came out before the drinks. Just my food, not my partners. We had to then ask for the drinks. And finally, their food came out sometime after. The food came out, absolutely dripping in fat. Presentation awful. Could only eat one mouthful. Very cheap ingredients used. Clearly, don’t know the difference between prosciutto ham and cheap 99p supermarket ham. Not sure what the restaurants like upstairs, but if you consider eating in the café downstairs, carry on walking.
