During a 4 day visit to Bath this is the only food establishment we visited twice. The caretaker management are friendly and really helpful. We tried various cakes, pastries, teas and drinks and loved every mouthful. It’s not cheap but nothing in Bath is Total enjoyment. Try it for yourself

As a personal opinion, after about 3 years without leaving any feedback for the Smash Burger, I would like to say this shop does some of the best burgers by far in town. Cooked to perfection, salad is always fresh and crunchy, and the Smash fries are absolutely incredible and I would also like to mention their products are on the same standards since they opened as I have never found a lack in quality in the past few years when i ate in here on multiple occasions. Staff always prompt and helpful. Keep up the good work, and thank you!!!

Visited for a late lunch. The place was filthy, had to clear my own table and many nearby remained uncleared the whole time I was there. There were 2 lads apparantly clearing but they appeared to be working in slow motion. The "omlette" was a disc of cooked egg in a bun with a few leaves. It tasted of nothing at all except for a curiously sweet jam which was under it. Certainly completely free of cheese. Quite nasty. Won't be back

Excellent cocktails and even better service with a smile from Ella! Ella was really helpful and took time to explain the cocktails on offer!

What an awful customer experience. We both had the burger which, as we pointed out on completion tasted sour and was rather hard. The waiter was indifferent to this and no apology was given, indeed his service was pretty off hand throughout. On going up to pay (also using our 2for1 tastecard), we were expecting the meal to be discounted or comp’d but not only did we have to pay the full figure but he had the audacity to add a service charge too. The restaurant doesn’t have an email address so we contacted them on FB messenger immediately on return home, we only live a few hundred yards away, expecting an early reply. By 1630 today we guessed they weren’t going to respond and called them. What then transpired was 2 tense and very unprofessional phone calls. In the first one he insisted we hadn’t complained, we had, and that we didn’t highlight it earlier, we did. He promised to call us back and duly did. He offered a further 10% discount saying that we’d already got a reduction through our taste card. We reminded him that’s a scheme they’ve signed up to and we pay a fee for and he just replied “well not everyone has it”. When we again reminded him that’s he had given poor service last night he got incredibly defensive and said “I’m not happy with you criticising my service, goodbye!” And hung up! Given his attitude we now feel we cannot return to this restaurant as there would not be an atmosphere where we felt welcome and relaxed. This is particularly disappointing given we have been regular visitors since they opened and indeed dined there on their opening day. Mostly this is a very decent restaurant but this member of staff is clearly misemployed in hospitality! As an aside, other diners were informed certain menu staples had sold out. At 8:30pm. This is not the first time we’ve overheard or indeed experienced this conversation ourselves.

Me and my family often pop over to bath for a Nando’s meal , but this time was different, we got to the restaurant at 11.25 under the impression from previous visits it opened at 11.30am We waited outside till opening time 11:30am At 11:35 my wife with my daughter approached the restaurant and went inside to be told it didn’t open until 12oclock and felt it was quite rude in the way she was told this. We decided not to wait over 20mins to be let inside as we had our young son with us so went on back home. I decided to look online at Nando’s opening times to see it was actually saying open and open from 11.30am until 10pm. I really felt like the staff just didn’t want to service us until they was ready to do so being 12oclock which is a shame as we did like coming for a cheeky Nando’s whilst in bath. From this experience we won’t be returning. Think staff need some training on honesty to customers.

Easy, relaxed place by the river with good service and clean bathrooms. The young woman behind the beer counter was wonderful . Cold beer and great atmosphere.

We were in Bath on a month long trip to the UK. I have been to Bath before and I really like being in that city. It's like a home away from home. People are always so nice there. I met a girl from a local college that I met at the airport and she worked at this restaurant, I believe her name is Audrey, she has blonde hair, sorry if I forgot your name! lol...Anyway, she told us to stop there to have breakfast. She prepared some fruit smoothie for me and my wife and we bought other stuff also. Her and the crew were very nice and the food was fantastic. I am sure glad she suggested to stopping. Place was hard to find but we finally found it. It's across the street from the Bath's main entrance. We never got to say goodbye wanted to at least let them know we enjoyed stopping there and talking to her and the crew. Little things like this make it a fun trip. Thank you from Mark and Carmela from Cleveland, Ohio 😃
