Ben's Cookies in Bath and North East Somerset

They have so many exciting flavours but I guess not according to my taste...

If you visit Bath it is a MUST!! It's a small shop on an inner street but the cookies are really amazing and don't taste like the ones at their other shop in London. There are even times when you can catch them freshly baked and warm. I wouldn't know which one to choose when trying one, they are all very delicious and they have little cans so you can carry them very cute.

Ordered a small Ben’s box of cookies costing £11.50, you get 7 cookies for that price. White chocolate is my absolute favourite followed by the oatmeal and raisin. Also tried the ginger cookies this visit, the size of the bits of ginger are outstanding. Two of any of Ben’s cookies made into a cookie sandwich is a fantastic idea. Love being able to see the cookies being baked while ordering.

These cookies are amazing. Definitely coming back.

I bought a couple of the white Chocolate macadamia nut cookies which are my favourite but these were the best cookies I’ve ever had in my life 10/10 if you’re in bath go here

I visited yesterday, and was honestly beyond appalled. I went in asking for milk chocolate cookies (wanted a box of 7) they only had 2 out, asked if there were anymore- the lady said there was another tray but that she wouldn’t sell me anymore??? I bought the 2 cookies very disappointed and as I walked out of the store the store workers started laughing and joking about how I was so ‘pissed off’ I was shocked to say the least. I turned round and went back in and advised the girls that it was highly unprofessional to laugh at a customer. Nobody seemed bothered. Cannot believe how disgusting I was treated.

Very good cookies, on the other hand the welcome needs to be reviewed, three people in the deserted store we greet them and only one answers us, no one responds to our "goodbye and have a good day", politeness doesn't hurt !

Ben’s Cookies in Bath used to be a lovely place to drop in and grab a tasty cookie and coffee. I called in this week only to discover the tables are all gone…. so……. Cookies are still great but takeaway only……… and tbh the takeaway coffee was mediocre. The new owner has spoilt what used to be a lovely place to drop in to……. It’s just not the same.

Stumbling upon this cookie haven during a casual stroll in Bath was a fortunate accident for me!! The lengthy queue convinced me to join, and it was the perfect choice! The cookies, especially the triple chocolate ones, are incredibly delicious. I make it a point to visit every time I'm in Bath.

Cute little cookie shop with a nice choice of cookies. They even do vegan cookies, well one type of vegan cookie. Chocolate chip/chuck. They are delicious, and it was a welcome surprise to find vegan cookies that tasted that good.

Fancied something sweet while wandering town so popped into Ben's Cookies, was empty when I went in, so no waiting, which is always good. A good selection of flavours, I went for chocolate Chunk at £2.20. Service was average, functional at best. Cookie was fine.

As far a a cookie chain, you know what you get with Ben’s cookies. Lovely and soft. Good variety of items. Prices have gone up quiet abit.

Good cookie, good ice cream. Extremely rude staff. Ginger cookie and honeycomb ice cream was a nice paying. So sad we left feeling as like the two female workers went out of their way to be rude (???)

Ben's Cookies are actually the nicest cookies I've had anywhere! Not cheap but worth the cost. The Oxford branch is my favourite one.

Been here twice recently, staff always friendly. Myself and my partner have tried a couple cookies, we preferred the milk chocolate to white chocolate cookie. Just our preference, but really good and taste delicious. They are on the pricier side I will say, hence why we’ve only got the one cookie to share, however for a treat I would recommend.

I recently visited Ben's Cookies in Bath and while the cookies were great, I found some aspects of my experience to be disappointing. Firstly, the prices were quite high, especially for the level of service that we received. The staff seemed more interested in their social lives than the customers or running the business at the time of our visit. That being said, the cookies themselves were incredibly tasty. We opted for the yesterday's box as it was better value for money, and we were not disappointed. The variety of flavors available was impressive, and each cookie was freshly baked and delicious. Overall, I would give Ben's Cookies in Bath a three-star rating. While the cookies were fantastic, the high prices and lack of attentive service left something to be desired. If you're looking for a quick and tasty snack, then Ben's Cookies is worth a visit, but don't expect to be blown away by the overall experience.

I'm in a Starbucks and eating one of their cookies. They aren't bad, but they are expensive compared to Ben's Cookies. It has been years since I haven't eaten one of these, but I still clearly remember the flavor, the taste, and the delicacies of Ben's Cookies. They are simply the best in the world, and Ben's cookies are a secret heaven. Go and understand the absolute superiority. Love ya Ben... Cya soon.

Very nice cookies. Was overcharged for our order but when we went back in they dealt with this swiftly and refunded us.

Cookie was yummy but they charged me for more than I purchased and didn’t realise until after I’d left. Disappointing service.

The cookies smell better than they taste and clearly the staff do not want to be there either.

Purchased two cookies upon recommendation from a friend and I was shocked to see that both cookies were completely raw inside when I went to eat them, despite leaving them to rest beforehand. The cookies were so soggy and raw that I could no even hold the cookie in my hand. Never again.

I was visiting the area for the day. After exploring and shopping I wanted something sweet for the road. I didn't have to search for long. The smell of toasted coconut caught my attention and I was in. It was a hard decsion they all looked so yummy! I decided on the coconut, chocolate chip & cookie butter. They were all very good, wish I had bought a few more.

A must visit if you like cookies. Been here several times and never disappointed.

First time ever in Bath today. Made a post on Facebook and a friend recommended Bens Cookies and I had to come and find the shop! Wasn't dissapointed. The cookies are so fresh and they're so soft and really flavourful. Also the staff in the store are really nice. Come to think of it, I've realised I've never really had a cookie that wasn't store bought and pre-made in advance. This has changed everything! It's such a shame I live all the way in Cardiff. I'll be back!

Tucked away in the side streets easy to navigate to using your GPS mapping software. This place is producing awesome cookies. Our only regret was we chose 7 for the price of 5 when 15 for the cost of 10 was the way forward! We don't always go for gooey squidgy cookies preferring biscuits to have a bite to them but these were splendid, great selection and value.

Don't buy a box of "Yesterday's cookies"! They put the dud cookies with nothing in them in these boxes. We had two of them.

Revisiting this place was fab! Haven’t been in such a long time so it was a must. Great service and good choice of cookies. Only down side was the prices have gone up since we last came.

My Brazilian flatmate recommended this cookie franchise to me the day before my day trip to Bath. Boy was I glad I bought a Ben's box - 7 cookies. These cookies are AMAZING. A bit on the sweet side though, but the chocolate chunks taste so good in these chewy & crispy cookies. They're huge too! Would definitely buy them again.

Never been but herd great things about bens cookies so were super excited to try them. Sadly we’re a-little under welled, the milkshake was disappointing we ordered cookie dough but tasted and looked like just milk, more like a vanilla milkshake in all honesty. As well as this we felt rushed, like they just wanted to make a quick sale ( it wasn’t busy) and there was a lack of help with decision making considering as we haven’t been before. However cookie was perfect couldn’t of asked for a better cookie, just was let down by the others factors sadly.

Looking for a ‘pick me up’ for a family member who’d spent the summer revising we picked up a box of 8, which included some freebies. The cookies are first rate. Their Covid precautions reassuring. Our son smiled for the first time in weeks - great value!

Once again we visited Bens Cookies, ins hidden down one of the narrow alleys through Bath City Centre. It's become one of those places where whenever we visit Bath, we HAVE to stop off and get some! Can't fault it.

Lovely little place tucked away in Bath. With an impressive choice of flavours and melt in your mouth taste, I think anyone with a sweet tooth should give these cookies a try! Service was really good and although the shop wasn't too big, they served quickly to ensure it didn't get too packed. It's also worth saying that you can see the cookies being freshly made behind the counter. The smell is something else!

I absolutely love bens cookies, my boyfriend and I come to bens very often for their delicious treats, however; today I went in and the customer service wasn’t good at all. This can be forgiven as everyone has bad days but I asked for cookie dough ice cream, when the lady gave me my ice cream it was brownie flavoured. I asked ‘what flavour is this’ as I was pretty sure it wasn’t and she said it was cookie dough and walked away. She lied, it wasn’t the flavour I asked for and I was left with something I had payed for but didn’t want. Ended up throwing it away. Nothing against the products, they are amazing but I’d appreciate getting the right product, especially after I’ve made the effort and double checked.

Great range of freshly baked cookies and there are new varieties now and then. There are also local ice creams and hot drinks available too. Slightly off the beaten track so if you want to escape the crowds then try here.

Delicious melt in the mouth chewy cookies in a variety of flavours. Quite pricy for a cookie but they are really good and I haven't managed to make them at home quite like these. £8.5 for 7. If you are a bit of a cookie monster like me, what are you waiting for.

Honestly the best cookies I've ever had, warm, slight crunch on the outside with a soft gooey centre and melted chocolate. My partner didn't believe me until he tried one and we ended up taking boxes home! They don't seem to have many around anymore so stock up of you aren't local to bath!

Hace años, tuve una galleta de nuez de macadamia con chocolate blanco de Ben's en Dubai. Fue excelente. Tenía muchas nueces de macadamia tostadas crujientes y sabrosas.Luego tuve el mismo tipo de cookie en Singapur hace algunos años. Solo había 2 nueces. En los últimos 2 años, solo había 1 tuerca. : (Este mes probé las galletas de Ben en Malls of Emirates (Dubai). La galleta de nuez de macadamia y chocolate blanco seguía siendo bastante buena. Las nueces son menores. Luego fui al Dubai Mall para probar las galletas de Ben allí. La galleta de nuez de macadamia de chocolate blanco tenía solo 1 nuez.Parece que el estándar ha disminuido (?)A este ritmo, me destetaré de las Cookies de Ben muy rápidamente.Espero que las galletas de Ben lo investiguen y pongan más nueces de macadamia en las galletas.

O M G ! Now fellas these are what we call COOKIES ! Beware, can become addictive! Old fashioned flavors, fresh from oven warm and delicious! Had more than I should but convinced myself they were calorie free !!Must have been a sugar or cocoa high ! Live dangerously and have the dark chocolate chunks. Or the peanut butter! Mmm. Enough said, try em !! Also awesome gelato just to round it off nicely, ice cream and cookies, what’s not to love ??

I was a bit sceptical at first when I realised how expensive the cookies were, however after trying the 'Milk Chocolate' cookie, my mind was blown. Ate it in seconds. Worth it if you're after something warm and tasty.

Todos teníamos sabores diferentes y todos estuvimos de acuerdo en que nuestras galletas eran las mejores que habíamos probado. El primer bocado literalmente me hizo agua la boca. Simplemente hermoso. Tengo un viaje a Bath reservado en diciembre y una visita (o quizás 3) a Ben's Cookies está ahora firmemente en la lista.

These cookies are probably some of the best I've ever eaten, they always have a great selection available especially if you visit before the end of the day. Whilst the staff can sort of jump on you when you walk in they are friendly enough. Cookies are on the slightly more expensive side. You can sit inside if you would like to, but the Abbey is just around the corner so it much nicer to sit outside there. I would recommend!

Stumbled across this place while aimlessly wandering the streets of Bath. I’d seen it on Trip Advisor so when I saw the sign I turned to my girlfriend and said we’re going in. It’s not a big place, but plenty big enough to see their full range of cookies and gelato. You can also watch fresh batches of cookies being made which was lovely. I had a box of 5 with 2 free. 7 cookies is more than enough for a couple as they’re very filling but incredibly delicious. Probably the best I’ve had. Better than Millie’s cookies by a country mile, they taste almost cakey and not at all greasy. We topped off our order with gelato milkshakes which is where things got a little odd. We both asked for honeycomb gelato but were informed by a member of staff that this would just taste of vanilla in a milkshake and that other flavours were better. I changed my order to mint choc and my girlfriend asked for the salted caramel one only to be told this also tasted of vanilla, we couldn’t tell if she was trying to be helpful or just trying to save those flavours for herself but it was almost off putting. My girlfriend insisted (in a nice way) that she was happy to have a honeycomb one and it turned out both were lovely. Definitely worth a trip if you fancy a treat. They do nice gift tins as well to take home.

I came here whilst visiting bath for the day and yes they're a little more expensive than the average cookies, but there is a reason for that, because they're better than the average cookie.

Ben’s Cookies is a Bath gem. Gorgeous cookies in a huge variety of flavours. Meant to be gooey and delicious, can’t be beaten! Try the milk chocolate praline!

Expensive but worth the money. Can get better value if you choose the 7 for the price of 5 cookie. The cookies themselves are quite big so you are sure to get a soft chewy centre no matter which cookie you choose.

My wife and myself came across this place. Looking to sit outside but in the shade it was good to escape the heat of the sun. Very pleasant young lady to serve although her accent was a little difficult to understand. Possibly East European. The cookies and mugs of tea were delicious. Will go there again when in Bath.

A mediocre selection, poorly displayed and described. The cookies themselves are relatively expensive, and some seemed a little less than cooked if truth be told. Maybe you'll have better luck!

I bought a triple chocolate chunk cookie from here. It was quite large and filling and had a gooey chocolate centre. Tasted good.

Well, there's nothing else to say. These are the BEST COOKIES IN THE UK! What a fabulous suprise to discover you down the little alley. Friendly staff too. Keep doing what you do, and open some up North in Yorkshire and in Birmingham please!
