When ya gotta have pasty, the best Cornish pasties in Bath can be found any day at the West Cornwall Pasty Company. The assortment is good, but I like the old stand-by meat and potato. Yummy good.

Chicken & chorizo is a tried and tested flavour that makes your mouth water at the thought. How do you manage to get it so wrong? Tiny, dry, tasteless cardboard parcel by West Country pasty company. That’s how. And at £4.20? You should be ashamed.

Really tasty pasties with a nice warming spice to them. Staff in the shop were super friendly too. However, I saw, what I assume were the same pasties in a garage a couple of miles down the road with the same brand but not the same price. £1 less. Not sure whether they are ripping people off in the city or the product is different.

We came in to escape the rain late one afternoon recently. We hoped to have some tea and cake. The chocolate cake looked wonderfully good: rich and decadent, but when we each took a bite were really disappointed to find it dry. How sad...if the cakes are dry at the end of the day, please don't have me pay for them! Wish we chose a different place.

Walking in Bath and needed a quick bite so called in to the Pasty Company for a cheese and onion pasty. Staff efficient and friendly, fast service. Pasty was hot but a serious disappointment. Pastry bit thick, but my filling was supposed to be cheese and onion. Could taste a bit of cheese and found little bits of onion, but it was mostly potato and rather tasteless. I’ll try another pasty shop next time.

Last week my husband and I had been travelling around Devon and experiencing different pasties, some better than others. Today, after walking around Bath on probably the hottest day of the year so far, and on seeing the West Country Pasty Company, we decided on a late lunch. Despite it being 3pm, we both chose to have a Traditional Pasty. It was terrific and really fresh. We did not have to queue and a big thank you to the member of staff who was so polite and efficient despite the sweltering heat. He was a credit to the company.

Really nice pasties, if a little too flaky pastry, with slightly dry meat inside. Service was a bit slow, but it was very busy so I can forgive them for that. What I cannot forgive is that they charge roughly 20-25% more than other proper pasty shops locally. £5 for a pasty is just too much.

This was my first pasty and I will not be trying one again. I got the steak and ale pasty, mistake number one. The pastry was so hard I had to rip it with my teeth like an animal. Also, I wouldn’t recommend looking inside. Continuing to eat after looking inside was mistake number two. Soon after eating, I sought refuge in the Costa bathroom, as the west Cornwall pasty pit does not provide one.

Me my wife and 4 year old daughter took a trip in to bath on a Thursday afternoon in half term last week. We stopped in to get a pasty as it was a rainy day so wanted something warm. When ordering, I got a traditional (of course) my daughter had a small sausage roll, and my wife went for the Qourn version of the traditional. My wife is allergic to nuts, and just to be on the safe side we always ask, I asked the young blonde girl if there was any nuts in there, she said she didn’t think so but would have a look. I feel like she almost definitely knew there wasn’t but it gave us more confidence when she got the folder out and checked anyway. Friendly girl and also warned us that the pasties may be hot as they had just been baked. Above and beyond customer service from all staff wether it be a smile or just checking we were okay. An all round lovely little shop. Will definitely be returning

My wife and I visited this WCPCo this lunchtime at about 1.30. We only like the Traditional Cornish pasty (why mess around with a winning recipe?). However, there were none ready, so we chose a vegetable wholemeal and a Mediterranean vegetable pasty. The other options available were too way out for our taste, we also ordered some fries. Anyway, the veggie wholemeal was fine, but my wife found the Mediterranean veg option very dry and had probably been hanging around for some time. The fries were also very dry and soggy. So, when our teas arrived I complained. The young lady staff member could not have been more understanding, and as more Traditional Cornish were ready by then, she brought us one as a free replacement. My wife enjoyed this very much and made up for our initial bad experience. Without the kindness shown by this staff member our rating would have been much lower.

One of the better fast food options in Bath. Reasonable prices and good portions. They seem to be a bit slow at cleaning the tables between patrons, but they cheerfully cleaned one for us. While working in Bath a work colleague and myself decided to buy a Pasty each for our lunch. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement, we had the £4.95 traditional pasty, we both thought that at £4.95 for a pasty we were about to get a taste sensation. We were very much mistaken, between the two pasties we had 7 pieces of meat and a crust that was that tough I doubt one of the local seagulls would attempt to eat after we put them in the bin. If you want a Pasty try anywhere but here.

Me and my family often pop over to bath for a Nando’s meal , but this time was different, we got to the restaurant at 11.25 under the impression from previous visits it opened at 11.30am We waited outside till opening time 11:30am At 11:35 my wife with my daughter approached the restaurant and went inside to be told it didn’t open until 12oclock and felt it was quite rude in the way she was told this. We decided not to wait over 20mins to be let inside as we had our young son with us so went on back home. I decided to look online at Nando’s opening times to see it was actually saying open and open from 11.30am until 10pm. I really felt like the staff just didn’t want to service us until they was ready to do so being 12oclock which is a shame as we did like coming for a cheeky Nando’s whilst in bath. From this experience we won’t be returning. Think staff need some training on honesty to customers.

Stumbled across this fab cafe whilst walking along the canal from Limpley Stoke. It has fully embedded gluten free options which is a rare find. Apparently they have a gf food stall at the Bath Christmas market. Banana, chocolate and walnut cafe with a coffee was great. Marshfield ice creams there too. Full meals served too.

As a personal opinion, after about 3 years without leaving any feedback for the Smash Burger, I would like to say this shop does some of the best burgers by far in town. Cooked to perfection, salad is always fresh and crunchy, and the Smash fries are absolutely incredible and I would also like to mention their products are on the same standards since they opened as I have never found a lack in quality in the past few years when i ate in here on multiple occasions. Staff always prompt and helpful. Keep up the good work, and thank you!!!
