The best restaurants in Abbey Bath and North East Somerset South West

On arrival to sit outside the table required cleaning. We asked the waiter if he could possibly clean the table (politely). He replied he was too busy. No other communication and never returned. We asked another waiter to wipe the table which he did but with one wipe. I live in Bath and proud of the city attractions. I was accompanied with friends from another part of the country. Not a great impression. Staff need to be trained not only in how to clean tables but how they interact with customers. Regrettably on this occasion it was poor!

Sorry Grace Dent your taste buds must be contaminated with all that Posh food! After seeing your programme about Greggs Sausage rolls we tried our first one today. Horrible……insipid sausage and greasy aftertaste. At £1.20 a rip off. Trouble is people are so used to fast food, they think it’s good! Had to have an apple to cleanse our pallets😩😡

Visited table for four took 15 minutes to take order 20 minutes to get starters then 30 minutes for main complained to manager who came up with a check list of times to show it was not slow with the comment this is not a fast food restaurant it then continued with coffee first then one sweet 15 minutes after that the rest of the sweets never had coffee before sweets before. Other people in restaurant seemed to be one course ahead of us yet we were first in restaurant . I think it showed a lack of management control and I felt that because we complained the service got worse. Food quality was very good but for the price I would expect a better service. Having eaten in a lot of top restaurants I would expect better. At no time was the staff going to accept that the customer was correct , just wanted to cause a confrontation over the timing . We will not be going back although the ambience was lovely cannot forgive the service.

Okay, so I can't comment on the quality of the food because after waiting three hours for a delivery order to arrive Yummy House decided, after ignoring their phone for hours, to cancel my order. No-one to answer their phones, and no explanation.

Overpriced, unoriginal and small selection

More than half an hour to get our order, the staff were not very nice and the place definitely can be a lot cleaner

¿Cómo es que una botella pequeña de limonada rosa dietética cuesta £ 2 en la cafetería, pero si bajas a la sala de comidas puedes comprar una botella más grande por 95 p? Tampoco me di cuenta de que la botella que compré en el café estaba 2 meses por encima de la fecha BBE. Mi madre también tenía una taza de Americano regular que era asqueroso y también £ 3. 10 ! No visite aquí, vaya a otro lugar para tomar algo!

We ate here whilst staying at the hotel recently. Casual atmosphere, good staff, food was good quality and reasonably priced for Bath. Will return.

This was the restaurant that introduced me to sushi. It was perfect. I miss it.

Viajo por todo el país y este lugar gana el premio no solo por el KFC más sucio, sino por el lugar de comida rápida más sucio que he visitado. La comida estaba sorprendentemente bien, pero el servicio era descuidado y totalmente poco profesional. Imagina tener que pedir azúcar para que solo te tiren 3 sobres básicamente. Sé que no me creerás cuando diga que este lugar necesita cerrarse y no abrirse hasta que haya tenido una limpieza profunda, así que he adjuntado 3 fotos de los baños de hombres.
